Harper hesitated, saying, "I don't have money to buy a new dress." She mainly didn't have a gown.
"I'll buy the dress for you!" a voice said from behind.
"Mr. Lavien?" Harper turned around to see Robert.
Robert winked at Harper and then looked at Elizabeth, saying, "Elizabeth, Gideon was supposed to come from Pariz to attend your gathering. You don't know that he and Alexander are very close. But he has military duties and can't make it, so he specifically asked me to attend. Elizabeth, you know me; I never randomly date anyone. Suddenly having to attend your family gathering, I don't even have a date. I asked Miss Williams to be my date, but she refused. Elizabeth, you and Miss Williams are close friends. Elizabeth was silent.

Seeing them laugh so heartily, Robert made a quick decision, "Julia, Simon will take care of your dress. Harper, I'll handle your dress. If Elodie dares to trouble you, I'll make sure she can't even beg for a living!"
Harper asked, "What?"
"You must come with me to the Windsor Manor banquet," Robert said and left.
Harper was stunned for a long time.
A colleague behind her envied her, saying, "Harper, haven't you always admired Mr. Lavien? Now that he's so fond of you, shouldn't you be happy?"
Harper blushed and smiled, "Yes, I am."
"Bitch! I didn't know you were so vicious!" A woman suddenly rushed up to Harper and slapped her.
