Chapter 249 Smash Her Face
Elizabeth didn't need to turn around to know it was Molly.
She had thought it through that she might not have other skills, but she was good at playing dead.
No matter how much Molly hit or scolded her, she would play dead.
Elizabeth didn't have high demands, just wanting to stay alive and watch Alice grow up.
"You know you're going to die, so you're not afraid of anything," Molly said as she approached Elizabeth. Behind her were Joseph, the director, and Anna, all looking at Elizabeth with displeasure.
The entire design department held their breath.
Even the female colleagues who had always given Elizabeth a hard time were scared at this moment, feeling that something big was about to happen.
The male colleagues were even more nervous for Elizabeth.
At this moment, Molly spoke again, "Your colleagues must be wondering why you're so scared of me and why you don't dare to resist, why you come when I call."
After speaking, Molly looked at all the colleagues present.
Their eyes told Molly they all wanted to know the reason.
Then, Joseph spoke up, "Elizabeth! Your resume, your education, your work experience, are they all fake?"
Elizabeth calmly admitted, "Yes."
"You used to be a construction worker?" Joseph asked again.
"Yes."
Joseph and Anna were silent, as well as the entire design department.
Linda suddenly opened her mouth wide, with her eyes widening, saying, "Elizabeth! You bitch! You're such a fraud! You were just a construction worker! A construction worker is my boss! You're despicable!"
Molly calmly smiled at Linda, "Calm down! If you're not calm now, won't you be even more shocked later?"
Linda immediately smiled lightly, "Okay, thank you, Miss Lavien, for standing up for us. Elizabeth has been causing trouble since she got here. She's a fraud, didn't even go to college, such a person should be sent to jail!"
Molly suddenly laughed and looked at Elizabeth, jeering, "Did you hear that? They want to send you to jail. Are you familiar with that place?"
Elizabeth was silent.
Even though she had decided to endure whatever insults Molly threw at her, she still teared up at this moment.
If it weren't for Alice, she would have taken a knife and gone on a rampage against everyone who had wronged her.
What did she do wrong!
Elizabeth bit her lip to hold back her tears, still looking calm on the surface.
After calming herself, Elizabeth quietly asked, "Molly, have you decided to ruin me today?"
Molly smiled calmly, "I am going to ruin you, but not today. If I ruin you in one day, it wouldn't be fun. Today is just the first step. Depending on your behavior and cooperation, if you're good and make me happy, I'll find a good place for your daughter."
"Oh my God! Elizabeth has a daughter?"
"Such a bitch! Hiding it so well!"
"A bitch! She even seduced several of our male colleagues. I seriously suspect she has had sexual relations with some of them. You guys should go to the hospital and check for STDs!" Linda said maliciously.
Linda was the one who hated Elizabeth the most in the company, besides Harper.
Several male colleagues, Kieran, Anthony, Aaron, and Austin, looked at each other, all about to explode with anger.
They all liked Elizabeth, not in a romantic way, but because they found her quiet and pitiful yet strong. When she first joined the company, she was targeted by Harper, but she quietly dealt with Harper. Despite being ostracized by Linda, she still helped Linda with her problems and confidently became Linda's boss.
Logically, Elizabeth was the first girl in the company to be favored by Robert. Any other female employee would have eagerly accepted Robert's advances, even if not to be his girlfriend, to build connections. But Elizabeth never had any private interactions with Robert.
Was Molly blind?
It was Robert who approached Elizabeth; why didn't she go home and deal with Robert first?
Although these four male colleagues thought this, they didn't dare to say anything at this critical moment.
The youngest, Austin, a recent college graduate intern, wanted to speak several times but stopped each time.
At this moment, Elizabeth looked at Molly, who smiled leisurely, knowing that Molly was confident to ruin her.
Biting her lip, Elizabeth took out her phone and dialed a number. Molly didn't expect this move, first stunned, then sneered, "Elizabeth, you really want to be taught a lesson!"
On the other end, Alexander had just gotten off a plane and was on his way to Pariz Hospital. He had always been reluctant to visit Declan in Pariz because he didn't want to anger him to death. Now that Declan's condition had improved and he was recuperating, Alexander chose this time to visit.
After all, Declan's illness was initially caused by Alice. It wouldn't be right for Alexander not to visit Declan.
On the way, he received a call from Elizabeth and immediately asked, "What's up?"
On the other end, Elizabeth gently asked, "I want to know, if I'm good and obedient, will you treat Alice better?"
Alexander snorted coldly, "Of course."
Elizabeth said, "I understand."
With that, she hung up the phone.
On the other end, Alexander stared at his phone for a few seconds, still sneering in his heart, 'You act good and obedient, but when have you ever truly been good and obedient!'
After silently complaining, he put down his phone and closed his eyes to rest, thinking about how to handle the meeting with Declan.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth, who had made up her mind, calmly looked at Molly, saying, "Alright, as long as you're happy."
Molly said, "Very good!"
With that, she clapped her hands towards the door, asking, "Harper, come in."
Harper immediately walked in, holding two very dirty and broken shoes.
"Harper, didn't this bitch injure your hip a few days ago? Now's your chance for revenge. Use these shoes to smash her face," Molly said with a grin.
