Chapter 168 Will You Accept This Kind of Love?

Donna just mentioned a guy who's super handsome, brave, tall, and really capable.

She also said he's been attentive, caring, and protective of Josephine for a long time.

Josephine thought, "Is it Robin? The Robin I know? Has the world gone mad?"

Like Stuart and Liam, Josephine had known Robin since they were kids.

During the course of their acquaintance, Robin always targeted, humiliated, and bullied her. Whenever he could, he'd oppress and insult her.

Sometimes Josephine wondered why Robin was so against her. She hadn't cut off his money, so what was his deal?

Now, someone was saying all this was out of Robin's love?

Josephine found it almost laughable.

Donna shouted, "That's right! It's the Robin you've been ignoring! He's always been by your side, but you never noticed him!"

Josephine looked at her. "So, are you here to vent for him? To teach me a lesson?"

"Someone like you doesn't deserve his love at all!" Donna was losing it. "Robin's lover, the person who stands by his side in the future, can only be me!"

Josephine said, "I hope you two stay together forever, sincerely. He's so great; you should marry him right away."

Donna got even more furious. "Do you think I don't want to? He only loves you, you bitch! I'm such a good person, but he doesn't see me at all!"

Josephine asked, "Do you know that Robin and I have known each other since we were kids?"

Donna sneered. "Don't think that just because you've known each other since childhood, you deserve everything Robin has done for you!"

"Everything he's done for me?" Josephine laughed. "Including bullying me, insulting me, tearing up my homework, hiding my textbooks, cursing at me, mocking me, and slandering me?"

Donna angrily said, "You ungrateful wretch! His attention was all on you, that's why he did those things! He did it all to get your attention. But you? You only see the surface and have no idea how much he loves you!"

"Would you want that kind of love?" Josephine thought this woman was nuts. "You can have all of it. I can't enjoy it."

"You think you can just give it to me?" Donna was even angrier. "You don't appreciate his love at all."

"First of all, from my perspective, Robin doesn't love me. In fact, you could say he hates me," Josephine said. "Secondly, I've never had any feelings for him. I advise you to figure out whether Robin loves me or hates me."

Donna said, "I don't need your reminder. If I didn't know he loves you and desperately wants you, I wouldn't hate you so much."

Even when she hurt Robin that day, Josephine had a fleeting thought like that. But she quickly dismissed it. Robin couldn't possibly like her.

Even if he wanted to do something to her that day, it was definitely to humiliate her, to make her unable to hold her head up in front of him for the rest of her life.

Someone like Robin wouldn't know what love was.

Josephine never thought someone as vile as Robin would genuinely be good to someone unconditionally.

Even though Stuart was a bad guy who had done many things to hurt Josephine, she knew that Stuart had his limits.

But Robin was different. He never cared about what others thought. Whatever he did, it was all for his own satisfaction. He was a selfish person.

Josephine asked, "What do you love about him?"

"I just said," Donna's eyes softened a bit when she mentioned Robin. "You don't even know Robin's good qualities!"

Love really did make people blind. Donna was blind in both her eyes and her heart.

Josephine couldn't wake someone pretending to be asleep, nor could she save someone who was blind.

She gave up arguing and asked, "So you want to teach me a lesson to vent for him?"

"Vent?" Donna snorted. "If he knew I caught you, he'd be heartbroken! I just wonder, if you were raped, would he still treat you so well?"

Josephine was so angry she wanted to curse.

If someone truly loved her deeply, she'd accept it. But Robin?

Even if she died, she wouldn't bear the disgusting label of being liked by Robin!

Josephine said, "You misunderstood. He really doesn't like me. The things I mentioned, he did them because he genuinely dislikes me."

"Stop lying," Donna said. "He told me more than once that he wants you so badly he's going crazy."

Josephine said, "Have you ever thought he just wants to humiliate me more? My relationship with him has always been bad. If I were truly raped, it would be the best gossip for men but the greatest humiliation for me."

Donna shouted, "That's not true! He loves you so much!"

Seeing Donna's frantic state, Josephine felt powerless. "I know best how he treats me. If what he does to me can be called love, then the worst enemies in the world could all be family! Do you understand what I mean?"

Donna said, "I don't care! Anyway, he loves you. As long as I ruin you, he'll be mine!"

Josephine thought, 'You don't need to ruin me; he's already yours. With your skills, hurry up and take him home. You two are a perfect match, and you can be together forever!'

But she didn't dare say these words to provoke Donna right now.

It was absurd that, even now, Josephine still didn't know the name of the woman in front of her.

She thought for a moment and said, "What if I told you I could teach you how to attract his attention and win his love?"

Donna glared at her. "So you finally admit you seduced him? You bitch!"

Just thinking about it made her furious. Her heart was completely lost to Robin, but Robin only saw her as a tool, making her pretend to be a cousin to seduce Stuart.

It made her want to kill. But she couldn't bear to do anything to Robin. To Josephine, however, she wouldn't be polite!

As long as Josephine was dirty and ruined, she didn't believe Robin would still be infatuated with her!

But honestly, aside from her jealousy of Josephine, she had to admit she was very curious about how Josephine had seduced Robin.

She lifted her chin. "Then go ahead and tell me. If you make me happy, I'll tell them to be gentle later."

Josephine sighed. "Some things are hard for me to say."

Donna sneered. "You're so shameless; what's so hard to say?"

Seeing her hesitate, Donna's patience was running out, and she moved closer. "Are you going to say it or not?"

Josephine leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Let me tell you..."

Before Donna could react, Josephine's wrist flipped, and a sharp blade was already pressed against Donna's neck. "How about now?"
