Chapter 115 What Should You Call Me?

Colin, still rattled, said, "I was wondering why Alexander came to Collinsport to find someone like me instead of those big shots. I thought he was scared of my brother's criminal connections, but now I see that's not it."

He added, "Alexander must've already known that John and Alice go to the same kindergarten."

Mira, confused, asked, "If that's true, why did he help us bully his daughter?"

Colin snapped, "You don't get it!"

Mira went quiet.

"We need to get home and pack. We can still get out of here. Move it!" Colin ordered his wife, grabbing John and heading out.

John started crying and throwing a fit, "No! I want to beat Alice and make her give in!"

"I'll make you give in first, you little troublemaker! Always causing me headaches!" Colin shouted angrily.

"Stop crying! Don't bring Alexander here. We need to go!" Colin yelled at Mira and John, furious.

The family rushed out of the hospital.

Meanwhile, Alexander brought Elizabeth and Samuel to the small courtyard outside Elizabeth's house.

It was a modest place in the suburbs, but it had a unique design because Elizabeth was an architect. She knew her stuff, so her house stood out.

The house was surrounded by a low fence, within which grew fragrant flowers, plants, and vegetable plots. Closest to the front door was a sunny balcony.

Alexander stood outside, looking at the courtyard, and calmly asked Elizabeth, "You seem to be living quite comfortably."

His voice was calm, with no hint of anger, which made Elizabeth even more scared.

Elizabeth kept a steady front, silently looking at Alexander.

Since he had found her, she knew there was no escape. All she could do was hold on to her last bit of dignity.

Alexander also looked at Elizabeth, who hadn't changed a bit in six years.

In fact, Elizabeth seemed even more beautiful now. Back then, she was fresh out of prison, pregnant, broke, and never really dressed up.

Now, she was dressed nicely, with light makeup, and had a mature charm she didn't have six years ago.

Her expression was more composed than it had been six years ago.

Still that same lonely, indifferent composure.

Elizabeth said in a flat tone, "Do whatever you want to me, but Samuel is innocent. Please don't hurt him!"

Alexander sneered, "Is this your unyielding attitude?"

Elizabeth held her tongue.

At that moment, several cars suddenly pulled up behind them.

Elizabeth and Alexander turned around together.

Well-dressed, respectable people started getting out of the cars one by one.

"Mr. Windsor, why didn't you tell me you were coming? I would've thrown a banquet to celebrate. It's my fault for not knowing you were here," Jared Diaz said, trembling with fear as he cautiously spoke to Alexander.

"Yes, Mr. Windsor. If we had known you were coming, we would have made better preparations. This noon, I'll host a banquet to give you a warm welcome. It would be an honor if you could attend," Keith Nelson said, sucking up to Alexander.

More and more cars kept pulling up.

The people getting out, increasingly powerful and influential, all stood behind Alexander, trembling with fear.

Samuel looked around, recognizing some familiar faces.

These were the big shots of Collinsport, all gathered in this small courtyard today.

This showed just how powerful and famous Alexander was.

Alexander regarded these people with a cold, indifferent gaze, like a king surveying his subjects, and said in a chilly tone, "I have personal matters to attend to here. It's not convenient for me to receive guests."

The group fell silent.

Gavin stepped forward and issued orders, "You have five minutes to leave!"

One brave soul asked, "When can we invite Mr. Windsor for a meal?"

Gavin replied, "We'll discuss it tomorrow!"

"Alright, we won't disturb Mr. Windsor any longer. We'll leave now, but we are always ready if he needs us." After finishing speaking, they quickly left.

Everyone wanted to curry favor with Alexander from Aldoria, establishing a connection with him, but they also knew not to anger him.

After they left, only Elizabeth and the others remained outside the courtyard.

Clinging to Elizabeth's leg, Alice, who was usually mischievous, was too frightened to say a word in front of this strange man.

Alexander coldly looked at Elizabeth, asking, "Do you want me to discuss compensation with you outside your house?"

Elizabeth looked around, not wanting to alarm the neighbors, and opened the gate to let Alexander in.

As soon as he entered the fragrant courtyard, Alexander felt a refreshing sensation, as if he were in a dream, then followed Elizabeth inside.

The living room was spacious and sparsely furnished. Despite the lack of high-end pieces, it exuded a sense of homeliness, with its clean and tidy appearance making one feel very comfortable.

Alexander sat on the sofa like he owned the place, his deep eyes fixed on Elizabeth and the others.

"Mr. Windsor," Samuel spoke humbly, "Back in Sunwillow City, the Bell family couldn't compare to the Windsor family. I have no leverage to negotiate with you. I saved Elizabeth and took her away. The person you should be seeking revenge on is me. It's been six years, and Elizabeth has never bothered you with her child, and she never will. I promise she and the kid will never interfere in your life again."

Alexander gave Gavin a look, and Gavin instantly pushed Samuel out.

"Samuel!" Elizabeth shouted, then angrily looked at Alexander, "Where are you taking Samuel?"

Alexander didn't look at Elizabeth, calmly saying, "I'm taking Samuel away to avoid harming an innocent person. He's already paralyzed because of you. Do you want him to lose his life for you too?"

Elizabeth remained silent, watching Samuel being taken away.

In the large living room, only Elizabeth and Alice were left.

Alice used her small body to shield Elizabeth, looking at Alexander with a terrified expression and speaking, "I was the one who hit John. You bad man! If you want to hit someone, hit me, not my mom!"

Alexander suddenly asked gently, "Do you know what you should call me?"
