Chapter 344 The New Project
"Did I miss anything?" Quentin turned around and, sure enough, it was Noah.
Noah had been notified by Quentin to attend the meeting. Quentin originally thought Noah would be absent, but he still made it, which made Quentin somewhat relieved..
"How could I miss such a good thing?" Noah sat in his seat and asked Quentin, "So, any good ideas?"
"I'm going to remarry Lauren," Quentin said.
Hearing this, Noah almost burst out laughing. "Quentin, if you want to remarry Lauren, just say it. No need to tie it to restoring the company's reputation and make it sound so grand."
"I'm serious." Quentin said.
Since Quentin said so, Noah dared not joke anymore. He looked at Quentin with interest, ready to listen.
"The company's reputation was damaged because of various scandals, so I decided to use the opportunity of remarrying Lauren to dispel those rumors and shift the media's attention back to Robinson Conglomerate. Then we'll hold a press conference, invite journalists from well-known newspapers to the wedding, and create a media buzz." Quentin continued.
"Not bad, Quentin," Noah said, punching Quentin's arm. "You've got quite a few ideas."
"Then we'll launch our company's new marketing plan. As for the specifics, I haven't decided yet." Quentin turned to face everyone and asked, "Do you have any ideas?"
Seeing everyone shaking their heads, Quentin knew continuing the meeting would be pointless, so he adjourned it.
"What should we do now?" Noah followed Quentin into the office, only to find Lauren was also there.
"It looks like I'm interrupting," Noah said, covering his eyes and pretending to leave.
Quentin pushed Noah back into the office.
Seeing Noah back to his usual playful self, Quentin started joking around with him, which made Lauren feel completely at ease.
"Lauren, do you know?" Noah said mysteriously, approaching Lauren. "Mr. Robinson just told all the senior executives that he's going to marry you."
"What did you say?" Lauren couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Mr. Robinson also said there would be a press conference." Noah glanced at Quentin and said loudly, "I think he wants the whole world to know. He even said it's to restore the company's image."
"Just say less," Quentin slapped Noah on the back. "Why couldn't you say anything when I asked for ideas earlier, but now you're so talkative?"
"I don't know how to do that," Noah said, looking aggrieved. "I have no idea about proposing plans."
Then Noah's eyes lit up as he looked at Lauren. "I remember when you interned at our company, everyone praised the plans you proposed. Now that you're a famous designer, you must have a lot of ideas. Why don't you help Quentin out?"
"What?" Lauren was a bit confused by Noah's words.
"In simple terms, Quentin wants to launch a new marketing plan while rebuilding the company's reputation, but he hasn't decided on the specifics yet," Noah explained.
After Noah finished, Lauren looked at Quentin.
"What do you think?" Quentin asked Lauren.
Actually, Lauren had thought about this when she first joined Robinson Conglomerate.
She noticed that although Robinson Conglomerate had a big name and wide influence, it played more of a middleman role.
They would take products made by other companies, reprocess them, and then sell them again.
They lacked unique products, which meant they had no signature items and lacked distinctiveness.
"How about trying to create unique crafts for Robinson Conglomerate?" Lauren boldly suggested.
Quentin and Noah suddenly became interested, signaling Lauren to continue.
Seeing they seemed to accept the idea, Lauren shared all her thoughts.
The general idea was to design products widely accessible to the public, such as stationery and clothing, based on the company's philosophy and culture.
Robinson Conglomerate's reputation was well-known, and everyone acknowledged the quality of their products.
So once launched, they would surely surpass niche brands.
All they needed to do was to set the prices reasonably, not too much higher than the original.
After all, these everyday items were sold in large quantities with small profits. As long as the sales were good, the profit would be substantial.
"Lauren, you really have good ideas," Noah was deeply impressed by Lauren's words, his eyes showing admiration. "No wonder you became a designer. It would be a shame if your talent was buried."
Noah nudged Quentin, "What do you think of Lauren's idea? I think it's pretty good."
"Yes," Quentin nodded.
Seeing Quentin's approval, Lauren was overjoyed.
"I'll leave this task to you. What do you think?" Quentin asked Lauren, sounding serious.
"Are you serious?" Lauren started to worry. "I'm afraid I won't do well."
Lauren knew this was crucial for Robinson Conglomerate and feared her mistakes might cause losses to the company.
Seeing Lauren's hesitation, Quentin simply said, "I believe in you."
Hearing this, Lauren was deeply moved.
"Yes, Lauren," Noah laughed, "Don't forget, you're a great designer. Have some confidence in your abilities. Honestly, besides you, there's probably no one else in the company suitable for this task."
