Chapter 400 Forced Possession

Lauren was speechless at Quentin's tone. She just asked a question, didn't she? Did Quentin have to be so upset? Did he hate a corporation so much that he wanted everyone in the world to hate it too? Quentin was truly self-centered! Lauren complained in her heart.

She had forgotten that Quentin's self-centeredness had once made her head over heels, which was so infatuated that there was no cure.

"Yeah," Lauren replied irritably, thinking this would drive Quentin away. But to her surprise, Quentin not only didn't leave but got even angrier.

"Not allowed," Quentin said angrily, wishing he could take Lauren back and lock her in a dark room.

She was still the same as before, always managing to touch Quentin's limits of patience, making him furious.

"Why can't I care about the Cloud Group? Who do you think you are, Quentin? What right do you have to decide my thoughts?" Lauren cursed.

"Who am I?" Quentin repeated, glaring at Lauren as if he wanted to express his anger. "Lauren, have you forgotten your identity?"

"Identity? Of course, I haven't forgotten. I'm Joseph's student, Kimberly's daughter, and Ethan's good friend," Lauren deliberately avoided mentioning Quentin. She didn't want to acknowledge any relationship with him, which further infuriated Quentin.

Quentin felt like all his life's anger had accumulated today. He said coldly, "It seems Miss Walker is truly forgetful. You don't even remember the debt you owe."

"Quentin, wake up. I'm the one you owe," Lauren immediately understood Quentin's meaning and sarcastically retorted, "Besides, aren't you the forgetful one? You probably even forgot the marriage certificate!"

"Miss Walker, let me remind you, you were the one who first walked out of this marriage," Quentin took a few deep breaths, feeling like he was about to faint from anger.

Lauren wasn't much better off; she was so angry at Quentin's words that she laughed.

Could Quentin be more shameless? He was the one who first got entangled with Odette, yet he blamed her for walking out of the marriage first?

Lauren retorted, "Quentin, can you stop doing things you can't admit to? Do you think it's fun? Do you think no one will know if you don't admit it? Do you think I'm a fool?"

Before Quentin could respond, Lauren spoke again, "Oh, I forgot, treating people like fools is your specialty!"

"Have you said enough, Lauren?" Quentin's face was terrifyingly dark.

"What? Mr. Robinson, you don't like hearing this?" Lauren wasn't afraid of Quentin at all; her tone became even more piercing.

She used to fear Quentin because she loved him and was afraid he would hate her.

But now she wasn't afraid anymore because she finally understood that as long as Lauren was Quentin's wife, he would always hate her.

After all, no one liked to be tied down.

Lauren added, "If you don't want to see me either, please draft a divorce agreement and sign it. Thank you."

When Lauren said this, she suddenly realized that over the years, her marriage with Quentin had always been a back-and-forth between divorce and marriage.

Quentin always brought despair to her world when she had hope, and when she was in despair, he gave her hope.

This made her afraid to give up hope because she still loved Quentin.

But now it was different. Quentin no longer gave her hope when she was in despair; instead, he plunged her into deeper despair.

This time, she was really tired.

She couldn't guarantee whether she still had feelings for Quentin, so this time she decided to leave on her own, without needing Quentin to drive her away. She would leave voluntarily.

She wanted to go far away, to forget that there was ever a person named Quentin in her world.

Quentin had given her hope while also dragging her into despair.

She should thank Jessica for letting her have a beautiful dream with Quentin as the leading man. But a dream was just a dream, no matter how beautiful. When she woke up, she realized it was all empty.

She should have woken up the day Jessica passed away.

But she was too greedy and dragged it out until now.

From Wendy to Sophia, Lauren had always believed that Quentin would be moved by her sincerity.

But when it came to Odette, she finally understood that she would always be a supporting role. Even if she basked in the light of the leading role, the spotlight on the stage would never shine for her.

She still loved Quentin, but it was time to say goodbye. Her heart was already scarred and couldn't withstand Quentin's torment anymore. She was really tired .

Quentin was like an unattainable sun. Lauren was fortunate enough to touch it, only to be burned all over.

Even if the sun was something everyone yearns for, it shouldn't be approached casually.

But Quentin didn't think so.

Did Lauren really want to leave him and run away with Gregory?

'I won't let you succeed!' Quentin thought. He grabbed Lauren's hand with such force that it almost crushed her wrist.

"Lauren, listen to me. I will never sign the divorce agreement. Do you think you can escape me so easily? I'm telling you, that's not going to happen." Quentin was furious as he forcibly took Lauren away from the airport.

"Hurry up and chase them!" Kimberly was so anxious that she was about to cry. She was so close to taking Lauren away from City A, but Quentin suddenly appeared!

She didn't dare provoke Quentin, but Gregory was different. If anyone in City A could stand up to Quentin, it would be Gregory.

Gregory admired Quentin's dominance. Hearing Kimberly's words, he turned back and smiled slightly. "Why should I chase them?"
