Chapter 327 Getting a Divorce

When Gavin was surprised, Elizabeth realized that all these years, she had been wrongfully blaming Alexander.

All these years, those who had been hunting her and Samuel were doing so under Alexander's name, trying to eliminate them.

So, in this world, the person who most wanted to eliminate Elizabeth was...

"The Guise Family!"

"It's the Guise Family! Mrs. Windsor, it must be them!"

Elizabeth and Gavin said simultaneously.

However, Elizabeth's tone was very calm, while Gavin's tone was filled with anger.

"I understand, Gavin. Thank you," Elizabeth said with a smile.

"Mrs. Windsor, if you need anything from me, including anything from Julia, just let me know. Julia is my cousin; I watched her grow up. She has no ill intentions. Mrs. Windsor, feel free to spend time with her. At the very least, in an emergency, she can help you," Gavin said sincerely.

"I know, Julia is a good girl. She is my best friend. Thank you, Gavin, for helping me find such a good friend," Elizabeth said genuinely.

After speaking, she bid farewell to Gavin. "You should go back early too. I'll head upstairs now."

"Goodbye, Mrs. Windsor." Gavin watched Elizabeth go upstairs. He didn't leave but stayed in the car.

It wasn't until Gavin confirmed that Elizabeth had gone upstairs and the family of three had finished dinner that he took out his phone and called Alexander, "Mr. Windsor, I have a new discovery."

On the other end, Alexander glanced at Elizabeth and Alice, who were in the dressing room. Then he got up, went downstairs, and got into Gavin's car.

"What's the matter?" Alexander asked.

"During Mrs. Windsor's six years on the run, there were always people hunting them. The reason she hid so well was to avoid those hunters. And every time they pushed Mrs. Windsor and Mr. Bell to the brink, they would tell her that you sent them. This is why she avoided you for six years and was still very wary of you after returning."

Alexander was silent, with his face immediately turning dark and terrifying.

However, Gavin was so focused on telling Alexander this that he didn't notice his change in expression. He continued, "Mrs. Windsor and I both guessed that it's the Guise Family."

"I know," Alexander said flatly.

What Gavin and Elizabeth could guess, Alexander could naturally guess immediately.

"Mr. Windsor! What should we do now?" Gavin asked Alexander.

"Keep investigating. Find out all the issues with the Guise Family! The most important thing is to investigate the relationship between them and Elizabeth's mother, as well as the relationship between them and Declan!" Alexander ordered.

"Yes, Mr. Windsor!"

Alexander added, "Remember; don't alert the enemy."

Gavin immediately said, "Understood, Mr. Windsor!"

After Gavin drove away, Alexander went upstairs. As soon as he entered, he saw Elizabeth and Alice coming out of the dressing room. Seeing Alexander come in from outside, Elizabeth asked with a gentle smile, "You're back. Do you think Alice and I look good in these matching outfits?"

Alexander was silent.

She was smiling so brightly at him?

Like how she looked when she was with her friends at the company, so carefree and unreserved.

For a moment, Alexander was stunned.

He even felt a sense of being flattered, as if he were someone who had been neglected for a long time and suddenly received attention.

Alexander mocked himself inwardly.

Since when had he become so timid, changing so much just to make Elizabeth smile?

Alright!

He had to admit he had changed a lot.

"Say something; do we look good?" Elizabeth asked Alexander in a tone like a long-married couple.

Alice also glared at Alexander with dissatisfaction, saying, "It must not look good; Dad isn't complimenting us."

Elizabeth tugged Alice's arm. "Your dad is a man; he doesn't understand."

Alexander was silent.

He said, "I think you both look very good in these outfits."

Alice immediately smiled brightly, "I knew Dad would say we look good. I love these matching outfits the most."

Elizabeth also smiled broadly, "I think it would look even better if our whole family wore matching outfits. What do you think, Alexander?"

She called him Alexander so gently.

Alexander once again felt a sense of being flattered.

He thought it was a rare occurrence to feel flattered twice in one night. However, what caught Alexander off guard repeatedly was that Elizabeth was very proactive that night.

Not only proactive, but she was also enthusiastic.

The smile on her face never disappeared; she was always smiling, making him feel like he was on cloud nine.

After Elizabeth put Alice to bed, she came to him in a bathrobe, saying, "It's time to take a bath. Are you tired today? Should I help you bathe? But I've never bathed a man before. This is my first time. If I don't do it well, don't mind, okay?"

Alexander frowned upon hearing this.

It was right that she hadn't bathed a man before!

"What's wrong? You don't want to?" Elizabeth asked.

Alexander replied, "No, I'm afraid you won't do it well."

Elizabeth was silent.

"It's better if I bathe you; it feels more secure," Alexander added.

Elizabeth laughed.

That night, without a doubt, Alexander bathed her. In terms of bathing, she was indeed not as good as him. After they finished bathing, Elizabeth was once again proactive.

A very open kind of proactiveness.

She found that because of her proactiveness and openness, she received more joy.

That night, she was happier than ever before.

Afterward, she nestled contentedly against his neck and softly called, "Alexander."

"What?" Alexander's voice was deep and husky, very sexy.

"I..." She suddenly couldn't continue, her throat choked up. She had to calm her emotions before she could continue.

"What's wrong?" Alexander gently pinched her small, straight nose and asked.

Elizabeth took a deep breath and suddenly said, "Let's get a divorce!"
