Chapter 135 Are You Healed?

Elizabeth said stiffly, "Lead the way!"

The receptionist remained silent.

The lady who had just scolded Elizabeth was stunned when she heard Alexander wanted Elizabeth to go in.

"Are you Elizabeth?" the lady blocked Elizabeth and asked in a questioning tone.

Elizabeth sneered, "I don't think I know you, do I? Do I have an obligation to answer you?"

How ridiculous! Did everyone in this world think they could order her around?

She saved Alexander's life and gave birth to his child.

If Alexander hadn't taken Alice as a hostage, Elizabeth wouldn't be so constrained.

Elizabeth looked at the receptionist, who immediately treated  her warmly, saying, "Miss Spencer, this way, please."

The lady behind was furious and immediately took out her phone, calling, "Alexander, I'm at the reception. Come to the conference room immediately. I need to have a meeting with you!"

On the other end, Alexander's tone was particularly cold, "Sierra, I've told you I don't like family members getting involved in company affairs. Since you insist on having a meeting, you don't need to go to the conference room. I'll be waiting for you in my office!"

The woman calling Alexander was Felix's wife, Sierra Fisher.

Sierra's three biological sons were all eliminated by Alexander with no evidence left. Sierra was heartbroken and almost died, but with Felix accompanying her abroad for some time, she barely recovered.

Since her biological sons were gone, she had decided to treat Alexander as her son. She was still the formidable woman who once dominated the business world!

Sierra, adjusting the noble silk scarf around her neck, and wearing her gold-rimmed glasses, walked towards Alexander's office in her characteristic wealthy woman's high heels.

In the office, Alexander was talking to a man, "Gideon, if we buy that piece of land in the northern region, what do you suggest?"

Gideon Lavien touched the ring on his hand, saying slowly, "Alexander, it's up to you. I'm not interested in business. I bought that land just to make things easier for you."

"Thanks," Alexander said.

Then, he unceremoniously drove Gideon away, "Aren't you leaving?"

Gideon said leisurely, "I haven't seen the woman you're hiding. How can I leave? Alexander, you've been single for so many years, waiting for that woman? I guess the mischievous little girl you brought back today is also her child? You can't keep her hidden forever. I absolutely have to meet your woman today."

As soon as Gideon finished speaking, Elizabeth pushed the door open and came in, asking, "Alexander, where is Alice?"

Gideon smiled, "Speak of the devil, and she appears!"

The receptionist behind was trembling with fear, saying worriedly, "I'm sorry, Mr. Windsor, I told Miss Spencer to knock, but she still pushed the door open. I'm sorry."

Gideon smiled leisurely, "It's none of your business. You can go back to your post."

The receptionist said in relief, "Thank you, Mr. Lavien." Then she turned and ran.

Gideon looked at Elizabeth in front of him who had a cold and calm demeanor and the suppressed anger in her face. He said lightly, "You're Alexander's woman, right? You finally showed up. I thought Alexander would hide you forever."

Elizabeth's face turned slightly red, replying, "Sorry, I'm not his woman. I'm here to find my daughter."

Then, she looked at Alexander, asking, "Alexander, Alice just arrived in Sunwillow City. She's not used to the food here. It's already past noon. Please tell me where she is!"

As soon as she finished speaking, another figure burst in.

"Alexander, is this Elizabeth that woman?" Sierra stood behind Elizabeth, angrily questioning Alexander.

"Mrs. Windsor," Gideon stood up and bowed slightly.

Sierra's tone softened a bit, "You're the second son of the Lavien family, right? I heard you got promoted again recently. You should be a general now, right?"

Gideon beamed, "It's kind of you to remember and care about me."

Sierra didn't smile, "Remarkable individuals like you always leave a lasting impression"

"Thanks for the compliment," Gideon smiled.

Sierra stopped chatting with Gideon and looked sternly at Alexander, admonishing, "Alexander! Is this woman who caused chaos in the entire high society of Aldoria six years ago? I warn you! You can't get involved with Elizabeth! She ruined many noblemen, having dealings with the deceased Wesley. She's an immoral woman! As the sole heir of the Windsor family, your reputation is more important than anything. Even if you keep her around for fun, she's not qualified!"

The sharp-tongued Sierra of the Windsor family was no less harsh than Marcus Windsor.

Listening to Sierra's dismissive remarks, Elizabeth just lowered her head and sneered, saying nothing.

Six years ago, she was weak, and she still was.

Alexander said slowly, "Sierra, the Windsor Group has a rule that family members are not allowed to interfere in company affairs. You are retired and shouldn't be here."

"I'm not interfering in your company affairs! I'm talking about family matters!" Sierra shouted, "Although you're not my biological son, I've treated you well. You know better than I do how your three brothers died! Now you're the only descendant of the Windsor family. The whole family has high hopes for you. You are the dignity of the Windsor Group. Don't you understand that?"

Alexander showed no respect for Sierra, sneering, "My late mother already taught me those principles. Sierra, if you want to talk about family matters, let's discuss them at home."

With that, he pressed the button on the desk phone, ordering, "Landon, take Sierra out."

"Yes!" Outside, Landon responded and came in, "Mrs. Windsor, please."

Sierra's face turned red with anger, but she had no choice but to be escorted out by Landon.

In the large office, only Elizabeth, Alexander, and Gideon remained.

"Mr. Windsor, where is Alice? I need to see her immediately," Elizabeth said calmly, looking at Alexander.

"Is your injury healed?" Alexander asked.
