Chapter 333 The Urgent Matter

Ursa turned around and saw that it was Simon.

Ursa immediately put on a smile and called out, "Simon, Elodie already knows she was wrong. She's been punished enough. Could you please talk to Mr. Windsor and ask him to stop punishing her?"

Simon looked at Ursa coldly. "Mrs. Williams, you haven't answered my question."

Ursa asked, "What did you just say?"

Simon asked again, "I said, do you remember your daughter's birthday?"

Without thinking, Ursa said, "Of course I remember; it's in December."

She stopped halfway through her sentence.

Then she paused and corrected herself, "It's June 6th."

Simon sneered.

Ursa asked nervously, "Mr. Jones, why are you asking this? My daughter is well taken care of by us. She's living a good life. You don't need to worry about her; you should be worried about your cousin, Elodie. She has had a tough life. She lost her parents when she was young. She's not like Harper, who has parents to love her. She has nothing."

"Is that so?" Simon sneered again. "I've watched Elodie grow up, and I've never seen her suffer. She lived a wealthy life at the Jones Mansion, and now at the Williams Villa. Even though she doesn't have a noble status anymore, she's still taking up Harper's parents. Harper has parents, but now she is homeless!"

Ursa was silent.

"You two are quite strange. You love your niece a hundred times more than your own daughter."

Ursa immediately forced a smile, "We think Elodie..."

Before she could finish, Simon had already gone inside.

Ursa stood at the company entrance, unable to speak for a long time.

Seeing that waiting for Harper was hopeless, Ursa turned and left.

Rhys, who was waiting in the shadows, asked, "Did you find Harper?"

Ursa shook her head, saying, "Harper is lucky now. The heir of the Jones Family is on her side, and Mr. Windsor's wife is also on her side. She's too arrogant now. This won't do; you need to think of something."

Rhys sighed.

After lunch, Rhys and Ursa quietly arrived outside the Jones Mansion, waiting outside the mansion for two hours until Declan woke up from his nap, and they were finally able to meet him.

Declan didn't have much of an impression of Rhys and Ursa. "Who are you, distant relatives of the Jones Family? I've instructed the servants to take care of the relatives. Who are you?"

"Mr. Jones, we are Elodie's uncle and aunt."

"Elodie." Hearing Elodie's name, Declan sat up. "I must be getting old; I forgot. Quickly, get them some coffee."

Rhys immediately said humbly, "Mr. Jones, Elodie's bank card has been frozen by Alexander. He also doesn't allow her to live at the Jones Mansion or let her aunt, your daughter-in-law, help her. How can Elodie, a girl who has been pampered since childhood, survive now?"

Declan said with guilt, "Elodie grew up in the Jones Mansion. I always treated her like my own granddaughter. I've been sick recently and was in Pariz. When I came back, I was busy with Clara's matters and forgot about Elodie."

Overall, Declan was a reasonable old man, especially when it came to children. He always took care of his relatives' children.

Hearing Declan say this, Rhys and Ursa exchanged a smile.

"Mr. Jones, Mr. Windsor has been influenced by his wife. He doesn't allow Elodie to date Owen or have any contact with the noble circles of Sunwillow City. Elodie is now isolated and helpless. Elizabeth not only isolates her but also lured our daughter Harper over to use her. Elizabeth has introduced Harper to a boyfriend, who seems to be the youngest heir of the Lavien Family." Ursa looked at Declan with great concern.

Declan was shocked, asking, "What! Robert is also involved with that woman Elizabeth?"

Rhys and Ursa quickly nodded.

Declan slammed his hand on the table, shouting, "Elizabeth is getting more and more complicated! I understand exactly what you mean! Frankly, no matter how bad the heir of the Lavien Family is, he would never marry your daughter. If Elodie married Robert, it would be possible. She matches Robert in every aspect. But your daughter? What's her name?"

"Harper," Ursa said with a smile.

"Right, Harper. What does she have? She grew up in a poor environment. How could Robert be interested in her?" Declan's tone was not sarcastic; he was just stating the facts.

Rhys and Ursa nodded in agreement, replying, "Yes, Mr. Jones, you're right. That's exactly what we think."

Then Rhys pleaded, "We are afraid the heir of the Lavien Family will harm Harper, and we think Elodie shouldn't suffer such grievances. We had no choice but to come to you, Mr. Jones. Since you watched Elodie grow up, you must stand up for her. If you don't care for her, she really has no way out."

Declan said righteously, "Elizabeth! She is really not to be underestimated! From six years ago until now, she has been stirring up the entire upper circle of Sunwillow City, maybe even earlier, perhaps even before she went to prison. She is really something. To this day, her conspiracy is almost succeeding."

"If we don't stop her now, will she even spare Alexander next? Her intentions are now clear. She wants to take control of Sunwillow City by taking down Alexander and then use Harper to take down Robert in Pariz. She wants to control both Sunwillow City and Pariz. I will never let her succeed!"

"Alexander must be Clara's fiancé! And Robert of the Lavien Family, since Owen doesn't want to marry Elodie, then introduce her to Robert!"

"That's what I say!"

Ursa immediately laughed with joy, "That's wonderful!"

They left the Jones Mansion, eager to fly to Elodie and tell her the good news.

Inside, Declan took out his phone and dialed a number, "Elizabeth is too despicable! Getting rid of her is now an urgent matter!"
