Chapter 341 The Final Choice

Seeing Sophia like this, Noah was unwilling to accept it, but the situation had already happened.

"Sophia." Hearing Sophia's clear statement, Noah was somewhat surprised.

Before coming here, Sophia hadn't said this to him. She had agreed to his proposal and put on the ring. Wasn't the Sophia who kissed him the same Sophia standing before him now?

Sophia acted as if she hadn't heard Noah calling her, deliberately choosing to remain silent.

"What do you mean by that?" Quentin asked, somewhat incredulously, glancing at Sophia.

"Quentin, don't you understand my feelings for you?" As she spoke, Sophia threw herself into Quentin's arms, completely disregarding Noah's feelings.

"From the moment I first saw you as a child, I fell hopelessly in love with you. All these years, it has always been the same, never changing." Sophia confessed her love to Quentin passionately, "But it seems like you've never had me in your heart. But I don't care; I can wait. But just when I finally got close to you, you abandoned me again and chose Lauren."

Sophia wanted to continue playing the victim, but Quentin interrupted her. "I didn't."

This statement both delighted Sophia and deeply hurt Lauren.

'Then what was the time we spent together?' Lauren thought, tears silently falling.

Indeed, how could Quentin's words be easily trusted?

Hearing Quentin's response, Sophia knew she still had a chance.

So Sophia continued, "Yesterday, after I came to see you, I ran into Lauren. I begged her to give you back to me, but she not only mocked me but also slapped me."

Sophia covered her right cheek as if it still hurt.

"Lauren." Quentin merely called out her name, but for Lauren, it was like a stab to the heart.

Lauren couldn't bring herself to say "I didn't" .

If Quentin believed her, he would understand without her saying anything. But now it seemed Quentin was definitely siding with Sophia, so saying more would be useless.

After all, the person Quentin loved had always been Sophia; she was just wishful thinking.

Quentin glanced at Lauren, seeing her tearful, bitter smile, and felt a pang of guilt.

"Sophia, what do you mean?" Noah couldn't accept Sophia's change in attitude. He stepped forward and pulled Sophia away from Quentin.

"Didn't you agree to marry me yesterday?" Noah couldn't believe Sophia could be so different on the surface and inside. Did Sophia only care about benefits, not feelings?

"I don't understand what you're saying." Sophia deliberately avoided Noah's gaze. "Yesterday, you looked so sad. I was worried you'd do something foolish, so I agreed to you."

Hearing this, Noah suddenly understood everything and laughed bitterly in his sadness.

"Do you know how many hearts you've broken because of your so-called compassion?" Tears welled up in Noah's eyes.

Although Noah didn't want to ask the next question, the situation had reached a point where it needed to be resolved.

"If I asked you to choose between me and Quentin, who would you choose?" Noah asked.

"My meaning should be clear by now." Sophia hid behind Quentin, as if afraid Noah might do something rash.

"I want you to tell me clearly, in your own words." Noah shouted angrily, his eyes red.

"Quentin, the one I love has always been him." Sophia replied.

Hearing this, Noah collapsed to the ground, as if all the strength had left his body.

Quentin turned to Sophia and said seriously, "Are you sure everything you just said is true? Do you really choose me?"

"Of course, the one I love has always been you." Sophia smiled, her eyes looking extremely sincere.

"Even if I have nothing?" Quentin asked.

"Even if you have nothing." Sophia said, trying to embrace Quentin, but he pushed her away.

"Quentin?" Sophia was stunned, not knowing what to say.

"No, Sophia, the one you love has always been yourself." Quentin coldly said, then walked over to Noah, helping him to a chair.

"I don't understand." Sophia said.

Although Sophia didn't understand what had just happened, she sensed she had made a grave mistake, one she would regret for the rest of her life.

Quentin sneered, "You never loved me or Noah; you were just using us. You only see benefits. If you truly loved me, where were you when I was at my lowest? If you loved Noah, why did you abandon him just now and choose me? Wasn't it because you heard he transferred Robinson Conglomerate shares to me?"

Faced with Quentin's barrage of questions, Sophia couldn't answer a single one.

Sophia's mind raced, suddenly having a bad thought, 'Had Quentin and Noah planned this all along?'

No, Sophia didn't want to believe it. She couldn't think of a reason why they would do this.

"Quentin, what are you talking about? You really misunderstood me." Sophia tried to make a last-ditch effort, but Quentin wouldn't listen.

The change was too sudden. Not only was Sophia shocked, but Lauren also didn't understand what had happened.

Lauren saw Noah and Quentin's calm demeanor, as if they had anticipated this outcome. The result didn't surprise them.

'Could it be that they had planned this all along?' Lauren wondered.

Thinking this, Lauren covered her mouth in shock, 'If that were true, what was their goal?'

Noah wanted to say something to Sophia but couldn't.

Seeing Noah's struggle, Quentin decided to tell Sophia the truth himself.
