Chapter 110 Alice Beat Up the Troublemaker

Colin spun around and saw Elizabeth, yelling, "You bitch, apologize! You have to apologize!"

Elizabeth stayed calm and said, "Sir, please don't talk like that."

"Did my husband say anything wrong? Your kid's a brat, and you must be a bad mom too. Born poor, and she dares to hit my son." Mira Rodriguez, Colin's wife, screamed angrily beside him.

Mira was decked out in a pricey black and white coat, looking all high and mighty. Her face was caked with foundation, which started to flake off as she raged at Elizabeth.

Mira and Colin were the perfect example of tacky new money.

Elizabeth wasn't scared of them. She said coldly, "As far as I know, my daughter is a year younger than your son. How could she possibly beat him? Besides, why should adults get too involved in kids' play? Wouldn't it be better to let them sort it out themselves?"

Elizabeth glanced at Alice, then at Colin's son, who was a head taller than Alice and glaring at her.

Alice, not backing down, made faces at the boy now and then.

"Alice!" Elizabeth scolded.

Alice straightened up immediately.

Mira fumed, "How dare you! You out-of-towner! Make your daughter apologize to my son right now! She must apologize! Or else, I won't let you off today!" Seeing that Elizabeth and Alice weren't scared of her family at all, Mira got even angrier and rolled up her sleeves.

"Mrs. Rodriguez, please, calm down. We can talk this out. Just take a deep breath." Thalia nervously tried to soothe Mira.

After finally getting Mira to cool off a bit, Thalia turned to Elizabeth and pulled her aside, whispering, "Ms. Spencer, Alice is indeed a bit too naughty. Don't be fooled by her being a girl; she fights just as fiercely as boys. Today, she did hit John."

Elizabeth calmly replied, "If Alice hit someone without reason, I can make her apologize. But I wonder if there's a reason for this. The kindergarten has surveillance cameras. I want to see what happened!"

Elizabeth knew Alice well.

At home, Alice was a very well-behaved child. She would help take care of Samuel, and when Elizabeth was busy or not around, Alice could even take Samuel out for some sun. At five years old, Alice was already Elizabeth's little helper. When they went shopping and saw stray dogs or cats, Alice would always ask Elizabeth with a soft heart, "Mom, will they go hungry? Will anyone bully them?"

How could such a child hit someone without reason?

However, Alice was also fearless. Despite being a girl, Alice often said, "Mom, when I grow up, I'll protect you and Uncle Samuel. I won't let anyone bully you."

As Samuel said, Alice's personality was very much like Alexander's.

But even so, Elizabeth didn't believe Alice would start trouble with John.

Elizabeth was adamant about seeing the video to get the full story between Alice and John.

Otherwise, she wasn't going to apologize.

Thalia had no choice but to whisper even lower to Elizabeth, "Ms. Spencer, the Rodriguez family is very influential. Mr. Rodriguez holds an official position, and their family is not to be messed with. John's grandparents donated two hundred thousand dollars to our kindergarten. It's..."

Elizabeth, getting a bit angry, cut Thalia off, "Are you saying that if we don't apologize, the kindergarten won't let Alice attend anymore?"

"I'm afraid..." Thalia said, clearly in a tough spot, "It's not that simple. Even if Alice doesn't attend this kindergarten, she still has to apologize."

"Why?" Elizabeth's voice suddenly rose.

Thalia replied, "Ms. Spencer, it was indeed Alice who hit John."

"I want to see the video!" Elizabeth demanded, still fuming.

In the five years since she moved to Collinsport, she had always kept to herself, quietly doing her job, appearing honest and straightforward. But one thing Elizabeth never allowed was anyone bullying Alice!

Never!

"If the video shows that Alice was wrong, I will definitely apologize!" Elizabeth said coldly, standing her ground.

"Check it then! Show her the video!" Colin shouted, trying to act tough.

Thalia had no choice but to check the video.

As Elizabeth expected, it was John who first mocked Alice for not having a father, then mocked Alice's mom for having been in prison, saying her mom worked like a man on construction sites. Such a background made Alice unworthy of attending this kindergarten.

Because this kindergarten was sponsored by John's grandfather, it was a prestigious place that couldn't accept a little wretch like Alice.

Those were John's exact words.

When John wasn't paying attention, Alice punched him in the nose, making it bleed.

Right after the punch, Thalia took John to clean up the nosebleed.

After watching the video, Colin saw that John had been punched and immediately stood up from his chair, cursing at Elizabeth, "Fuck! You and your daughter are wretches. Apologize to my son right now, or I won't let you leave this school!"

Colin was busy yelling at Elizabeth, while Mira was busy checking if John had any other injuries. At that moment, no one noticed that Alice had quietly moved Colin's chair aside.

Colin finished yelling and went to sit down, ending up on the floor, letting out a painful scream.

Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh.

After laughing, she looked at the Rodriguez family and calmly said, "I've seen the video. It was your son who first verbally insulted my daughter. Your child has no manners at all. Please go home and educate him. My daughter was wrong to hit, and I will educate her at home. Goodbye!"

With that, Elizabeth took Alice and left.
