Chapter 72 What the Hell is Wrong with You

Although Jair was at the military base, his family was also involved in business.

He said, "Nothing going on right now? I remember the end of the year is the busiest time, right?"

Stuart, embarrassed and angry, replied, "I wanted to take a break."

Jair sincerely suggested, "You could vacation in the South or on a small island abroad. Why come to the military base for hard training? Is that what you call a break?"

Stuart didn't even know what was wrong with him.

He just couldn't stay calm when he heard that William was also at the military base.

During meetings, his mind was full of images of William and Josephine together.

During training, who knew if they might have some physical contact!

In a moment of impulse, Stuart called Jair without thinking.

Now that Jair didn't understand him, he couldn't admit that he wanted to go to the military base to keep an eye on Josephine.

So he said, "I think training is a break, it's relaxing. You just arrange it."

Jair had no choice. He offered, "Then how about you go to the special operations military base?"

Stuart said, "No, no need for that hassle. I'll just train under you with the others."

Jair continued, "I have a few squads undergoing extra training. Want to join them?"

Stuart got angry, he blurted out, "I'll just go where Josephine is!"

Jair was surprised. He questioned, "Why go there? Most of them are new recruits; the training intensity would be too easy for you."

He didn't finish his sentence before realizing. Jair teased, "So, you want to be with Josephine?"

Stuart immediately got annoyed. He denied, "I don't want to be with her. What are you thinking?"

Jair said, "No need to be shy. You two are married. It's normal to miss her when you're apart for twenty days."

Stuart said, "I don't miss her..."

Jair interrupted him again, "If that's the case, I can arrange it. Leave it to me. Do you want to share a room with Josephine?"

Stuart gritted his teeth. He refused to admit, "I don't want to share a room with her. I've told you, I'm here to relax, not to be with her!"

Jair laughed. He remarked, "A man should be flexible and adaptable. Besides, bowing your head a little in front of Josephine isn't a big deal. Alright, enough about you. Wait for my call."

Without waiting for Stuart to explain, he hung up.

Stuart felt utterly wronged.

What was Jair talking about?

There's no way he would miss Josephine.

There's no way he would want to be with her.

Absolutely not!

However, the next day, Stuart appeared on time at the place he had agreed with Jair.

The morning session was one-on-one combat training.

Jair brought him to the training field.

Everyone was wearing training uniforms and hats, but Stuart's eyes immediately locked onto Josephine.

Josephine had wheat-colored skin and delicate features. Even in the loose training uniform, with a belt cinched at her waist, her graceful figure and slender waist were still evident.

William was standing behind Josephine, raising his hand to correct the height of her arm.

From another angle, it looked like he was holding Josephine in his arms.

Stuart was furious. Without waiting for Jair to say anything, he strode over.

Jair hurried to catch up.

Stuart walked over with an intimidating presence.

William felt a punch coming from behind his head. He immediately ducked, and then turned to counterattack.

Stuart took the opportunity to step back, distancing William from Josephine.

Josephine looked up and saw Stuart.

Stuart?!

What was he doing here?

Wearing a training uniform?

Why were they fighting?

William and Stuart were of similar build and both were skilled. With Stuart wearing the military base uniform, most people thought he was a soldier.

Only Jair was anxious on the side. He ordered, "Stuart! Stop!"

Josephine also snapped out of it. She quickly urged, "Stuart! Stop fighting!"

But William and Stuart couldn't stop, their fists whistling through the air, their movements intense.

Josephine originally thought William wasn't a match for Stuart.

She knew how good Stuart was at fighting.

But surprisingly, William ended up in a draw with Stuart!

At least in Josephine's eyes, William wasn't at a disadvantage against Stuart.

But only William knew how hard Stuart's fists were and how fierce his gaze was.

William was also very skilled, staring at Stuart with a vicious and deadly look.

Josephine watched in fear and had to ask Jair for help. She pleaded, "Mr. Cook, do something to separate them!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw Stuart take advantage of William's distraction and kick his side. William stepped back but was still kicked in the chest, falling to the ground.

Stuart wanted to continue the fight, but Josephine ran over. She exclaimed worriedly, "William!"

She helped him up, her face full of concern. She asked anxiously, "Are you okay?"

William looked pained. He replied, "I think my rib is broken."

Josephine was shocked and pressed on his chest. William cried out in pain.

Josephine angrily looked at Stuart. She scolded, "Stuart, you're crazy!"

Stuart's eyes were cold. He demanded, "Let go of him!"

Josephine looked at Jair. Then she requested, "Mr. Cook, call a car. He needs to go to the hospital."

Just as Stuart was about to step forward, Jair grabbed his arm. He said disappointedly, "Have you had enough?"

Stuart looked at William and saw a flash of mockery and hatred in his eyes.

He suddenly realized William's intention. He said angrily, "He's faking it! Josephine, are you an idiot?"

"Can you fake a broken rib?" Josephine was furious. She retorted, "You try faking it!"

No.

That wasn't what Stuart meant.

He wanted to say that William, who was clearly as capable as him, had deliberately shown a flaw, giving Stuart the chance to kick him.

William had lost to him on purpose!

Now William was lying in Josephine's arms.

It seemed that was William's goal.

Stuart was furious. He said impatiently, "Josephine, you..."

However, Josephine didn't even look at him.

She looked down at William, asking, "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere else?"

William said, "My head feels a bit dizzy too."

She hurriedly said, "Don't move. I'm sorry, I didn't know he would suddenly attack you."

"It's not your fault." William managed a painful smile. He remarked, "I don't know why he attacked me, but don't feel guilty. He's him, and you're you. The one who should apologize is him."

Josephine took a deep breath and looked at Stuart. She said impatiently, "How can you hit someone without reason? Stuart, apologize!"

Stuart wished he had kicked William to death earlier!

So he wouldn't have the chance to lie in Josephine's arms.

Apologize?

For seducing his wife and then wanting him to apologize?

Dream on!

"Calm down!" Jair held Stuart tightly. He bluntly asked, "Did you come here to pick fights?"

Stuart gritted his teeth. He responded in disbelief,  "What was he doing just now? Didn't you see?"

Jair said, "I only saw him training normally. What the hell is wrong with you?"
