Chapter 320 Stunning Beauty

Alexander carried her into his bedroom and personally threw her into the bathroom.

That night, it was inevitable that they would take a bath together.

Fortunately, Alexander was always diligent in this regard.

He could get both of them cleaned up. Elizabeth struggled at first. Later, she simply let him do as he pleased.

What was the point of struggling?

They had been together for months; were there any secrets left?

From inside out, there were none.

Since that was the case, Elizabeth might as well let him do everything. It gave her peace and quiet. She closed her eyes and let him bathe her, and eventually, she didn't even know when she fell asleep.

When she woke up again, it was during his domineering invasion.

She wanted to resist.

If she overworked herself drawing up plans, wouldn't she be exhausted now?

Alexander was truly an unreasonable man!

But in this regard, the disparity between a frail woman and a physically strong man was evident.

All of Elizabeth's resistance was futile.

In the end, she stopped resisting. Not only did she stop resisting, but she also actively wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs tightly around his strong waist.

Afterward, she blushed and laughed at herself inwardly, feeling like an octopus clinging to him.

She simply turned her back to him and went to sleep.

She was so exhausted that she slept until daylight, and it was Alexander's phone ringing that woke her up.

Alexander was leaning against the headboard, taking the call. Elizabeth didn't open her eyes, but she could hear everything he said.

"Yes, it must be four days, not a day more," Alexander said.

After a few seconds, he added, "I can extend it to the banquet venue. You can deliver the shoes to the banquet venue."

For a pair of shoes?

Elizabeth opened her sleepy eyes and looked at Alexander. "It's really not necessary."

Alexander had already hung up the phone.

He was truly stubborn!

It was just a pair of shoes. Did it matter which pair she wore? Didn't he always dislike her being so conspicuous in public? Why was he making a fuss over a pair of shoes now?

Alexander was a strange man.

But who would dare defy him once he made a decision?

Elizabeth no longer insisted on her opinion.

After breakfast, the family of three went out as usual.

Seeing Elizabeth's luxury car parked in the spot, Alexander said, "Buying you a car was a waste. Are you lazy, or is your driving skill lacking?"

Elizabeth remained silent.

Probably both.

She had only learned for a few days, really afraid to drive.

"Gavin," Alexander called.

Gavin, who was about to open the car door, immediately responded, "Mr. Windsor, what can I do for you?"

"Find someone to ship her car to her hometown. It's a small town with plenty of open space. Let her practice driving there for a few days," Alexander said.

Gavin kindly reminded Alexander, "Mr. Windsor, you can rent a car in that small town."

"I don't trust the safety of rental cars!"

Gavin was silent. An eight-million-dollar car for Elizabeth to practice driving in a small town?

Was Alexander serious?

He really wanted to remind Alexander that there were quite a few cars in small towns nowadays.

However, Gavin only thought this to himself, not daring to repeatedly contradict Alexander.

"Yes, Mr. Windsor, I'll arrange the shipping," Gavin said respectfully.

Elizabeth looked at Alexander in shock. "You..."

Was he serious?

"What?" Alexander asked.

Elizabeth knew she couldn't argue with him, so she shook her head. "Nothing. If I have time when I go back home, I'll definitely practice driving."

With that, she got into the car.

An hour later, Elizabeth arrived at the company. As soon as she got out of the car, she saw Julia and Harper waiting at the entrance.

"What's going on? Why aren't you two going inside?" Elizabeth asked.

Harper and Julia both looked a bit embarrassed.

"What is it?" Elizabeth suddenly blushed.

She nervously looked herself over.

Could it be that there were visible hickeys on her neck? Just thinking about Alexander's craziness last night made Elizabeth blush.

She would have to tell him in the future to be careful about places above the neck that could be exposed.

Otherwise, it would be embarrassing if her colleagues at the company saw it!

"Stop looking. You don't have any visible hickeys. It's about me and Harper," Julia said to Elizabeth.

"What? What's going on with you two?"

Harper looked a bit shy. "Mr. Lavien invited me to your place, The Windsor Manor, for a family and friends gathering."

"And I also received an invitation from Mr. Jones," Julia raised an eyebrow.

After thinking for a moment, Elizabeth suddenly laughed. "I know why. Alexander told me to invite you two to my house. You two are my friends, so it's only natural for Robert and Simon to invite you."

Julia immediately clapped her hands. "I want to go! I've heard The Windsor Manor is as luxurious as a palace. Elizabeth, let me tell you that Gavin is so annoying. Every time I ask him what The Windsor Manor is like and if he could take some photos for me, he just walks past me with his head held high, ignoring me!"

Elizabeth laughed out loud.

Gavin didn't seem like that kind of person.

Harper looked worried. "I want to go too. I used to dream of going there, but I don't have a dress to wear. I don't even have a phone right now. I live with Julia, and you two treat me to meals every day. My salary won't be paid until the middle of next month. I think I won't go. I'll tell Mr. Lavien when I get to work."

Elizabeth grabbed Harper's hand. "I can lend you one."

Harper shook her head. "Thank you, Elizabeth. But I still won't go. I want to go home. If my parents can forgive me, I can give them my salary. They treat Elodie well, and I can understand that. After all, she has been without parents since she was little, and now the Jones Family doesn't support her anymore, so my parents dote on her. If she can't go to such a high-end event and I go, my parents will definitely blame me. Besides, I can't possibly match up to a man like Mr. Lavien, so I won't go."

Elizabeth nodded. "Alright, I respect your choice."

The three of them went upstairs, chatting and laughing.

The morning went smoothly.

Near lunchtime, Elizabeth received a call from the HR department, "Ms. Spencer, someone is here to see you."
