Chapter 63 You Are Really Annoying

Stuart had a commanding presence, his face full of anger. A few people surrounded him, but none dared to step forward, only muttering among themselves.

Josephine quickly walked over, and after hearing a few sentences, she roughly understood the situation.

She went over, pulling Stuart behind her, and then looked at the man Stuart had kicked.

"Are you okay?" Josephine asked.

"Dr. Kalmien?" one of them said as they recognized Josephine.

Immediately, someone asked, "Dr. Kalmien, do you know this man?"

Josephine didn't disclose their relationship and only said, "I'm sorry, I'll cover the medical expenses, examination fees, and lost wages. I apologize on his behalf."

"Dr. Kalmien, this guy is just unreasonable!" The man who got kicked struggled to get up. He explained, "We were just smoking and chatting in the stairwell, and he suddenly came over and kicked me!"

The others chimed in, "Yeah, exactly! I never seen someone bully like this!"

Josephine felt Stuart's anger intensifying beside her and quickly said, "I'm really sorry."

"Why are you apologizing!" Stuart suddenly spoke, his voice filled with anger. "Josephine, you..."

"Shut up!" Josephine turned and yelled at him, then looked at the family members of the patient. "I'm sorry, he's not well. Please don't hold it against him. Head Nurse, could you arrange for someone to take him for a check-up?"

The head nurse quickly agreed and helped to calm the situation.

Josephine grabbed Stuart's wrist and pulled him away.

Stuart glanced back at the group.

They were intimidated by his cold and fierce look and didn't dare to say anything more.

Josephine brought him back to the duty room and forcefully let go of his hand. "Stuart, are you out of your mind! Why are you causing trouble at the hospital and hitting people? Are you insane?" she asked, bewildered.

Stuart was still full of anger, his eyes red, either from his lingering cold or his rage.

His gaze at Josephine was both cold and scorching.

Cold was his demeanor, scorching was his anger.

"You don't even ask about the situation and just blame me! Josephine, you're the one who's sick!" Stuart shouted.

"How old are you, still getting into fights! This is a hospital! It's not the Haustia family's company where you can hit whoever you want!" Josephine said.

"Josephine!" Stuart yelled as he suddenly grabbed Josephine by the neck.

Josephine looked at him in disbelief. "You're even going to hit me?" she coldly questioned.

Stuart gritted his teeth. "I really want to strangle you!" he exclaimed angrily.

Josephine yelled, "What is wrong with you? Always wanting to hit people. Stuart, are you crazy?"

"Yes, I'm crazy." Stuart pushed her away violently. The he angrily complained, "Josephine, do you know, you're really, really annoying!"

Josephine stood there, stunned.

Stuart didn't look at her again and turned to leave.

Josephine heard his word "annoying," like a curse echoing in her ears, making her unable to move for a long time.

Annoying.

He said annoying.

Not just dislike, but annoying.

She suddenly felt powerlessness .

Josephine had to admit, before this moment, she still had hopes for this marriage, and for Stuart.

Even though Stuart had done many things to break her heart.

But now. This second. Josephine truly understood what it meant to be heartbroken.

She composed herself, took a deep breath, and left the break room.

Not long after, the head nurse came to find her. She informed Josephine, "That guy is really something, kicked the patient's family member so hard he got a fracture. Luckily, no internal organs were injured, but he'll have to stay in bed for a while."

Josephine smiled. She simply replied, "Thank you."

The head nurse looked at her worriedly. She advised, "Josephine, that guy just now... are you close to him? He seems impressive, but if he's prone to domestic violence, we should be careful."

Josephine nodded in agreement. She responded, "I know."

The nurse added, "That's good. Those family members said they had no idea why they were attacked. Stuart suddenly appeared and kicked them. They're only not pressing charges because of you."

"I understand. Thank you," Josephine said, "I'll buy something later and go see them, and discuss the compensation."

Josephine was already busy and now had to deal with the mess Stuart created, leaving her utterly exhausted.

Liam heard the news and came over, asking directly, "Stuart hit someone?"

Josephine had just returned from visiting the person with the fracture, tiredly holding her head, and nodded in confirmation.

"What's wrong with him?" Liam asked and felt heartbroken seeing her like this. "You shouldn't have intervened! Let him handle it himself!"

Josephine shook her head in disagreement. Then she asked, "Why are you here?"

"To bring you lunch," Liam replied and placed the lunchbox in front of her. "Don't think about those troublesome things. Nothing is more important than eating."

Josephine was amused by him. She responded, "Alright, got it."

"I still love seeing you smile," Liam said, "You look so beautiful when you smile."

Josephine lowered her eyes, then quickly looked up at him, her gaze firm. She informed him, "Liam, I want a divorce."

Liam was stunned, then overjoyed. "Great, you finally figured it out! I've always said, a jerk like Stuart, why stay married to him!" he excitedly exclaimed.

Josephine smiled. She added, "But I need time to prepare for this. As long as you know I have this intention."

"Alright, whatever you do, I'll support you." Liam said.

Liam couldn't help but touch her hair after saying that.

Josephine glared at him. She snapped, "What's wrong with you! How many times have I told you!"

"Stingy, can't even touch?" Liam said.

Josephine advised him, "No. When you have a girlfriend in the future, please, don't do this to any girl, okay? Not even to me! People will misunderstand!"

"Misunderstand what?" Liam said, "We have a good relationship it has nothing to do with her."

Josephine said, "Fine, then stay single, don't get a girlfriend, so your future girlfriend won't be heartbroken."

Liam said, "I don't have anyone I like right now anyway."

Josephine was extremely helpless.

Liam added, "By the way, Ray came for the exam. His theory is a mess, and his practical skills are even worse. I had someone take him to the operating room, and he left dejected."

Josephine said, "If he really had the skills, we could make an exception for him. But if he's not capable and still wants to come? He's delusional."

Liam asked, "Then what if Doris will say something to Stuart again? But, oh well, we're not afraid, since you're going to divorce him anyway!"

Josephine glanced around. She scolded, "Keep your voice down!"

Liam immediately crossed his index fingers over his mouth. He slyly replied, "Understood!"

Meanwhile, Stuart returned to the company, still full of anger, and received a call from Andrew.

Andrew asked, "How's Josephine? What did you have for lunch? Make sure she eats well; she's preparing for pregnancy and needs good nutrition."

Stuart suppressed his anger and said, "Grandpa, please stay out of our business. I have my own plans."

"What plans can you possibly have!" Andrew immediately got angry. He scolded, "You've been married for three years and haven't given me a great-grandchild. What's wrong with you; are you incapable?!"
