Chapter 204 Don't Insult the Term "Pure".

How could these two even think of beating Stuart? Before they got close, Stuart kicked one to the ground.

Seeing the huge gap in strength, the two men stayed put, clutching their injuries and groaning.

Laura said, "Stuart, you come here and hurt people. Are you trying to steal customers?"

Stuart looked at Josephine. "Josephine, tell me, how am I worse than them?"

Josephine replied, "They're just trying to make money. You, Mr. Haustia, have a noble status. Why stoop to their level?"

She checked on the injured men and only relaxed when she saw they were okay.

Seeing this, Stuart got angrier. "They are capable people. Why do they do such degrading work?"

Louis, the guy Laura picked, snapped, "If it's degrading, why are you competing with us?"

Stuart, holding onto his pride, didn't want to engage but finally lost it. "Who do you think you are? She's my wife!"

He pointed at Josephine.

The two men were stunned, thinking, 'Wife? They're married? What are they doing here then? For fun?'

Josephine coldly said, "Mr. Haustia, we've been divorced for five years. Don't talk nonsense."

Louis chimed in, "I knew it! No wonder you're so desperate! With your attitude, no wonder Ms. Kalmien doesn't want you!"

Laura laughed. "Oh my, you're quite sharp with your words. I like it!"

Louis moved closer to her. "Laura, I've been hit. You have to stand up for me!"

Stuart felt disgusted. 'A grown man acting like that, isn't he ashamed?'

Just as Stuart was about to kick him again, the door to the private room opened. Everyone looked over.

The two men thought it was their boss coming to back them up.

But instead, a tall man, just as imposing as Stuart, walked in.

Stuart frowned. "Steven? What are you doing here?"

Stuart was surprised, while Josephine immediately looked at Laura.

Steven was Robin's uncle, but his relationship with the Bailey family was complicated, and he hadn't been in Hustalia for years.

Steven had a rugged look, fierce and intimidating just standing there.

Josephine thought, 'He really is like Otis, but even fiercer.'

Seeing him, Laura's expression changed; she gritted her teeth. "What are you doing here?"

Though Steven was Robin's uncle, he was only two years older than Robin and five years older than Laura.

He wasn't as refined and handsome, but he had his own charm.

Especially with his imposing presence, it was clear he wasn't an ordinary person.

Being scolded by Laura didn't bother Steven; he was used to it.

She could scold him all she wanted, but it was a bit much to be out partying.

No matter what Laura said, Steven ignored her, walked over, and picked her up to leave.

Laura's fierce words and punches were useless against Steven's silence.

Before leaving, Steven said to Josephine, "I'm taking her. Need any help?"

Josephine shook her head. "Laura, I'll contact you later."

Still struggling in Steven's arms, Laura said, "Stay here. I've paid, so enjoy yourself!"

Steven lightly patted her butt. "Laura, stop it." Then he looked at Stuart. "Sorry for the interruption. Please continue."

He carried Laura out.

Josephine had only heard about Robin's uncle but never met him. Steven rarely came to Hustalia.

She'd heard Steven was well-connected in both legal and illegal circles. Seeing how he treated Laura, Josephine felt happy for her.

With Laura gone, Stuart felt less pressure.

He looked at Josephine. "See, no one thinks this is a good place. Let's leave, okay?"

Josephine replied, "Even if we weren't divorced, did I ever stop you from going to such places? Now that we're divorced, what I do has nothing to do with you, right?"

Josephine was dragged here by Laura and wasn't interested in these places either. She felt embarrassed watching Laura tease the young men. But now that she was single, she could do whatever she wanted.

Stuart got anxious. "What's so good about this place? Can you really be interested in those ordinary men?"

The young man from earlier was furious. "Who are you calling ordinary? We're all men; who do you think you are? You don't even possess the skills we have! If you want to pursue someone, at least have some decency. What kind of skill is it to belittle us?"

In front of Josephine, Stuart didn't want to argue. He still looked at her. "Even if we're not together anymore, I can't watch you degrade yourself. I used to go to such places, but I always kept myself pure, and you know that."

Josephine raised her hand to stop him. "Don't insult the term 'pure.' Think about why we got divorced."

Stuart fell silent. Their divorce was triggered by Doris, catalyzed by Donna, and ignited by Angela.

After all the commotion caused by Stuart and with Laura gone, Josephine didn't want to stay either. But with Stuart here, she didn't want to leave just to please him.

Josephine said, "Mr. Haustia, please leave. I'm willing to degrade myself, and I like ordinary men. Please don't interfere with their work; it's quite unethical."

Stuart was about to faint from anger. "I'm unethical? And what they're doing is ethical?"

The young man Laura had chosen angrily said, "We're earning money with our skills. How is that unethical?"

Stuart sneered. "What skills do you have?"

Louis tore open his shirt, revealing broad shoulders and well-defined chest muscles. He pulled out the hem of his shirt and lifted it to show Josephine his abs.

"Ms. Kalmien, would you like to touch them? They say they feel pretty good," Louis said with a smile.

Stuart grabbed a tablecloth and threw it over Louis, covering him completely. "With that body, you dare to show off!"

Louis pulled off the tablecloth and angrily said, "You're so great but still got divorced!"
