Chapter 113 Father and Daughter Reunion
Elizabeth's voice was so soft, it was like she was just whispering to herself.
She was barely making a sound, just a faint noise in her throat.
Seeing Alexander standing there, Elizabeth couldn't help but feel a wave of tension. Six years had passed, and the cold, intense vibe around Alexander was even stronger and more controlled than before.
Alexander didn't say a word, but his presence was enough to fill the room.
Colin and Mira, who were usually so full of themselves, immediately started sucking up to Alexander as soon as he walked in.
"Mr. Windsor, what brings you here? My back's not that bad," Colin said, trying to smile at Alexander.
Mira just nodded like crazy, too scared to even speak.
Only John seemed comfortable around Alexander, greeting him warmly, "Uncle Alexander."
Alexander gave him a slight smile in return.
John turned to Elizabeth and boasted, "Bitch! This is my dad's new friend, a big shot from Sunwillow City. He's super powerful! If you don't get out of Collinsport, Uncle Alexander will take care of you!"
John, taking after his parents, was super arrogant and bossy.
"Sir, you are..." Dorian couldn't believe his eyes. Was this really Alexander from Aldoria, the head of the Windsor family who had grown their business fivefold in just five years?
"Alexander Windsor," Alexander said coldly, looking at Dorian.
Dorian's heart sank.
If Colin had Alexander backing him, Elizabeth was in serious trouble.
Dorian might have some clout in Collinsport, but compared to Alexander, he was nothing.
"Mr. Windsor," Dorian started, trying to speak up for Elizabeth.
But Alexander raised his hand to stop him. "Mr. Astor, starting today, the Windsor Group is fully acquiring your real estate company."
Dorian was shocked. "Why?"
"To consolidate all the small real estate companies in Collinsport," Alexander replied coldly, not even looking at Dorian.
Dorian fell silent.
"Gavin!" Alexander called out.
"Yes, Mr. Windsor," Gavin answered, coming in from outside. He acted like he didn't even see Elizabeth and respectfully asked Alexander, "What can I do for you, Mr. Windsor?"
"Please escort Mr. Astor out. My friend needs to rest," Alexander said.
"Yes, Mr. Windsor," Gavin responded, grabbing Dorian's arm and pushing him out before he could say anything.
Elizabeth was left in the ward, stunned.
Alexander looked at her coldly. "Ms. Spencer!"
Elizabeth stayed silent.
"Do you know how much my friend makes in a day?" Alexander asked.
Elizabeth wasn't interested in his questions. Her mind was racing with the fact that Alexander had finally found them.
She just wanted to warn Samuel to take Alice and run.
But Samuel was paralyzed from the waist down, and Alice was only five years old.
Where could they possibly go?
Elizabeth's eyes stung with tears. She bit her lip, trying hard not to cry, and avoided looking at Alexander.
Alexander continued, "My friend here makes over a million dollars a day! He needs to stay here for at least a week. Do you think five million dollars is too much?"
"I don't think it's too much. In fact, it should be ten million dollars!" Alexander said flatly.
"Mr. Windsor, thank you so much! You're right; we should be compensated ten million dollars!" Colin grinned, feeling even more self-righteous.
John, eager to please, chimed in, "Thank you, Uncle Alexander."
"Even if you find a hundred people to help you, I'm not scared. You're still my defeated opponent! John, if you have the guts, let's fight one-on-one. If I beat you, you can't extort my mom anymore!" A high-pitched, childish voice suddenly came from outside the ward.
Elizabeth turned around in fright, seeing Alice standing at the door.
Samuel, cold as an ice sculpture, was sitting in a wheelchair behind Alice.
Samuel couldn't rest easy with Elizabeth coming alone, so he took a taxi to the hospital with Alice. He thought that no matter how paralyzed he was, he was still a man, and he should be the one to stand in front no matter what happened.
But he never expected to see Alexander here and was too stunned to speak.
Standing by Alexander's feet, John was smug. "Alice, I won't fight you one-on-one. I have Uncle Alexander to help me now. If you don't apologize to me, Uncle Alexander will kill you. Not only you, but he'll also kill your mom!"
Alice's eyes widened, and she clenched her fists. Before John could react, she had already rushed up and pushed the smug John to the ground.
"Alice!" Elizabeth was terrified. She quickly hugged Alice and whispered in her ear, "Alice, run with Samuel. Don't worry about what's happening here, just run with him."
After saying that, she dragged Alice towards the door, but Gavin blocked their way. Elizabeth looked at him in fear.
Alice broke free from Elizabeth's hands and shouted, "Mom, we don't need to be afraid of them. I will protect you and Uncle Samuel. I'm not afraid of that ugly John! Come on, John, fight me one-on-one! I'll beat you to death!"
Alice was so focused on challenging John that she didn't even notice Alexander standing next to Colin.
But Alexander saw Alice clearly.
Alice, at five years old, was slightly taller and thinner than her peers. Her face bore a resemblance to Elizabeth's, but the rest of her features were unmistakably Alexander's.
Alexander's heart was in turmoil, with an indescribable feeling.
He had been looking for them for six years!
"Uncle Alexander, help me deal with Alice. She's a bastard without a father!" John cried after being hit by Alice.
Colin, lying on the hospital bed, also yelled, "Little bitch, how dare you hit John in front of us? Let me teach you a lesson today!"
Alexander, who squatted in front of Alice, asked in a deep voice, "Is your name Alice Spencer?"
