Laura took out her phone, "I need to think about what gift to give. Do you think Claudia will have a boy or a girl this time?"
Steven said, "What do you want?"
"I already have a godson," Laura said, "so I'd like a goddaughter this time."
"Actually, no," Laura said, "Jair's family probably wants a boy, so let's hope Claudia has a boy this time."
After saying that, she looked at Steven again, "Come to think of it, I'm pretty lucky."
Steven raised an eyebrow, "Why do you say that?"

After discussing what gift to give with Josephine, Laura softly asked Steven, "If I never have a child in my life, would you regret it?"
Steven said, "Maybe a little. But life is never perfect, having some regrets is fine."
Laura knew Steven was good to her, truly unconditionally spoiling her.

Josephine and Laura followed to help settle in.

Josephine asked, "Did Steven talk to you about having a child?"
"It would be better if he did," Laura said, "He said he doesn't want one, wants to treat me like a child for a lifetime."
