Chapter 28 Divorce Her
Josephine was a top student.
Her grades were excellent throughout her schooling. After becoming a doctor, her mentor said she was exceptionally talented.
Josephine had never encountered any problems in her studies, work, or even family life.
Todd and Esther were distant from Josephine because she was raised by her grandparents.
Moreover, when Josephine was three, Todd and Esther started trying for a second child.
However, Esther spent several years without getting pregnant. Todd and Esther sought medical advice everywhere since they wanted a son.
In the end, they were unsuccessful.
They couldn't have a second child and completely neglected Josephine in their pursuit of one.
This led to their emotional distance from Josephine.
Later, Josephine was arranged to marry into the Haustia family. Although Josephine indeed liked Stuart, no one knew about it.

After returning from abroad, Josephine went to work at the hospital.

Knowing that Josephine had returned, Liam came to find her after work and invited her to dinner to celebrate her return.
"Is my sincerity enough?" Liam pushed Josephine, who was in a wheelchair, into the private room. "This is the best room at Moonlight Restaurant."
Moonlight Restaurant was a members-only establishment. Every day, the seafood soup here was available in limited quantities.
For the upper class of Hustalia, the best private room at Moonlight Restaurant was a tool to showcase their prestigious status.
Liam was able to book this room today because of his luck.
Liam also invited Claudia. But when Claudia arrived, she looked angry.
Josephine asked Claudia to come closer and inquired, "What's wrong? Who made our little princess angry?"
The three of them grew up together. Claudia was the youngest, so Liam and Josephine often joked that Claudia was the little princess.
Claudia pouted. "Why didn't you tell me that Stuart bought the dress I designed and gave it to Doris?"
Josephine asked in surprise, "How did you know about this?"
"Doris uploaded the photos to Instagram!" Claudia became even angrier. "She doesn't deserve to wear that dress! "
Liam naturally knew what they had done abroad. Listening to Claudia, he knew that she was angry because Doris had uploaded the photos of the dress on Instagram.
He could guess at what had happened and asked, "Is Stuart insane?"
Josephine explained, "Doris loves Claudia's designs, so Stuart buying that dress was normal."
Claudia angrily took out her phone. "I'll block her! I'll also contact the contest organizers. I won't sell this dress!" Designers could retract auctioned items, but it came with hefty penalties.
Josephine stopped Claudia. "Calm down. You can block Doris, but the dress is sold. Be happy you made money. You don't need to pay for her."
Josephine put Claudia's phone aside. "I'll wear your future designs to provoke her."
"Yes!" Claudia clenched her fists. "Even in expensive clothes, she's not elegant! She flaunts her love on Instagram. People like that never end well. I believe she'll soon fall."
Liam said, "Stuart has no taste. You should throw him in the trash." Claudia, now angry, agreed with Liam. "Liam is right! Trash should stay where it belongs. Stuart must be non-recyclable trash!"
Josephine laughed. Her heart, once troubled by love for Stuart, finally saw the light. Since Josephine said she would change, she would take action. To make Stuart like her, Josephine even concealed her true self and imitated others. It was both ridiculous and sad.
After dinner, Liam drove Claudia home first and then Josephine.
Josephine had a long day at work and was tired. Sitting in the passenger seat, she felt the warm breeze and fell asleep.
Liam drove to the Haustia Manor. He didn't turn off the heater because he was afraid Josephine would be cold. Under the streetlight, Liam could barely see Josephine's face.
After a while, Josephine shivered and suddenly woke up. She opened her eyes and saw Liam leaning on the steering wheel.
Josephine thought, 'Did I fall asleep?' 'Did Liam fall asleep too?'
Looking outside, Josephine knew they had arrived at the Haustia Manor's yard. As soon as she moved, Liam looked up. "You're awake." "Why don't you wake me?"
Josephine stretched. "You go back to sleep. I'll get off."
"I'll help you." Liam got out of the car first. He took the wheelchair out of the trunk and walked to the passenger side to help Josephine get out. After Josephine sat in the wheelchair, Liam pushed her into the house.
"Are you okay alone?"
"Of course," Josephine said with a smile, "Drive carefully."
While Josephine was getting ready for bed, Doris received photos from the detective she hired.
Doris looked at the photos and snorted. Just as she was about to send these photos to Stuart, she remembered something and made a call to give an order.
At this time, Robin, who was drinking, heard his phone ring. He casually picked it up and looked at the photos. But when he guessed who was in the photos, he suddenly stood up and cursed.
He paced around the table in annoyance. Seeing Robin pacing, his friends joked, "Mr. Bailey, what's wrong?"
"Why are you so angry? Did your girlfriend betray you?"
Everyone laughed. Robin became indifferent. "Shut up!"
Robin realized he was out of line after his outburst. Taking a deep breath, he went to get his coat. "You guys continue drinking. I'll leave first because I have other things to take care of."
Robin called Stuart after leaving the hotel.
Stuart was at work. He answered the call and asked, "What's up? If it's nothing, I'll hang up because I'm busy."
"You keep working," Robin suppressed his anger. "I'll wait for you at the hotel."
Stuart stayed busy and didn't return to the hotel until late. He saw Robin holding a bottle of wine in his room. "
"What happened?" Stuart asked as he unbuttoned his sleeve.
Robin said directly, "You should divorce Josephine."
