Chapter 244 Who Can Help Her?
Elizabeth was silent.
Molly didn't come because of Robert; rather, she was brought in by Clara to help.
After so long without any news from Clara, Clara finally made a move and restrained Elizabeth so tightly.
Elizabeth let out a bitter, cold laugh, just watching as the triumphant Molly left after her successful intimidation.
As soon as Molly left, the office became noisy.
"Elizabeth! Ms. Lavien is a highly respected lady in all of Pariz. Let's see how you fight back now!" Linda openly belittled Elizabeth.
"Suppressing Linda all these days, you really got what you deserved!"
"Elizabeth! Do you think you live with a millionaire? How dare you offend Ms. Lavien? Seeing you so obedient and scared now makes me feel great!"
At this moment, even Anna couldn't help Elizabeth.
She just patted Elizabeth on the shoulder and kindly said, "Elizabeth, when you're new to the workplace, you need to tone down your sharpness. You shouldn't mess around with men you shouldn't. Seeing Julia's eyes turn red from crying, Elizabeth smiled.
She had been through too much.
She was fostered as a child, imprisoned in college, and exiled for six years. These experiences had long made her a very calm person, someone who wouldn't panic even if it were the end of the world.
Elizabeth comforted Julia in return, "Alright! Look at you, your nose is all red from crying. If you cry for me like this, everyone in the company will see you. Aren't you afraid they'll come after you for openly siding with me?"
Julia shook her head, replying, "I'm not afraid."
She thought that since Gavin was Alexander's personal bodyguard, at least when trouble came, Gavin could protect her.
Julia looked at Elizabeth seriously, "Elizabeth, you're Gavin's friend. You should talk to Gavin. He drives for Alexander; maybe he can help you."
Elizabeth shook her head, replying, "No one can help me with this."
"It's because of Robert, and you didn't deliberately provoke him. Besides, you haven't even had a meal with him, and you haven't paid him any attention." Julia said.
Elizabeth shook her head, "It's not because of that. You don't understand. It's okay, let's not talk about it. Don't worry about me; I'll be fine. Also, Julia, please keep this a secret and don't tell Gavin, okay?"
Julia didn't understand, asking, "Why not tell him?"
Elizabeth shook her head, saying, "Gavin is just a driver, so he can't help me and will only bring trouble. I don't want to cause trouble, do you understand?"
Julia nodded, saying, "Okay, I'll keep it a secret."
Elizabeth and Julia walked out together and got into the elevator.
As the elevator doors closed, a group of female colleagues started gossiping.
"Oh my God, she offended Miss Lavien. She's in for it now."
"Elizabeth is so bold. Where does she get the confidence? Acting all high and mighty in such a small design company, and thinking everyone here is easy to bully? She doesn't realize that everyone here is someone she can't afford to offend. Even Harper has connections. But look at Elizabeth today, wearing that ridiculous sports outfit. "What's wrong?" Alexander asked.

Alexander was silent.
Gavin also noticed something was wrong with Elizabeth. As soon as she got out of the car, he immediately took out his phone and called Julia, "Julia, did anything happen at the company today?"

"Nothing," Gavin said.
After hanging up, he looked at Alexander, "Nothing happened, Mr. Windsor. You don't need to worry about Mrs. Windsor."
Meanwhile, Elizabeth had arrived at Alice's kindergarten. Just as she was about to call out to Alice, she heard a very unpleasant voice behind her, "Ms. Spencer, if you don't want to participate in our activities, please leave the group!"
