Chapter 169 Help You Get My Dad
"What did you say?" Sarah asked, with her face changing instantly.
Alice who just couldn't stand her was still pinching her nose, looking at her with a disgusted expression.
Who allowed this woman to keep staring at Alexander!
No matter how bad Alexander was, he could only be her mom's husband. No other woman should be thinking about him.
Alice was extremely angry.
She said, "You smell too bad. Please stay away from me and my dad. If you get close to him, making him and me smell bad, when we get home, my mom will be angry. At home, both my dad and I are very afraid of my mom."
Sarah shouted angrily, "You!"
She was about to explode with anger!
She wanted to lose her temper but didn't dare.
Sarah was a distant relative of Sierra who originally didn't have many relatives. To ensure her position in the Windsor family, Sierra had to use this trick, personally selecting a woman related to her to marry Alexander. If Sarah became her daughter-in-law, she would still be the mistress of the Windsor family.
Even if Sarah had children with Alexander, they would be close to her.
Sierra's plan was very good, and the woman she found was also very willing to get close to Alexander.
However, neither Sarah nor Sierra expected that before Alexander could say anything, Alice had already taken the initiative.
"Sarah, Alice is still a child and new here. Don't scare her," Sierra said sternly to Sarah.
Sarah immediately restrained her anger.
Even so, her anger was clearly seen by Alexander. However, the usually ruthless and decisive man didn't react much at this moment because he realized that Alice, who was more combative than him, had appeared. He could save himself the trouble.
Today, he was just here to watch the show.
Alexander remained expressionless, his face cold.
To Sarah, it seemed like a hint. She had heard about Alexander six years ago, having wanted to get close to him back then. Unfortunately, her status and family background were too modest, and Alexander had a legitimate fiancée, Clara, by his side. Thus, Sarah had no chance.
Now, Sierra finally gave her an opportunity.
Although Sierra's three sons had all passed away, she had fought alongside Felix for nearly forty years. Their relationship was very good. Even though Sierra had no sons left, she was still the mistress of the Windsor family.
Now that Sierra was backing her, Sarah had to seize the opportunity!
Sarah was very observant, knowing that the Alice that Alexander brought today was the beloved child of the Windsor family.
So, even if Alice called her smelly, Sarah took it as a compliment.
She smiled at Alexander and then at Alice. "Alice, you shouldn't talk about your dad like that. You just got back to Sunwillow City with your dad, so you don't know his temper well yet. Come here, this will be your home from now on. Let me show you around the manor."
Sarah thought she was smart, sensible, and understanding.
She easily helped Alexander solve some awkward situations, much better than Clara, who hadn't arrived today.
As she spoke, Sarah reached out to take Alice's hand.
Alice was really disgusted by Sarah, who was pestering her. Sarah was even more annoying than the boys in kindergarten who tried to curry favor with her! Alice pulled her hand back, immediately hiding behind Alexander, which made Sarah's face look even worse.
Some of the guests couldn't help but cover their mouths and laugh.
Sarah was really making a fool of herself. Alexander already had a fiancée, but Clara was late today. If Declan brought Clara here later, how would Sarah handle it?
Sarah was furious at being laughed at by the guests!
Alice was just an illegitimate child!
And she was the child of that prisoner Elizabeth! If Alice hadn't gained Marcus's favor, Alexander might not even want her!
Sarah forced a smile. "Alright, I won't hold your hand. But another lady will be coming soon, and she will definitely sit next to your dad. When she drives you away, don't cry."
The lady Sarah was referring to was Clara.
At this moment, she was using Clara as an excuse.
But this tactic worked. When Alice heard this, she suddenly came out from behind Alexander, extending her hand to Sarah and saying. "Alright, take me to play then."
Sarah was overjoyed!
Sierra was also pleasantly surprised, saying, "Sarah, take Alice around, but don't take too long. If you do, Marcus will miss her."
Sarah nodded, answering, "I understand, Sierra."
With that, Sarah took Alice's hand, and started to walk out. She didn't forget to look at Alexander, saying, "Alexander, don't worry. I'll take good care of Alice."
As long as she had a chance, she would make Alice like her. If Alice liked her, Alexander would naturally consider making her Alice's stepmother. After she married him, and had her own children, she could then teach Alice a lesson.
Sarah took Alice out of the hall and into the yard.
Seeing the yard full of flowers, trees, and a swimming pool, which was almost as big as a park, Alice was ecstatic, running around and playing. Her little legs were quick and nimble, leaving Sarah, who was wearing high heels, almost twisting her ankle several times.
"Alice, don't run so fast," Sarah panted out the words.
Alice turned back, smiling at her. "Do you like my dad?"
Sarah was silent.
"Come here," Alice said, blinking at Sarah.
Sarah immediately hobbled over to Alice, asking, "What's the matter?"
"I can help you get my dad," Alice smirked.
