Chapter 100 Liking Her Body
Josephine applied her skincare products, then dragged her weary legs back to the bed and collapsed.
She didn't want to move at all.
Stuart clung to her again, like a large pendant, not leaving her side.
Josephine couldn't stand it anymore and asked him, "Don't you need to go to the office?"
Stuart replied, "No."
Josephine asked, "You've been on a business trip for several days; aren't you worried about the company?"
"Not worried?" Stuart turned her face towards him. He questioned, "How did you come to that conclusion?"
"Weren't you abroad?" Josephine turned away again, not looking at him. She mocked, "Living it up, where would you find the time to manage the company?"
"Don't spread rumors." Stuart pinched her chin, forcing her to look at him. He explained, "I was working hard day and night abroad, and I was still handling the company's affairs. How could Mrs. Haustia say I was living it up?"
Stuart naturally wouldn't admit why he went abroad; Josephine didn't intend to clarify it with him.
Both had mentioned divorce; Josephine didn't want to know about anything else.
Knowing wouldn't change anything.
It would be like rubbing salt into her wounds.
She was hopelessly in love with Stuart. If she had to hear how much Stuart cared about another woman, wouldn't that just make her unhappy?
She had already come to terms with it and wouldn't do anything to make herself suffer anymore.
As for having sex with Stuart, she didn't want to. But she couldn't resist Stuart.
Besides, making love was genuinely pleasurable.
After the divorce, even if she found another man, he might not have Stuart's assets and skills.
In terms of pleasing a woman, Josephine thought no one could match Stuart's abilities.
If he were to become a gigolo,
With his looks and physique, he could drive women crazy.
Plus, he was skilled.
Realizing what she was thinking, Josephine couldn't help but bury her face in the blanket.
She felt she had been led astray by Laura.
These past few days, Laura had been nagging in her ear, telling her to find a new man, and to make sure he was skilled.
Now Josephine couldn't help but think about it.
"What are you thinking about?" Stuart asked as he pressed against her, kissing her earlobe. "Speak!"
Josephine certainly wouldn't tell him her true thoughts.
She said, "I was thinking, Mr. Haustia has a lot to do; it must be hard."
"That little mouth of yours." Stuart stared at her. He said, "Other than kissing, don't use it for anything else."
After saying that, he kissed her.
Josephine's earlier words were, of course, not a compliment, nor did she genuinely think he was working hard.
He could still hear the sarcasm and mockery in her tone.
Although he didn't know why Josephine thought he was living it up, it didn't matter.
What mattered was that he had really missed Josephine's body these past few days.
"Did you put some kind of aphrodisiac on yourself?" Stuart kissed her neck again. He asked, "Or did you spray some addictive perfume?"
Josephine really didn't want to make love with him again; she was exhausted.
"Yes, I specifically use sex to harm men," Josephine said, "Just wait to die."
"What a ruthless seductress." Stuart laughed. He teased, "Last night wasn't enough; come harm me again."
Josephine immediately backed off. She pleaded, "I'm tired, let me rest."
Stuart was displeased. He questioned her, "I'm the one doing all the work; why are you tired?"
Josephine glared at him. She dared, "If you have the guts, don't move my legs!"
One moment he would fold her legs down, the next moment he would put them on his shoulders, and then press them against her shoulders. Was she made of springs?
Even springs would lose their elasticity after such treatment.
Stuart raised an eyebrow. He said, "Then you lie down."
Josephine angrily pulled the blanket over herself, wrapping herself inside.
She could hear Stuart laughing, his entire chest vibrating.
Josephine knew he was holding her, which was why she could feel it.
Even closer, she could hear his heartbeat.
He was laughing, but Josephine's tears fell without her knowing why.
Stuart was always attached to making love with her.
However, she wasn't.
She wanted his heart more.
But she knew that was a luxury.
"Are you mad?" Stuart's voice came from outside.
Putting everything else aside, at this moment, they seemed like an ordinary couple.
Having just experienced a moment of intimacy, laughing and joking.
However, reality was always so cruel.
What she wanted, Stuart never intended to give.
She shook her head; because she was under the blanket, her voice was a bit muffled. She replied, "No, I want to sleep."
"Go ahead and sleep," Stuart, satisfied after making love, said, "When you wake up, we'll go back to the Haustia Manor."
At the mention of this, Josephine threw off the blanket. She asked hastily, "What did you tell Mr. Andrew Haustia?"
Stuart looked at her and smiled. He replied, "I said we hadn't seen each other for a long time, and you wanted to spend some time alone with me, so we wouldn't be going back tonight."
Josephine grabbed the pillow next to her and threw it at him. She said angrily, "Stuart! You bastard!"
Stuart caught the pillow. He teased, "Idiot, I was kidding. How could I say that to Grandpa?"
"Who knows if you did or didn't!" Josephine gritted her teeth. She retorted, "You may not care about your reputation, but I do!"
Stuart said, "Strange, we're a married couple, haven't seen each other for so long, is making love wrong?"
Josephine didn't want to deal with him at all. She took a deep breath to suppress her anger and then said, "Stuart, don't touch me again!"
Stuart raised an eyebrow, a smile appearing in his eyes.
He was handsome, and when he smiled, he looked even more youthful.
He used to be a noble young man.
Josephine didn't know why, but she suddenly felt shy. She glared at him and pulled the blanket over herself to sleep.
Stuart was about to hold her and rest for a while, after all, they hadn't slept much last night.
His phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, he answered.
The room was very quiet, and they were close, so Josephine heard Doris's voice.
"Stuart, you're back?" Doris's voice was gentle. "Did you rest well last night? Are you not coming to the office today?"
Stuart had gone straight to Clement Hospital after getting off the plane, grabbed Josephine, and went to bed, completely forgetting about Doris.
He pinched the bridge of his nose. He simply replied,"No, I'm not going."
Doris said, "You've worked so hard these past few days, you must be exhausted. Rest well at home. Will you come tomorrow? I haven't seen you for days, I... I miss you."
Stuart replied, "I'll go tomorrow. The gift I got for you is with Ronald; go get it from him."
Doris said, "I don't want any gifts, I just want you to be well and not so tired, or I'll be heartbroken."
After a few more words, Stuart hung up.
Josephine lay there expressionless, not opening her eyes, only her eyelashes trembling slightly.
Stuart dialed another number. "Go buy a gift for Doris, anything will do. She'll come to get it from you later, just say it's from abroad."
He hung up and asked Josephine, "Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something before sleeping?"
Josephine opened her eyes and looked at him. She said sarcastically, "What, Mr. Haustia is so busy that he doesn't even have time to buy a gift for his mistress?"
