Chapter 47 Which One Is the Real You?

Elizabeth also looked up at Alexander with a surprised expression, not understanding why he was there. Then she thought again, Alexander should be here because this cruise was full of heirs from wealthy families.

Alexander wrapped Elizabeth tightly in his suit, then lifted her up and held her in his arms, glaring fiercely at the men and women present.

The previously lively atmosphere on the cruise instantly fell silent.

No one on this cruise wasn't afraid of Alexander.

Back then, barely anyone feared him or even knew his background. However, in just one month, Alexander had wiped out obstacles within the entire Windsor family and seized control of the Windsor Group. This wasn't the most impressive part; the most significant thing was that the company operated smoothly without any hitch after the sudden change in leadership.

This clearly showed that Alexander had prepared for a long time, with his people already in place within the company's upper management, allowing the company to function normally despite the change in leadership.

Even Marcus, the highest authority in the Windsor family, Alexander's grandfather, had a newfound respect for Alexander overnight.

Marcus not only forgive Alexander for wiping out most the Windsor family members but also worried about finding a fiancée for him.

This was enough to show that Alexander's ruthless methods had completely intimidated the once-dominant Marcus, who had been a titan in the business world!

Who wouldn't be afraid of someone as ruthless as Alexander?

Someone whispered, "Elodie, didn't you say this woman was just a vain, poor girl with no background? How does she know Mr. Windsor? Looks like we're doomed today; I don't want to die."

Elodie was also scared out of her wits.

With a pale face and a fawning smile, she said, "Mr. Windsor, Elizabeth is here..."

Before Elodie could finish her sentence, Alexander had already taken Elizabeth away quickly.

From the moment he arrived to the moment he left, Alexander didn't say a word, but it was enough to scare everyone present out of their wits.

It was only a few minutes after Alexander's figure disappeared that the others on the cruise came back to their senses.

Somebody questioned, "Who is this woman, really? wasn't she here to make money? I saw her just now, completely submissive and not resisting Mr. Windsor's advances at all. But why did Mr. Windsor suddenly take her away?"

Someone pressured her, "Elodie, you started this; you have to take responsibility. In the entire New York, only the Jones family can compare to the Windsor family. You need to get , Declan, to explain it, or we'll all be implicated by you!"

"How was I supposed to know Alexander would come!" Elodie responded, both angry and jealous.

She thought, 'Why does Elizabeth, such a shameless gold-digger, always get Alexander's help despite being so lowly?Last time, Alexander kissed her in public, and this time he helped her out publicly and took her away.Damn Elizabeth!'

Privately, Elodie believed she was the most suitable match for Alexander. Since the Jones family was the second-largest family in New York after the Windsor family, and Declan adored her.

If she wanted to marry Alexander, Declan would definitely support her in her pursuit.

Elodie wouldn't allow any other woman to compete with her for Alexander.

Especially someone as lowly as Elizabeth!

At this moment, Owen and Samuel, who had been quietly watching everything from a corner, quietly joined the crowd.

Owen, looking nonchalant, smiled and said to the frightened people, "It's no big deal. Alexander just took away your plaything, Elizabeth. Is that worth panicking over?"

Someone pleaded, "Mr. Tudor, please save us!"

Another flattered, "You're the only one who can speak to Mr. Windsor."

One added, "Please, Mr. Tudor. If you save me, I'll give you my most beloved new sports car, no strings attached!"

Owen smiled, and responded, "You said it!"

They cheered, "Yeah!"

Owen assured them, "Alright. I promise all of you, it's fine! Absolutely fine. Alexander won't openly go against so many heirs of wealthy families over a tramp like Elizabeth. He's too busy with his big plans to bother with you. Keep playing."

Someone remarked, "Mr. Tudor, if you say so, I'm relieved."

Another chimed in, "Next time, let's have Mr. Tudor organize the event. So we can have more fun."

One added, "Thank you, Mr. Tudor."

"No big deal!" Owen said generously.

Although this cruise party was luxurious and grand, it lost its excitement without Elizabeth, who was a clown for everyone to laugh at. Plus, Alexander's arrival had already intimidated them, and they no longer had the heart to play wildly.

Attendees of the cruise party quickly dispersed.

On the way home, Owen, driving, said to Samuel with interest, "Samuel, I thought after this group of losers played with Elizabeth, I wouldn't have a chance to mess with her anymore. Who knew they wouldn't be able to succeed today? Looks like Elizabeth is still my prey!"

Samuel chided seriously, "Why are you still thinking about messing with Elizabeth? Does she really interest you that much? Didn't you see Alexander personally came to take her away today, wrapped her in his suit, and held her as they left! Owen, do you have a death wish?"

As a good friend, Samuel felt the need to remind Owen, "Owen, I'm warning you, Alexander is not someone to mess with! He even dared to wipe out his half-brother, let alone you, his cousin?"

Owen confidently said, "You don't understand Alexander. He's not protecting Elizabeth; he's protecting himself. Although he married Elizabeth temporarily for Esme's sake, a marriage is a marriage. He can't let Elizabeth be humiliated in broad daylight."

Samuel agreed, "That's true."

"I bet Alexander is privately giving Elizabeth a hard time right now," Owen said, driving and confidently looking ahead with a smile.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth had indeed been taken back to Alexander's place.

On the way back, neither Elizabeth nor Alexander said a word. Elizabeth regretted not getting her tip today, but she remained cold and distant in front of Alexander.

She was used to it.

She had never had her wishes come true and was always unlucky.

So, after being unlucky for so long, Elizabeth had become accustomed to it.

Alexander also remained silent with a cold face, driving her home quickly. He held her firmly with one arm all the way, which made Elizabeth very uncomfortable. She tried to struggle but couldn't break free from Alexander's embrace.

Until he opened the door, went in, and slammed the door shut. Alexander suddenly flipped her against the door, pinning her with his arms, and in a low, hoarse voice, he demanded, "Which you is the real you?"
