Chapter 432 Can't Get Out of Bed for Three Days
Claudia said pitifully, "I'm hungry."
"I made breakfast. I'll heat it up in a bit," Jair said, holding her hand. "First, go freshen up."
Claudia, still clutching the blanket, said, "I need to get dressed."
Seeing her like this, Jair laughed, "Are you still shy? There's nothing on your body I haven't seen. We've already kissed."
Claudia stepped forward and covered his mouth.
Jair laughed and pulled her wrist down, "Alright, I won't say anymore. But do you know why I took three days off?"
Claudia said, "You didn't need to take that many days off. You can spend today with me and go back to the military base tomorrow."
Jair said, "Because before, one of my colleagues took three days off when he was first with his girlfriend, and they didn't get out of bed for three days."
Claudia was shocked. She was almost scared to death.
"That's a lie, right?" Claudia said, clutching her chest. "How could they not get out of bed for three days? What did they eat?"
"A lie?" Jair pulled her into his arms. "Do you want to try?"
Claudia felt that through last night, she seemed to have unlocked some switch in Jair's body. He used to be very proper. Although he would occasionally kiss her, he was always very disciplined and never touched her inappropriately.
Who would have thought that after one night, Jair would change?
Seeing Claudia's dazed look, Jair couldn't help but kiss her, "Just kidding. Alright, I'll go prepare the food. You get dressed and freshen up. I'll wait for you downstairs."
After Jair left, Claudia breathed a sigh of relief.
She suddenly thought of something, lifted the blanket, and looked. The bedsheet was clean, with nothing on it.
How could this be? She panicked, threw on some clothes, and ran out.
Jair was in the kitchen, and the sound of Claudia's footsteps made him turn around.
He frowned, put down what he was holding, walked over, and picked Claudia up, "Why aren't you wearing shoes?"
Claudia anxiously said, "I didn't lie to you. It really was my first time."
Jair didn't expect that she had rushed down to tell him this.
He said, "I know."
"But, but..." Claudia was almost in tears. "But why is there nothing on the bedsheet?"
Jair was stunned, then realized what she was worried about.
He couldn't help but laugh, kissed her, and said, "Silly, I changed the bedsheet."
Claudia was dumbfounded, "Huh?"
"Last night, I put you in the bathtub to soak for a while, then changed the bedsheet. Oh, my bedsheets all look pretty similar, so you couldn't tell."
"I have no memory of that..." Claudia murmured.
"You were exhausted last night." Jair held her and sat her down on a dining chair. "Hungry, right? Wait here, I'll bring breakfast over."
Claudia was still a bit dazed, "I haven't freshened up yet."
"No worries," Jair said. "You can freshen up after eating."
Claudia was indeed hungry; after all, making love was quite a physical activity. Even though she didn't exert much effort, she definitely used up some energy.
After breakfast, Jair didn't let her move and put the dishes in the kitchen, saying someone would come to clean up.
Then, he carried Claudia upstairs again. Putting Claudia on the bed, he said, "Now do you believe that my colleague and his girlfriend didn't get out of bed for three days?"
If it was just to eat, and the rest of the time was spent in bed, it didn't seem that hard.
But Claudia didn't want that. Thinking of Jair's formidable stamina, her legs started to tremble. "I want to go home."
Seeing her pitiful look, Jair laughed, "Rest well. Once you're rested, I'll take you home."
Claudia asked, "When?"
Jair said, "This afternoon?"
Claudia nodded, "Okay."
That she could accept.
Jair didn't expect that he, who had been so restrained before, couldn't control himself once he truly enjoyed it. Maybe he had scared Claudia last night. But honestly, even last night, he had held back.
Claudia was really tired and fell asleep again after breakfast. When she woke up again, it was already afternoon, and Jair took her out for lunch.
Claudia then remembered something and asked, "Did Josephine and the others leave?"
Jair handed her a napkin to wipe her mouth, "Yes, they should be at Celestia Springs by now. They came back to pick up Andrew, so they must have left early."
"I was planning to..."
"What?"
Claudia glanced at him, "I was planning to see Josephine off this morning."
But she didn't get up.
Jair asked, "You wanted to come home with me last night and still planned to see her off in the morning?"
Claudia nodded, "Yes."
Jair was silent for a few seconds, then said, "You really have no idea about my stamina."
Claudia couldn't help but glare at him.
Jair laughed, "Are you going to miss Josephine?"
Claudia said, "Yes, we used to see each other often. After she moved to Celestia Springs, we rarely see each other."
"If you want to go, just let me know. I'll go with you."
Claudia said, "How do you have the time? The military base is so busy."
Jair said, "I'm planning to retire."
Claudia was stunned.
Jair looked at her seriously, "I stayed at the military base because I was in good health and had no attachments. Now, I have you."
Claudia felt warmth in her heart.
Jair continued, "It's time to give the younger generation a chance, and I'll have more time to spend with you."
"But if you really like the military base, don't quit because of me..."
"It's not because of you," Jair quickly said. "It's part of my life plan. I just don't want you to feel lonely often or be unable to be there for you when you need me."
"But," Claudia remembered something Josephine had told her, "I know you love the military base. Josephine told me before."
Jair said, "I'll make arrangements. Even if I'm not working at the military base, I'll find other ways to support our troops."
Claudia nodded.
Jair held her hand, "Claudia, when will you take me to meet your parents?"
Claudia was stunned.
Jair continued, "You haven't thought about this, have you? Or are you dating me without the intention of marriage? That would be irresponsible."
Claudia shook her head, "Of course not! And, clearly, it's you..."
The last sentence was very soft. But Jair heard it.
He smiled and squeezed Claudia's hand, "If you're free these days, since I'm on vacation, why don't we go to Celestia Springs?"
Claudia thought for a moment and asked, "Really?"
"Don't you want to see Josephine?"
"Yes."
"Then let's go," Jair said. "We can also visit a few places."
