Chapter 130 Alice Holds Up Alexander

Back then, Clara's face was twisted with indignation. She forced a smile and looked at Alexander awkwardly, blurting out, "Alexander, come on, I was the one who carried your child and saved your life. My grandfather's family is super powerful now. Don't you think I'm worthy of you?"

Alexander, with a blank expression, simply said, "No."

Clara pressed, "But why?"

Alexander sneered, "Our marriage was wrecked by Elizabeth. In Sunwillow City, no one dares to mess with my wedding. Since Elizabeth pulled that stunt, I have to capture her alive. I won't get married until I do!"

Clara, falling silent, relayed Alexander's words to Oliver and Lila. The family speculated that Alexander might not want to kill Elizabeth but was waiting because she was pregnant.

They figured Alexander was half-convinced by Elizabeth's words and wanted to wait until she gave birth. If the child was his, the Guise family would still be in trouble.

But that was just a guess.

After that, Alexander's men spread the word everywhere that they wanted Elizabeth alive.

If she resisted, they'd kill her on the spot.

The Guise family was convinced Alexander was dead set on killing Elizabeth!

From that day on, Oliver and Lila frequently hired mercenaries to hunt down Elizabeth.

But for six years, every time they got a lead on her, she had already gotten wind of it and escaped before they arrived.

In those six years, Oliver spent millions on cold-blooded killers, but they never found a trace of Elizabeth.

In the end, it was Alexander who brought Elizabeth back.

Privately, they figured Alexander wouldn't let anyone else kill Elizabeth because he hated her the most and wanted to torture her himself.

When Alexander brought Elizabeth and Alice to visit the ailing Marcus, the Guise family was stunned to see how much Alice resembled Alexander.

However, the Guise family wasn't worried. They had Declan backing them up now and weren't afraid of what Alexander might do.

Instead, they were concerned about Elizabeth. Alexander brought her back, surely to torture her to death.

But Clara felt very uncomfortable. After six years, she, the perfect fiancée, still hadn't been able to live with Alexander, while Elizabeth had already beaten her to it.

At that moment, Clara was so jealous of Elizabeth that she wished she could scratch her face with her nails.

However, Clara only thought about it, not daring to do it in reality.

Because she had secretly come to Alexander's house, she couldn't beat Elizabeth outside Alexander's house and let Alexander know.

Clara could only temporarily suppress her hatred, thinking of another way to teach Elizabeth a lesson.

Seeing Elizabeth's stunned expression, Clara said smugly and arrogantly, "Still hung up on Simon from six years ago, Elizabeth? Do you know my grandfather was almost infuriated to death because of you and Simon? If you show up in front of my grandfather now, what do you think he'll do to you?"

Elizabeth sneered, "Clara, whether your grandpa is powerful or not has nothing to do with me. If I'm not messing with Simon, what can Declan Jones do to me? No matter how powerful he is, he can't break the law, right? Trying to scare me with him? Do you really think I'm that easy to scare?"

Clara laughed even louder. "Elizabeth, my grandpa's got former subordinates all over the country, many of them working at the border. If he gets mad and sends you there, do you know what'll happen to you? In those lawless places, full of arms dealers and all kinds of desperados, you'd be tied to a tree without any clothes. Every day, hundreds of people would line up to rape you until you die of exhaustion or illness!"

Elizabeth involuntarily shivered.

Seeing Elizabeth like this, Clara became even more smug.

But Elizabeth only shivered for a moment, then sneered, "It doesn't matter. As long as your grandpa can take me away, let him. Clara, you're just talking big here. Do you know what you look like? Like a kid who can't win a fight and can only boast, very pathetic! Sorry! Your fiancé, right? I got him first! Goodbye!"

After saying that, Elizabeth went inside.

She was originally going to find Alice, but now that Clara was blocking the way, Elizabeth had to go back and hide.

However, as soon as she entered the house, she got a call from a landline number she didn't recognize. After hesitating for a moment, she answered, "Hello, who is this?"

"Mom." On the other end, it was Alice's cautious, very soft voice.

"Alice, is that you? Where are you? Tell Mommy where you are quickly?" Elizabeth's tears fell instantly, and she cried out.

On the other end, Alice's voice was very soft, "Mom, keep your voice down. Are you feeling better now? That bad guy said you were unwell and had to stay in bed to get better, so I didn't dare call you this morning. Mom, can you walk now?"

Elizabeth wiped her tears, replying, "Mommy is fine now, Alice. Tell Mommy, where are you?"

Alice still spoke very softly, "I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to follow the bad guy to work this morning. I wanted to protect you. I'm watching the bad guy in the big company now. He's very busy, having no time to go home. Mom, you should run. I'll hold him off. When I went out with the bad guy this morning, I had already thought about it. I'll hold him off so you can run."

Being silent, Elizabeth was crying uncontrollably.

No!

She couldn't run!

Even if she had to die, she would die with Alice.

"Alice, you're at Alexander's company, right?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, Mom," Alice said bravely.

"Okay, Alice, you hold off Alexander. Mommy will run now," Elizabeth coaxed Alice.

After hanging up the phone, she immediately ran out in a hurry. The servants behind her couldn't stop her. She ran out of the elevator, out of the community, and was about to hail a taxi when two people forcibly dragged her into a black car.

Elizabeth looked closely and asked in horror, "What do you want?"
