Elizabeth didn't even glance at Lila.
Lila, on the other hand, after her initial shock, blustered at Elizabeth, "When did you get here?"

Oliver and Lila were silent.
After a few seconds, Oliver told Lila to step aside, walked up to Elizabeth, and asked, "Where's the letter?"
Elizabeth opened a letter and handed it to Oliver.
After reading the letter, Oliver was stunned and silent.
