Chapter 358 The First Time Driving Out
Clara was secretly cursing Elizabeth, while Elizabeth remained oblivious.
Elizabeth wanted to take revenge on the Guise Family, but she never intended to be so ruthless as to kill everyone in the Guise Family.
Her life with Alexander had turned so sweet. She had a daughter and would have more children in the future. Thinking of these things, Elizabeth didn't want to harbor such deep hatred in her heart anymore.
She believed that good people would be fortunate, and bad people would naturally be punished; it was just a matter of time.
The Guise Family had been plotting against her since the day they framed her and sent her to prison eight years ago.
But after all the scheming, what was the result?
In the end, Elizabeth still won.
If they hadn't framed her and sent her to prison, she wouldn't have met Esme. If Oliver hadn't tricked her into accompanying a dying man, she wouldn't have gotten pregnant with Alexander's child. It all seemed like it was arranged by God.
In the end, the Guise Family spent eight years and got nothing.
On the other hand, Elizabeth had a job, a husband, and a child.
As for Oliver and Declan, Elizabeth had thought it through; she didn't care about the bond with the two of them.
She only hoped that one day, Oliver wouldn't regret it until his death and Declan would be harmed by his so-called granddaughter Clara!
These were other people's matters and had little to do with her anymore.
Elizabeth just wanted to live a happy life with her family of three.
On this weekend, Elizabeth felt both relaxed and in pain.
The relaxing part was that she could sleep in. Alexander had already gotten up and gone out, and Alice hadn't come over to wake her up. So, she had the whole big bed to herself, and she could sleep however she wanted.
When she couldn't sleep anymore, she put on one of Alexander's shirts and lazily sat on the balcony, enjoying the morning view.
Her heart was incredibly peaceful.
However, she also had her painful moments.
Last night, she had really indulged herself too much. The consequence of indulgence was that she couldn't compete with Alexander, and he had worn her out so much that she felt like her bones were shattered.
Even though she was lying comfortably in the rocking chair, her body still felt like it was falling apart.
Thinking about it, she couldn't help but blush and smile.
"Alexander is so strong, that jerk!" Elizabeth playfully cursed.
Just then, her phone rang. She quickly got off the rocking chair, ran to the bedside table, and answered the call.
On the other end, Julia's loud voice came through, "Elizabeth, are you up yet? Don't tell me you're still snuggled up in your considerate husband's arms, not even changing positions."
Elizabeth blushed even through the screen, "What nonsense are you talking about? You're not even married yet. When you get married, your mouth will be even less reserved!"
Julia laughed heartily, "Elizabeth, I know you fell asleep last night, so you probably don't know. Check Twitter now. Your husband, who can be ruthless enough to kill without hesitation, is also the warmest man in the world when he wants to be! Check the Windsor Group's official Twitter; it's practically a place for you two to show off your love. Mrs. Windsor, the happiest woman in the world, you're buying all my clothes today!"
Julia kept talking on the phone.
Elizabeth quickly checked Twitter.
She was speechless with shock, never expecting that Alexander, who never said romantic words and usually spoke very little, would post a photo of the two of them in the middle of the night.
A photo of them wrapped in a blanket.
She was sweetly asleep, with a slight smile on her lips.
And he was looking at her with a very contented expression.
Looking at the photo, Elizabeth was mesmerized and couldn't take her eyes off it.
"Elizabeth! Elizabeth!" Julia urged on the other end of the phone.
"Okay." Elizabeth quickly responded.
Julia urged, "Come out quickly; bring Alice. You're buying for us!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Elizabeth got up, put on light makeup, and ran downstairs with Alice.
"Mom, you're very happy," Alice could see the change in Elizabeth.
Elizabeth didn't hide it at all, "Of course!"
"Why?"
"Because today, Mommy is taking you and my friends to the mall to shop and buy beautiful clothes."
"But you're not beautiful at all today!"
"Who says that? I looked in the mirror for a long time. I dressed up very nicely, okay!"
"You're limping like a cripple. It's not beautiful at all."
Elizabeth fell silent, her face suddenly turning red.
That was because Alexander had used too much strength yesterday!
It made her so mad!
She really needed to restrain herself in the future!
But thinking about how he could always find new ways to excite her, she had no resistance at all under his influence.
Elizabeth sighed and squatted down to ask Alice, "Sweetie, do I look really ugly when I walk?"
Alice nodded, then shook her head, "It's okay, Mommy. I know you wore high heels all day yesterday, socializing everywhere. You're just tired from standing, so your legs are limping, right? I don't think you are ugly. Mommy is the most beautiful woman."
Alice smiled sweetly at Elizabeth.
It wasn't until Elizabeth held Alice's hand and walked downstairs to the car Alexander had bought for her that she remembered she had to drive.
Elizabeth actually learned things very quickly and remembered them well.
Although Alexander had only taught her for a few days, she had already mastered it. She hadn't driven before because her relationship with Alexander wasn't as sweet.
But now it was different.
Now, she felt that everything that belonged to her husband Alexander also belonged to her, feeling very justified driving this car.
That morning, Elizabeth drove the car for the first time, taking Alice to pick up Harper and Julia. Since it was her first time driving, she drove very steadily, not seeking speed but stability.
However, what she didn't expect was that even though she was driving so carefully and steadily, just as she was about to turn onto the road after leaving the community, she suddenly grazed someone.
Frightened, Elizabeth immediately stopped the car, got out, and helped the person she had grazed, saying, "I'm sorry; I'm sorry. Are you okay?"
However, the person she had grazed looked like she had seen a ghost, getting up, and running away.
Elizabeth fell silent.
