Chapter 203 They Were All in the Service Industry; No One Should Look Down on Anyone!
Josephine's side wasn't all that fancy.
Compared to the luxury elsewhere, she just had two guys—one for her and one for Laura.
Josephine sat uncomfortably, back straight. Laura, on the other hand, was cozy with a young-looking guy, making him blush with her words.
Laura had specifically asked for a young guy. When Josephine saw him, she worried he might not be legal and that Laura could get in trouble.
Laura even asked Josephine what kind of guy she liked. Josephine quickly declined, but Laura ignored her and picked one for her anyway.
That's how Louis Turner ended up next to Josephine.
Honestly, the guys in this bar were pretty decent. They weren't celebrities, but they had good looks and were well-groomed.
Laura's guy was shy, while Josephine's was more forward. Customers like Josephine were rare. She was young, beautiful, and classy. They'd probably pay to be with her!
When Stuart walked in, he immediately noticed Louis close to Josephine, whispering something to her. She was smiling, looking beautiful under the lights.
Stuart's anger flared. He stormed over, grabbed Louis by the shoulder, and tossed him aside.
Louis, caught off guard, stumbled and fell. Stuart then pulled Josephine up before she could react.
She shook him off, frowning. "What are you doing?"
Louis, looking at Josephine, asked, "Who is he? Why is he so aggressive?"
Josephine checked on Louis. "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
Stuart, even angrier, snapped, "Who do you think you are? Get lost!"
Laura, hearing this, got mad. "Who let you in? This is our private room; you should leave!"
Louis added, "Yeah! Who are you? You can't just steal business like this!"
Stuart, already furious, got even angrier. Louis had said it on purpose to provoke him.
Josephine frowned. "Stuart, in five years, you still haven't learned respect."
Stuart took deep breaths to calm down. "Why are you here? Do you know what kind of place this is? How did you end up like this?"
Laura cut in, "Stop!"
Josephine stayed silent, but Laura was already fuming.
Laura rushed over to Stuart and snapped, "What kind of person? Are you even worthy of calling yourself a person? Do you think a few words make you one?"
Stuart shot back, "Do you dare to insult me?"
Laura raised an eyebrow. "Not only will I insult you to your face, but if you can't hear it, I'll carve it on your tombstone!"
Before Stuart could respond, Josephine laughed.
Laura sighed. "Am I too sophisticated in my insults for him to understand?"
Josephine said, "Some people are just asking for it. Make it simpler, considering his IQ."
"Josephine," Stuart looked at her in disbelief. "You've really changed a lot..."
Laura cut him off, "Does she need to stay the same and let you bully her? You may not be smart, but you sure think highly of yourself!"
"That's not what I meant," Stuart ignored Laura and spoke to Josephine, "Josephine, this place isn't clean; it's not suitable for you."
Laura chimed in, "Not clean? You're here too, aren't you? Why can you come, but Josephine can't? Men can indulge, but women get criticized for having a little fun?"
Stuart snapped, "Shut up!"
Laura shrugged. "Can't help it. I feel like scolding you every time I see you.!"
Josephine pulled her back. "Don't waste time with him."
Laura said, "It's okay. I'm still winning!"
Stuart was about to lose it. "Josephine, can you leave with me? I'm begging you."
"If you're begging, show some attitude." Laura pulled Josephine to sit down. "Show your sincerity, kneel."
Stuart glared at her. "Laura, don't push it!"
Laura rested her elbow on her knee, chin in her palm, and said to Josephine, "Josephine, your turn."
Josephine mimicked Laura's posture and looked at Stuart. "Mr. Haustia, do you own this place?"
Stuart's face darkened. "Of course not!"
He had just said this place wasn't good; how could it be his?
"Then that's it," Josephine said, "We're here as paying customers. It's legal. You came in and caused trouble, almost hurting Louis. Since you're not the owner, you can't control this much, right?"
Stuart realized Josephine was teaming up with Laura to provoke him.
He was so angry that he laughed. "Josephine, what's so good about the men here? Who knows how many women they've served. The hands touching you might have just touched an old lady with a wrinkled face. Doesn't that disgust you?"
To be honest, hearing him describe it like that, Josephine and Laura did feel a bit uncomfortable.
Stuart snorted. "If you want to have fun, aren't I better than them? In terms of looks and body, where am I lacking?"
Louis, who had been pushed down, finally reacted. "So, you're here to steal customers? Which bar are you from? You look decent, but I didn't expect us to be in the same business! You're breaking the rules! Haven't your hands touched old ladies before?"
In their line of work, what kind of customers hadn't they seen?
Just yesterday, he served a nearly sixty-year-old!
They were all in the service industry; no one should look down on anyone!
Stealing customers broke the rules! He needed to be hit!
Louis exchanged a look with the guy Laura picked, and the two of them, one in front and one behind, lunged at Stuart.
