Chapter 250 Identity Revealed
Elizabeth gasped, never expecting Molly to punish her in such a way.
Harper, holding the dirty, broken shoes, was also stunned.
Despite Harper's daily claims of being a rich girl, she only satisfied her pathetic vanity in front of ordinary people. Compared to real rich girls, she wasn't even worth mentioning. The reason Molly called her over today was purely to act as her assistant.
As Harper sat in Molly's car, Molly didn't even glance at her. As the car passed the overpass, Molly casually pulled out a thousand dollars from her bag and handed it to Harper, ordering, "Go, buy those broken shoes from the cobbler under the overpass."
Harper didn't understand why Molly wanted to buy broken shoes, so she stammered, "Miss Lavien, what do you need broken shoes for?"
Molly smiled leisurely, "To hang around Elizabeth's neck."
Harper was silent.
She truly admired Molly. As expected of a wealthy family's daughter, she could come up with any trick. It made Harper so excited thinking about hanging two broken shoes around Elizabeth's neck and making her parade around with them that she rubbed her hands together.
But at this moment, Harper never expected that Molly wanted her to slap Elizabeth's face hard.
Harper stammered, "Miss Lavien, do you want me to ruin this bitch's face?"
Molly said, "Of course! Slap her!"
Harper was silent, not daring to do it.
If she really ruined Elizabeth's face in public, would she go to jail?
Harper was usually arrogant and domineering, but she only engaged in minor mischief. She didn't have the guts to blatantly harm someone, even complaining in her heart about Molly, 'You have power and influence, why don't you do it yourself?'
But Harper only dared to complain internally, not daring to say it out loud.
With the eyes filled with fear, Harper didn't dare to move.
Seeing Harper like this, Molly laughed, "Look at you, so timid! Are you afraid someone will avenge her? Don't worry, in the entire Sunwillow City, no one will avenge her."
At this point, Molly's eyes, filled with high spirits, scanned the room and found that other departments had surrounded the design department tightly. It was the perfect time for her to publicly humiliate Elizabeth. She then said, "It's time for you all to know what kind of person this woman really is, what a filthy thing she is!"
As soon as Molly said this, the surrounding colleagues started whispering to each other.
"Oh my God, what kind of person is Elizabeth? From what Miss Lavien said, it seems like it's not just a fake resume and having a child. Could she be a prostitute at a construction site? Those old, ugly, and rough workers? Disgusting! Once she leaves, we need to disinfect this office." This was said by Linda.
Several female colleagues immediately chimed in.
"How could Elizabeth hide so deeply? She's putting all of us at risk!"
"Linda, she even blackmailed you for a hundred thousand dollars!"
"Beat her to death! She should be sentenced to death!"
However, there were also people outside the office who had a different opinion.
"People's words are really scary nowadays."
"Exactly, I think Elizabeth is pitiful. She just had a child out of wedlock."
"I don't think she's that bad. Ever since she joined the company, it's been Mr. Lavien who has been bothering her. She never seemed to respond to him."
"Have any of you actually seen that she's a prostitute selling herself to construction workers at the site?"
"They all are bullying her. We shouldn't get involved, because we don't have the power to intervene. Let's just say less."
These were some of the quieter discussions, but there was one person who spoke loudly.
"You people are too outrageous! Coming to the company to publicly beat someone, I'm calling the police!" This was said by Julia, who pushed through the crowd and stood protectively in front of Elizabeth, looking at Molly with both fear and courage.
"Who are you?" Molly asked Julia disdainfully.
"Julia!" Julia raised her chin. "Let me tell you, I'm not someone to mess with! I have connections too!"
"Connections?" Molly sneered. "Are you talking about the driver named Gavin who works for Alexander in the Brown family? Is Gavin your backer?"
Julia asked, "How do you know?"
Molly sneered.
She didn't answer Julia's question but instead asked Julia, "I advise you not to take the wrong side. You should first ask if Elizabeth, whom you're protecting, agrees to call the police. I told her yesterday to come here today and wait for me to teach her a lesson. Look, she obediently came today. Maybe she's even begging me to ruin her face."
Julia asked, with the eyes bulging with anger, "It's impossible! Miss Lavien, I know you're a wealthy lady from Pariz, and the Lavien Family is one of the top families, but you can't bully people like this! It was Robert who approached Elizabeth first, and Elizabeth never responded to him. Why are you bullying her like this? How can you be so heartless!"
Julia was scared, but she thought about how well she had gotten along with Elizabeth in just a month. Elizabeth treated her as a good friend, often bringing her breakfast and treating her to meals despite not having much money. Julia felt she should help Elizabeth. Could Molly really ruin Elizabeth's face in public? She didn't believe it!
Seeing Julia protecting Elizabeth so fiercely, Molly rolled her eyes and said disdainfully, "I'll cut you some slack. Considering Gavin is Alexander's driver, I won't argue with you. But you better stay away, or Elizabeth's dirty blood might splatter on you."
"I'll ask Gavin to beg Mr. Windsor to save you. I won't let anyone hurt you. Elizabeth, don't be afraid. Gavin is trusted by Mr. Windsor, I'll call right away!" Julia said, and she not only didn't leave Elizabeth but protected her even more tightly.
"No, Julia! No! Don't call." Elizabeth's eyes were a bit red, but she smiled at Julia. "Thank you, dear, thank you. Let her ruin my face, it's my choice."
Julia thought she misheard, asking, "Why?"
This "why" was the question everyone present wanted to ask.
Everyone wondered, could Elizabeth really be a bitch who seduced Molly's husband and got caught?
Elizabeth shook her head.
Molly, however, laughed wildly, "Let me tell you all. Because she, Elizabeth, is the female prisoner that the most distinguished man in Sunwillow City, Alexander, brought back from out of town!"
As soon as she said this, everyone was stunned.
