Chapter 121 Teaching You

Alexander bent down and scooped Elizabeth into his arms, his voice dripping with sarcasm, "With all the planes and cars, don't you think you already smell bad from all the traveling? Time for a good bath."

Ignoring Elizabeth's shock and struggle, Alexander carried her straight to his bedroom.

Elizabeth had been in his bedroom six years ago, and it almost cost her life.

And now, he was taking her into his bedroom voluntarily?

Elizabeth kept struggling, pleading, "Alexander, I can bathe myself. Put me down. If you don't, I'll call the police!"

"Call the police?" Alexander sneered, "You think that'll work when you owe me millions and you're in my house? Or do you want to wake Alice up?"

Elizabeth stopped struggling, letting him carry her into the bathroom. It was large and luxurious, exuding a cold and domineering masculine aura, filled with Alexander's presence. Elizabeth suddenly blushed.

She remembered six years ago, when she was three months pregnant with Alice, she had tried to marry him.

In fact, she had never disliked him; deep down, she was particularly attached to him.

But she had never expressed this to him. For about two months, while she was taking care of Esme in the hospital, there were moments when he and she were both there, chatting with Esme. Those were the times Elizabeth felt most alive and warm.

Alexander, placing her on the counter, was about to undress her when Elizabeth nervously grabbed his wrists and pleaded, "No, please, don't."

She was really not used to being alone with him, especially in the bathroom. Given that he had tried to kill her multiple times and now had brought her back to torment her, Elizabeth felt even more uncomfortable.

Alexander asked sarcastically, "What? Playing hard to get again?"

"No, I'm not," Elizabeth said.

"Not?" Alexander asked with interest, "Six years ago, right here, you were a woman who could turn the world upside down, a powerful woman among the heirs of the upper class in Sunwillow City! Are you shy now? You're such a good actress, aren't you?"

Elizabeth looked up at Alexander with a calm, cold gaze and said, "Mr. Windsor, you've seen my daughter Alice. She looks just like you. If you do a DNA test, you'll find out she's your child. Eight years ago, I was sentenced to ten years in prison, but after just two years, I was paroled for a day under Oliver's personally signed guarantee. Someone as powerful as you should be able to find out by checking the prison records. And you should know better than I do which day you slept with a woman."

"After that night, I was sent back to prison. I thought I would spend my life in prison, but later, it was you who got me out. The Guise family had no idea! Even I didn't know why I was released. I initially thought that I had done something for the Guise family, and out of conscience, they pulled some strings to get me out."

"But I didn't expect the Guise family to replace me with Clara and take credit for it with you. And what about me? Did I sacrifice in vain? What about my innocent child? Knowing you were the father of my unborn child six years ago, shouldn't I have fought for my child? Of course, even if you knew the child was yours, you wouldn't want her because we had no feelings for each other. Even if you knew it was me that night, you might have killed me long ago, right?"

"I'm telling you this now to let you know that six years ago, my so-called power in Sunwillow City was just me being innocently dragged into your circle. Between you, Owen, and the Guise family, I was a joke and a clown. But what did I do wrong? I never seduced Owen, nor did I ever approach you."

She paused, then continued angrily, "You all played me for a fool. Pregnant and alone, how could I turn the world upside down? When you mock me, it just shows you're strong and I'm not. You think I'm a cheap woman who seduced many men? Fine, I won't run anymore."

After saying this, Elizabeth let go of his wrists. As she released her grip, she almost fell off the sink. Alexander quickly caught her by the waist, placing her back on the sink and murmured, "Six years apart, and you've learned to stand up for yourself?"

He was so close she could almost smell the tobacco on his breath—initially pungent, then overpowering and unpleasant, a scent she'd smelled on him before.

Back then, she didn't dislike this scent, and even after six years, she still felt the same. Instead, it gave her a familiar feeling of being surrounded, and a sense of being tamed after an invasion.

She looked at him like a lost fawn, shrinking back.

Alexander's voice was hoarse, "Didn't you say you wanted to marry me? Do you know what marriage entails?"

Elizabeth was speechless.

Alexander moved closer, his cold and stern face right at her nose. She shrank back, almost bending into the sink, but Alexander's large hand supported her, and his other hand reached behind her neck to keep her from falling into the water.

Her long hair fell through his fingers, entwining them.

There was an indescribable feeling.

Alexander's voice was even lower, "Marriage means being together! Doing what married couples do! Understand?"

"I don't understand," Elizabeth answered, her heart racing, feeling like it was about to jump out of her throat.

"Let me teach you," Alexander cooed and suddenly lifted her, placing her on the sink.

Elizabeth gasped, instinctively pushing him away. "What... what are you doing?"
