Chapter 217 My Wife, Elizabeth
Sarah asked, "Alexander, what did you say? You want Elizabeth to call you husband?"
Alexander gripped Sarah's wrist tightly, looking at her coldly and saying, "What's the matter? She is the mother of my daughter, and she is of course my wife."
Sarah was silent, shocked.
At this moment, Alexander's grip was so tight that it brought tears to her eyes.
"It hurts," Sarah said, her voice trembling with tears.
"She insulted you. How do you want to punish her? It's up to you," Alexander ignored Sarah and looked at Elizabeth, saying.
Elizabeth wasn't stupid. She wouldn't be used as a tool by anyone, simply saying, "I don't care."
She really didn't care.
After all, Sarah, like Debra and Odette earlier, didn't manage to teach her a lesson. Moreover, when Alexander called out Sarah's name, Elizabeth understood why she was so angry with her.
Sarah was a distant relative of Sierra.
The last time Alice came to this mansion, she had taught Sarah a lesson. Later, Elizabeth heard Alice mention that Sarah and Clara had fought, leaving both of them bloodied and in a sorry state.
Thinking of this, Elizabeth knew that Sarah must hate Alice to the core, and naturally, she also hated Elizabeth.
"You don't care, but I can't not care!" Alexander said. If he applied a bit more force, he could break Sarah's wrist.
Sarah immediately cried out, "Alexander, have mercy."
"You're begging the wrong person!" Alexander said coldly.
Sarah pleaded, "Mrs. Windsor, have mercy."
Elizabeth was silent.
Disgusting!
She didn't want to deal with these matters at all. It had nothing to do with her, and she didn't even look at Sarah.
"Continue!" Alexander said coldly again.
"Mrs. Windsor, please, have mercy on me. I'm blind, not knowing you are Mr. Windsor's wife. I offended you. Please forgive me this once, okay? I'm begging you, Mrs. Windsor." Sarah cried with a tearful face.
If she didn't plead with Elizabeth, Alexander would really break her wrist.
She might become disabled for life.
Elizabeth was silent. After a few seconds, she walked up to Alexander, saying, "Alice and I will be living in the Windsor family from now on. I don't want to make enemies everywhere. She must be your relative, right? Just let her go."
Elizabeth had no sympathy for Sarah.
If it weren't for her own situation, she wouldn't have stopped Alexander from breaking Sarah's wrist or even her neck.
But now it was different. Since Elizabeth was destined to live by Alexander's side, it was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.
"If you want to spare her, it's up to you," Alexander said, looking at Elizabeth with a hint of annoyance.
With that, he released Sarah.
He then looked at Sarah, saying, "What about those two maids?"
Sarah was stunned, "Maids?"
Debra and Odette were Sarah's most trusted maids. With them stationed at the Windsor Manor, delivering various messages to Sarah, she could live comfortably in the Windsor Manor.
This also made Sierra and Felix dote on her, their distant relative.
"Gavin!" Alexander called out.
Gavin immediately responded, "Mr. Windsor!"
"Break Debra and Odette's tendons and send them to the desert in a container!" Alexander's words were calm and indifferent.
But those familiar with Alexander's style knew the severity of his words.
He wasn't joking.
He was a man of his word, a grim reaper.
Debra and Odette knew Alexander's character well. They knew that since Alexander had brought Elizabeth back from hundreds of miles away in Collinsport, he wouldn't let Elizabeth off easily. That's why they dared to insult Elizabeth.
They never expected that Alexander would not only not punish Elizabeth but also marry her.
Debra and Odette knelt down, tears and snot streaming down their faces as they begged Alexander for mercy, "Please, Mr. Windsor, give us another chance. We won't dare to insult Mrs. Windsor again. We won't dare, Mr. Windsor. As long as you don't break our tendons and send us to the desert, we'll do anything you ask. Please."
Alexander pinched the bridge of his nose, saying nonchalantly to Gavin, "Gavin, it's early in the morning, and my head hurts from all this noise. If you keep dawdling, you won't get your salary this month?"
Gavin immediately said, "Yes, Mr. Windsor! I'll take care of it right away!"
After he finished speaking, he grabbed one in each hand and dragged Debra and Odette outside. Debra and Odette were crying loudly, their wails filled with despair.
Their cries attracted many servants, who were too scared to speak when they saw Debra and Odette being dragged away.
"Mr. Brown, please, you're Mr. Windsor's assistant. Can you plead for us? We'll serve you in the future, okay?" Debra cried pitifully, looking at Gavin.
As he dragged them out, Gavin said sympathetically, "Debra, you've worked for the Windsor family for almost ten years. The Windsor family pays better than a corporate job. Why didn't you do your job properly? Why did you insult Mrs. Windsor?"
He added, "No matter who it is, you can't humiliate someone in such a vicious way, especially since Mrs. Windsor has done nothing to you. If you insulted her once, it would be forgivable. Mrs. Windsor already let you go. But you didn't appreciate it and went to tell Sarah. Since you seek your own death, who can you blame?"
"I know I was wrong, Mr. Brown," Debra cried.
"It's too late! You had one chance, and you pushed your luck." Gavin said. With that, he quickened his pace, dragging Debra and Odette out.
Along the way, the other servants could see and hear Gavin's conversation with Debra and Odette.
They all looked at Alexander and Elizabeth, who was held by Alexander's arm, respectfully saying, "Mr. Windsor, Mrs. Windsor."
Sarah, who was equally terrified, also trembled and said, "Mr. Windsor, Mrs. Windsor."
Elizabeth was silent.
Alexander didn't look at anyone else, just holding Elizabeth with one arm and forcefully leading her into the hall.
As soon as they entered, he said to the people in the hall, "My wife, Elizabeth."
