Chapter 340 Fanning the Flames

Elizabeth turned around and saw Oliver and Lila.

"What a small world."

Elizabeth quietly looked at Oliver and Lila. "You two made up?"

The moment Oliver saw Elizabeth, he was filled with rage. He shook off Lila and stormed towards Elizabeth. "I'm going to beat you to death today!"

"Mr. Guise!" Gavin, standing behind Elizabeth, shouted coldly.

Oliver's raised hand immediately stopped in mid-air.

He resentfully said to Gavin, "Gavin! Don't pick the wrong side! You should know it's Mr. Windsor who pays you, not Elizabeth! Don't end up not knowing how you died!"

"You damn old man! How dare you hit my mom, I'll bite you to death!" No one saw how Alice ran up to Oliver, but she never cared about her ladylike image. She grabbed Oliver's leg and bit down.

Oliver screamed in pain and fell backward.

"Alice!" Elizabeth also scolded Alice anxiously. "Alice, don't bite him; he's dirty! There are germs; are you stupid? How can you use your teeth to bite?"

"Dirty?" Lila coldly rebuked Elizabeth. "You actually think your foster father is dirty! Elizabeth, are you even human? Our family raised you for eight years! What do you think you are? Today is my daughter's and Alexander's family banquet, and you come to cause trouble?"

Elizabeth sneered and whispered in Lila's ear, "Mrs. Guise, I want to ask you, have you washed off the smell on you? If not, sooner or later, Oliver will discover your secret."

Lila's face immediately changed. "What did you say?"

Elizabeth said, "I said, you should go beat up Oliver right now. After all, he received the letter my mother gave."

Lila exclaimed, "Are you still trying to sow discord between us?"

"No." Elizabeth smiled calmly. "I'm saying, if you don't go beat up your husband right now, your husband will beat you up. Not only that, but he'll also kick you out with nothing. By then, how will you support your lover?"

Lila was silent.

After a second, she immediately turned around and rushed at Oliver like a madwoman. "Oliver, tell me! You damn thing, what exactly did you see in that letter that day!"

Oliver was furious and immediately exploded. "Lila, how did you get provoked by Elizabeth again? I didn't see anything that day. It was just a blank piece of paper, a blank piece! Elizabeth, you damn thing! Are you still trying to sow discord between us? I'm going to beat you to death today."

Thinking about the last time Elizabeth's provocation led to a fight between him and Lila, Oliver was so angry he wanted to beat her to death. But before he could make a move, Alexander had already announced that Elizabeth was his wife. No matter how much Oliver hated Elizabeth, he didn't dare to go against Alexander.

But that hatred still festered in his heart.

So at this moment, while Lila was tearing at Oliver, Oliver wanted to break free from Lila to beat Elizabeth.

Unfortunately, Lila was quite strong, and it was hard for Oliver to break free from her.

Their brawl at the entrance of The Windsor Manor provided quite a spectacle for the onlookers.

People started whispering again. "These are Clara's parents, such terrible manners. How is Declan related to them?"

"They come here and want to teach Elizabeth a lesson? They should sort out their own mess first."

"So entertaining." Alice, leaning against Elizabeth, also laughed.

Gavin, who initially wanted to stop all this, was stunned.

Elizabeth watched everything calmly.

How ugly.

"Mom, Mom, what method did you use to make them fight?" Alice asked.

Before Elizabeth could answer, Gavin said, "Your mom used a trick called..."

Gavin wanted to explain but was afraid of setting a bad example for Alice, so he changed his words. "Gave a little push."

"Mom, your plan worked great, and they're fighting." Alice clapped her hands.

Julia and Harper also laughed cheerfully.

Robert, standing nearby, said, "You three women together are unstoppable! Elizabeth is calm and resourceful, and she can be the strategist. Julia has a sharp tongue, and you..."

Harper blushed and asked, "What about me?"

Robert laughed. "I love a shrew the most. Especially when my shrew slowly becomes polite, it seems more genuine."

Harper always knew Robert could sweet-talk, but at this moment, she was still quite happy to hear it.

"Today, there's a good show to watch," Robert added.

"Why, do you also want to help Clara with Elodie?" Harper immediately asked with a stern face.

Robert deliberately asked, "From what you're saying, are you planning to side with Elizabeth to fight against Elodie and Clara?"

"That's right!" Harper said without hesitation. "Julia and I agreed on the way here that we must stand with Elizabeth. No matter what happens today, we will stick together. With Julia and me here, we won't let Elizabeth be bullied alone. With me, the shrew, and Julia, the hot-tempered one, I also found that Alice, this five-year-old girl, is quite a fighter. Maybe the four of us women can turn this place upside down!"

Harper looked fearless.

"So, even if Alexander is here, you're not afraid?" Robert asked with interest.

He thought Harper would say she wasn't afraid.

However, Harper honestly said, "Why wouldn't I be afraid?"

Robert was silent.

"But I want to protect Elizabeth more because she helped me when I was in a difficult time. When I think about how Elizabeth was never afraid of Alexander, I tell myself to be brave!" Harper said earnestly.

Her demeanor surprised Robert.

For a moment, he was quite impressed.

Robert smiled. "Don't worry; today you three will be the stars of this banquet."

With that, he walked up to Oliver and Lila and said disdainfully, "Aren't you ashamed to fight like this at the Windsor Manor's entrance?"

Lila then realized she had been played by Elizabeth again, who shrugged at her, looking very innocent.

At this moment, a stern voice suddenly came from inside the old mansion. "What's going on! What happened!"
