Chapter 170 A Pair of Paper Horns

Hearing Alice say this, Sarah was so delighted that she forgot about her foot pain, screaming with joy, "Alice, what did you say? Say it again."

Alice said earnestly, "Anyway, my dad is going to find a woman to marry and bring home as his wife. You're so nice to me, gentle, and pretty. Why not let my dad marry you so you can always be good to me?"

"That's right! Alice, listen to me. It's very important what kind of woman your dad brings home to marry. You have to live with that woman too," Sarah said, thinking this was a golden opportunity falling right into her lap.

Winning Alice's heart meant she was one step closer to entering the Windsor Manor.

Alice looked at Sarah innocently, saying, "So I want to help you get my dad."

"Alright, Alice, I will do whatever you want. I'll even treat you like my own daughter in the future," Sarah said. But in her heart, she thought, as soon as she had a child with Alexander, she would immediately discipline Alice and kick her out.

She wouldn't want someone with such inferior genes like Alice!

Alice wasn't even officially a member of the Windsor family yet, already making her run around exhausted. Sarah felt like strangling her.

On the surface, Sarah still smiled at Alice, wanting to hear what clever ideas Alice had to help her marry Alexander.

Probably just being nice to Alice, holding her, and spoiling her.

Sarah was ready for that.

"Can you help me find a big piece of drawing paper?" Alice asked.

Sarah was stunned.

What did Alice want that for?

"There's plenty of drawing paper at the Windsor Manor. If you want it, I can get it for you right away," Sarah said.

"I also want colored pens," Alice added.

Those were harder to find. There was drawing paper because Marcus liked to paint in his leisure time, and Felix often drew landscapes.

But colored pens? The Windsor family didn't have any young children, so who would use colored pens?

Even if no one used them, Sarah had a way. She immediately called over a Windsor family servant, taking out a hundred-dollar bill, and saying, "Go, buy the best colored pens for Miss Windsor right away. Get ones with lots of colors."

The servant quickly nodded, "Yes, Miss Windsor."

"Wait, I also need scissors and a stapler," Alice added.

The servant said, "Alright, Miss Windsor, I'll get everything you need." With that, she ran off.

At the foot of the hill outside The Windsor Manor was a large shopping supermarket, so the servant could buy everything quickly.

But what did Alice need all these things for?

Sarah looked at Alice, puzzled, asking, "Alice, what are you going to do with these? Can you tell me?"

Alice sweetly said to Sarah, "My great-grandfather likes me very much. If I tell him you are very nice to me, he will definitely support you marrying my dad. What I need to do now is make an eco-friendly craft for my great-grandfather with my own hands and tell him you helped me make it. How about that?"

Hearing this, Sarah was overjoyed and couldn't believe it. How could such a young child think so thoroughly? She squatted down to look at Alice, asking, "Alice, tell me, how did you come up with all this?"

Alice sweetly said, "I know I was adopted by my dad, so I hope you marry my dad and love me."

"Doesn't your dad like you?" Sarah asked.

Alice shook her head, replying, "No, he doesn't."

Sarah couldn't help but chuckle.

It would be strange if Alexander liked Alice!

Alice was just a prisoner's daughter! How could Alexander possibly love her!

Thinking this, Sarah's mind filled with more plans, she patted Alice's head, saying, "I'll help you with the craft later."

Alice shook her head, saying, "No, I need to do it alone to show my sincerity."

Sarah was silent. Alice was indeed a clever child.

Once she married Alexander, the first thing she would do was get rid of Alice!

"Alright, I'll do as you say," Sarah said.

Before long, the servant returned with a large pile of colored pens. Alice took the pens, scissors, and drawing paper, started working seriously.

Occasionally, Sarah tried to peek, but Alice covered her work, saying it was a secret and not to look.

Sarah pouted and stopped looking.

She didn't care what gift Alice was making. She just needed to find a way to please Alice. If Alice's gift didn't look good, Sarah could always blame her.

Alice was very skilled with her hands, quickly finishing the craft. Once done, she didn't show it to Sarah but neatly folded it and held it in her hand.

"I'm done," Alice said sweetly, "Take me to see my great-grandfather."

"Let's go!" Sarah reached out to hold Alice's hand, but Alice immediately pulled her hand back.

"What's wrong?" Sarah frowned.

"My mom told me there are many bad people out there."

"Did anyone tell you your mom is also a bad person?"

"My dad told me that. Is my mom a bad person?"

"Alice, your dad is right. Your mom is a terrible one. So, don't mention your mom in front of your dad. Mention me more, okay?"

Alice nodded, saying, "I understand, ma'am. You're so nice. Let's go quickly."

"Alright!" Sarah agreed, happily leading the way inside.

Alice walked in front, and Sarah followed, entering the hall where a few more people had gathered, including Declan and Clara, who had just arrived.

Seeing Alice, Clara immediately knew she was Elizabeth's daughter, the one they had just been discussing.

Clara's eyes flaring with anger, and she grabbed Alexander's arm and asked coquettishly, "Mr. Windsor, is she the child of that damned prisoner?"

Alexander remained silent, only looking at Alice.

At this moment, Alice approached Clara and sweetly asked, "Ma'am, are you my dad's fiancée?"

Clara said arrogantly, "Yes, I am."

"I have a gift for you," Alice said.

Sarah, standing behind, was silent. How could Alice change her mind so quickly? Wasn't she supposed to give the gift to Marcus? She was such a traitor!

Sarah stomped her foot in anger.

Alice still smiled at Clara, "Keep down."

Clara rolled her eyes, reluctantly squatting down. Alice immediately unfolded her craft, placing it on Clara's head with a giggle.

Everyone in the hall was stunned.

Clara's head was adorned with a pair of paper horns.
