Chapter 433 Tie the Knot
Josephine and Stuart picked up Andrew.
Andrew actually needed to rest; at his age, doctors no longer recommended long journeys.
Fortunately, Hustalia was not far from Celestia Springs, and the car was very comfortable, allowing Andrew to lie down.
Moreover, Andrew was thrilled to see Jeffery, whom he hadn't seen in a long time.
As they neared Celestia Springs, Josephine called Gerald to have him bring Jeffery over in advance.
So, when Andrew arrived at Celestia Springs, he was warmly welcomed by Jeffery.
Jeffery held a bouquet of flowers, and they shared a big hug.
Gerald didn't leave; he stayed to greet Andrew.
Andrew had heard of Gerald before, and today, Gerald was introduced as Josephine's elder brother.
Seeing Gerald's steady and reliable demeanor, and his concern for Josephine and Jeffery, Andrew was completely reassured.
After greeting Andrew and leaving the gifts he brought, Gerald left.
Josephine and Jeffery would stay to accompany Andrew for a few days.
Nicole understood. After all, she had heard from Josephine that no matter what happened between her and Stuart in the past, Andrew always treated her like his own granddaughter.
Andrew was very satisfied with the accommodation at Celestia Springs, and his caregivers had also come along. In addition, Stuart had arranged a medical team at Celestia Springs to provide services for Andrew at any time.
After touring the house, Andrew couldn't wait to have a good chat with Jeffery.
Josephine asked Jeffery to take Andrew back to his room so they could chat while lying down. Even though the journey wasn't long, it was still tiring for Andrew.
Stuart said to Josephine, "You should go upstairs and rest too."
They had rested at the Haustia Manor last night. Stuart, concerned that Josephine was tired from the journey, didn't want to bother her.
Now, letting Josephine rest, he had his own intentions too—they could have some intimate time together in the evening.
After all, he had been holding back for so long. Now that he and Josephine had just started being intimate, he had a lot of needs.
Of course, if it were up to him, he thought Josephine might not be able to handle his energy. So he had to restrain himself a bit.
Thanks to his daily workouts, his stamina and core strength were particularly good.
Maybe because of this, every time, Josephine would be left exhausted by him.
Stuart didn't want to seem like a brute. But he knew that Josephine actually enjoyed it too.
She just lacked the stamina compared to him, and having just returned from Hustalia, she needed a good rest.
The two went upstairs for a nap, and when they woke up and checked their phones, Josephine saw a message from Claudia.
Instead of replying, she called her directly.
Claudia was being held by Jair, wanting to go home, but Jair was stalling, wanting to delay sending her back.
When the phone rang, she quickly answered, "Josephine?"
"Claudia, are you coming to Celestia Springs?"
Claudia said, "My studio isn't too busy these days, and Jair has taken some time off, so we thought we'd come for a couple of days."
Josephine was puzzled, "Didn't Jair go back to the military base today? He said he was going back last night."
"He didn't go back." Claudia blushed a bit, "He took three days off."
"That's great." Josephine didn't think much of it, "I'll ask Laura if she wants to come too, you can come together."
Claudia had the same idea, "Sure."
Josephine added, "Since Jair is at the military base and can't come back often, why don't you move your studio to Celestia Springs? There are more potential clients here, and we can see each other more often. Plus, Laura will definitely come too."
Jair, overhearing, said, "Are you trying to make us live apart?"
Josephine was startled, "You two are together?"
Jair said, "We're a couple; isn't it normal to be together?"
Given Claudia's conservative nature, it was not normal at all. Josephine suddenly thought of something, blinked, and quickly said, "Normal. So when are you coming? Today?"
Jair said, "Yes, we'll pack up and head out later, and have dinner at Celestia Springs."
"Great, we'll wait for you for dinner."
After hanging up, Josephine was momentarily stunned.
Stuart asked, "What's wrong? Is there something off about them coming?"
Josephine shook her head, "Claudia might be with Jair."
"Haven't they been together for a while?"
Josephine said, "I mean really together, you know what I mean?"
Stuart was taken aback, then said, "You mean they've been intimate? Isn't that normal?"
"Claudia is very conservative." Josephine said, "If she's really with Jair, it means she really likes him."
"Don't worry, Claudia won't be taken advantage of. Jair is very serious and responsible; if they're together, he'll definitely take care of her."
"I know." Josephine said, "I'm just a bit emotional. Claudia finally found her partner, and I'm happy for her."
"You found yours too." Stuart hugged her from behind and kissed her earlobe, "Stop worrying about Claudia and think about what to have for dinner."
"Why don't we have them over for dinner?"
"Sure." Stuart said, "I'll get a couple of chefs and have them bring over some ingredients."
"Okay."
Stuart went to make arrangements, and Josephine sent a message to Claudia, then asked Laura.
Laura, who was busy with Steven in Hustalia, saw Josephine's message and immediately told Steven, "I want to go to Celestia Springs!"
Steven asked, "What's up? Something going on?"
"Claudia and Jair are going today, and I want to go too."
Steven, always accommodating her, said, "Alright, let's go. When?"
"Josephine said to have dinner at her place tonight."
"Okay, I'll arrange my work."
And so it was decided. By around six, the couples arrived one after another.
Jair and Stuart had grown up together, so Andrew was naturally familiar with him. Because of Josephine, Andrew had also met Laura and Claudia. Although Andrew knew of Steven, this was their first meeting.
The invited chefs were excellent, and the dishes they prepared were delicious and aromatic. The dining table was almost full, with laughter and joy filling the room.
Josephine observed Jair and Claudia for a while and felt her guess was probably right.
Jair had always been considerate of Claudia, and now the affection in his eyes was unmistakable.
After dinner, they moved to the living room to continue chatting.
However, the group soon split into two.
The three women went to the terrace, while the men, plus a young boy, stayed in the living room to discuss international finance and the stock market.
Josephine smiled at Claudia, who found it odd, "What's up with you? Your smile is kind of creepy."
Josephine looked at her and asked, "Tell me, are you and Jair about to tie the knot?"
