Chapter 210 Eating the Lunch Made by His Own Wife

The woman who saw Elizabeth was an employee at Elizabeth's company, named Ruby Lawson, who worked in the HR department.

Ruby usually had a close relationship with Linda.

"Do you know her?" Ruby's boyfriend, Trevor Wright, asked Ruby.

"She's a new designer at our company. Don't be fooled by the fact that she's only been here for two weeks; she's already a company celebrity," Ruby said with jealousy and disdain in her voice.

Trevor, however, spoke matter-of-factly, "She doesn't look like an ordinary person. Otherwise, why would such a big driving school clear the grounds just for her?"

"Is she really that impressive? She's just caught Mr. Lavien's eye. What's the big deal? But the man teaching her to drive doesn't look like Mr. Lavien. He isn't that tall," Ruby said, unable to see Alexander's face from a distance. Even if she could, she wouldn't recognize him.

She just assumed that Alexander, dressed in casual clothes, must be an instructor.

Trevor nudged Ruby, saying, "Come on, Mr. Lavien, a billionaire, wouldn't be here as an instructor. Of course, he's not Mr. Lavien; he's definitely an instructor here. What's so strange about that?"

"He's probably the person in charge here. Otherwise, he wouldn't have the authority to clear the entire school for her," Ruby analyzed.

Trevor said, "You might be right."

"How did Elizabeth become entangled with the driving school instructor? She is really a bitch. First, she had an affair with Harper's brother-in-law, and now it's this driving school instructor. With so many lovers outside, she still pretends to be pure in front of Mr. Lavien. The worst part is, she has only been here a few days, already taking Linda's position. I should take a picture of her, showing it to Mr. Lavien." Ruby said jealously.

"Don't cause trouble. Taking her picture without permission is an invasion of privacy!" Trevor reminded.

"I'll just take a picture of her back; you can't see her face," Ruby said, taking out her phone to snap a photo.

After taking the picture, she left with Trevor.

Elizabeth and Alexander, who were practicing reversing, didn't notice that Ruby had secretly taken their photo.

Alexander had spent several years in the special forces, enduring all kinds of hardships, including going days without food while camping in the forest.

But Elizabeth couldn't handle it.

When she was pregnant with Alice, she developed a stomach condition due to malnutrition, and since then, she would feel uncomfortable if she didn't eat on time. It was already 1 PM, but Alexander still hadn't mentioned anything about eating.

"I don't want to practice anymore," Elizabeth said, finally giving up.

"No!" Alexander said in a tone that brooked no argument.

"I'm hungry. I need to eat," Elizabeth said defiantly.

Alexander instinctively looked at the sun and then at his watch, realizing it was indeed past noon.

"Have you learned enough?" Alexander asked.

Driving wasn't hard to learn. With a morning of intensive training, he could teach her.

Sure enough, Elizabeth nodded, saying, "Almost."

"Let's go back," Alexander said.

Elizabeth finally relaxed, grabbing his arm and asking, "Can we go home to eat? I don't want to eat out."

The food outside was not good, she was especially tired from the driving practice.

She just wanted to go home quickly, eating the food Mia made, taking a bath, and getting a good sleep.

Alexander nodded, agreeing quickly, "Okay."

Even if she hadn't said it, Alexander knew she was tired. If she wanted to go home, they would go home.

However, when they got home, it wasn't as Elizabeth had hoped. There was no food at home. By the time they arrived, it was already 2:30 PM. Normally, Mia would be at home cleaning at this time.

But today, she wasn't there.

A phone call revealed that Mia was at the amusement park with Alice.

When Alexander called, Mia was anxious, saying, "Mr. Windsor, I didn't know you were coming home for lunch today. You didn't tell me when you left. Gavin said you and Mrs. Windsor wouldn't be back for lunch, so he called me to accompany Miss Windsor, saying Miss Windsor needed a female companion when she went to the restroom."

"Got it. Take good care of Alice," Alexander said briefly.

After that, he called Gavin who was helping Alice down a spiral slide when he saw Alexander's call. He answered cheerfully, "Mr. Windsor, how did I do today? Shouldn't you praise me? Am I considerate? I know you'd be out all day."

Before Gavin could finish, Alexander cut him off, "Find a chef as soon as possible so Mia can have some time off."

"Yes, Mr. Windsor! I'll get it done. How much do you want to pay the chef?" Gavin asked.

"The salary will come out of your pocket. Pay whatever you want," Alexander said coldly.

Gavin fell silent.

Alexander had already hung up.

"You cook," Alexander said, turning to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was taken aback, asking, "What?"

"You cook!" Alexander repeated.

Elizabeth was silent. He wanted her to cook?

She didn't have Mia's skills. At most, she could make pasta because she ate it often as a child, learning to make it as she grew up.

In the past few years in Collinsport, Samuel often cooked, so her cooking skills were just passable.

But did Alexander mind?

Elizabeth asked, "Will you eat what I cook?"

Alexander gave her an annoyed look, asking, "Didn't I eat it six years ago? If I don't eat what my wife cooks, whose food should I eat?"

Elizabeth's face turned red with embarrassment, she ran into the kitchen.

The fridge was well-stocked, but she didn't know how to make most of the dishes like chicken soup, steak, or foie gras.

She opted for some simple ingredients, preparing a basic meal.

Soon, she finished cooking, bringing the food out that looked quite appetizing.

"Did you make this?" Alexander asked in disbelief.

Elizabeth nodded, saying, "Yes." She thought the food looked decent.

Alexander took a bite, stunned.
