Chapter 84 Last Night, You Were Still Cling To My Waist

Stuart didn't have much time, so he went to a restaurant next to his company.

In the private room, the two sat down. Josephine got straight to the point. She asked, "What do you really think about the divorce?"

Stuart's hand paused while pouring water, then he said expressionlessly, "Let's eat first."

Josephine reminded him, "The food hasn't arrived yet, we have time. We signed a prenuptial agreement before, so there's nothing to argue about regarding assets."

"Nothing to argue about?" Stuart sneered, "Do you want to take the things I gave you?"

Josephine was taken aback.

In their three years of marriage, the gifts Stuart gave her were the ones he recently gave her, the same ones he gave to Doris.

Every time he gave a gift before, it was because Andrew reminded him, and he would then have his subordinates randomly pick something.

Were those even considered gifts?

However, Josephine didn't expect Stuart to be so petty about these things.

She smiled faintly. She said calmly, "Mr. Haustia, I naturally won't take those things."

Before she could finish speaking, there was a knock on the door; the waiter came in with the first course.

It was just an appetizer, and Josephine continued, "We..."

Stuart picked up a fork and said coldly, "Don't talk while eating."

Josephine frowned.

Since when was this a rule?

How come she didn't know that Stuart now didn't allow talking during meals?

But she thought, 'Eating will take at most half an hour, and I would still have half an hour to talk about things.'

The two ate in silence.

The restaurant served food quickly, and sure enough, Josephine was full in less than half an hour.

Stuart ate more slowly, his movements elegant and refined, clearly a man of noble upbringing.

Josephine, feeling anxious, spoke up, "Can I talk while you listen?"

Stuart looked up at her. He responded, "Can you let me eat in peace?"

Josephine frowned and had to stay quiet, waiting beside him.

No matter how slowly Stuart ate, he would eventually be full.

Seeing him put down his fork, Josephine quickly asked, "Are you full?"

To her surprise, Stuart looked at his watch and said, "It's about time, I have to go back."

Josephine's anger flared up, She snapped at him, "What do you mean! I told you I have something to discuss; you won't even let me talk!"

"About the divorce." Stuart wiped his hands and looked at her calmly. He said, "I'll find time to discuss it with you."

"Divorce is one thing, but there's something else," Josephine spoke before he could get up, "Stuart, there's something I've never told you."

Stuart finally looked at her. He asked impatiently, "What is it?"

Josephine said, "Actually, I have someone I like."

Stuart's gaze instantly turned icy. He questioned, "What do you mean?"

Josephine felt he was about to get angry and didn't understand why he suddenly became so fierce.

She thought for a moment before speaking, then said, "You have your first love in your heart, and I have mine."

Stuart's grip on the coffee cup turned white, and the thin cup seemed like it would shatter in his hand at any moment.

Josephine continued, "Since our marriage can't be maintained, it can only end. Over the years, with the cooperation with the Kalmien family, I know you've taken some losses."

"Some?" Stuart finally spoke, his voice colder than before, "Ms. Kalmien, do you have any misunderstanding about the amount of money I've spent? When did it become less?"

Josephine said, "To you, this money isn't much."

Stuart sneered, "So what? Even if it's just a penny, why should I give it to you for free?"

Josephine said, "We were at least married."

"Josephine." Stuart reminded her coldly, "We were only together for mutual benefit. Are you talking about feelings now? If you're talking about divorce, you should consider the consequences. If you can't afford them, I advise you to keep quiet."

Josephine said, "But..."

Stuart said coldly, "Before you talk to me about divorce, why don't you call your dad, Todd, and ask him how long the Kalmien family company can last without the Haustia family's investment and support."

Josephine didn't expect Stuart to be so ruthless and decisive.

She had thought that even if they divorced, some ongoing collaborations wouldn't be canceled.

However, from what Stuart said, as long as they divorced and there was no marital connection, his funds could be withdrawn at any time.

Stuart stood up, looking at her coldly. "You just said you have someone you like?" he asked.

Josephine snapped out of her thoughts and nodded absentmindedly.

She had seen a video her colleague was watching that said the thing men couldn't tolerate the most was their wife having someone else in her heart.

It was about a man's pride and dignity.

So Josephine had casually made up a first love.

Stuart asked coldly, "Who is it?"

Josephine shook her head in refusal. She said, "You don't know him. Like your first love, he's not in the country."

"Before the divorce, you'd better control yourself." Stuart's gaze was fixed on her, He said sternly, "Always remember your identity, and don't force me to take action against the Kalmien family."

"Give me a definite answer." Josephine also stood up and looked at him. She asked again, "When can we get divorced?"

"Are you so eager to throw yourself into someone else's arms?" Stuart suddenly stepped forward and grabbed her chin. He remarked, "What, haven't I been satisfying your desires?"

"Stuart!" Josephine slapped his hand away. She quipped, "Don't think everyone is as filthy-minded as you!"

"I'm filthy-minded?" Stuart sneered, "Is Ms. Kalmien particularly noble? Then why were you clinging to my waist last night, holding me?"

"Shut up!" Josephine shouted angrily, "You can use me as a tool to vent your desires. I can also use you as a vibrator."

"A vibrator?" Stuart took a deep breath to control himself from strangling her. He questioned, "Does your first love know about your strong desires? He might think he can't satisfy you."

Before Stuart could finish, Josephine turned and walked away.

Stuart grabbed her. He said snidely, "Did I hit the mark; now you're angry? You looked so satisfied in bed, but now you won't admit it? If your first love knew how lewd you are, completely ruined by me, do you think he would still want you?"

Josephine's chest heaved with anger.

She never knew Stuart could say such harsh and mean things.

Josephine asked, "What about you? Mr. Haustia, did you ever think about staying pure for your first love? If she knew you were like a beast on top of other women, do you think she would still want you?"

Seeing Stuart's face turn murderous, Josephine pushed him away and left the private room.

She had planned to have a good talk with him, to part on good terms.

He had his first love, and she had hers; they were about the same; neither should blame the other.

However, who knew Stuart wouldn't talk sensibly at all.

She was furious!

But she knew Stuart must be feeling bad too.

"Josephine!" a voice called out.

She had just left the restaurant when she heard someone call her.
