Chapter 31 He's Crazy
Before Stuart called Josephine, she was attending to a patient.
Josephine had injured her ankle so
that she couldn't perform surgery. But she could still see patients.
Liam answered her call and explained what had happened.
Liam said Stuart had gone mad and talked nonsense, so Liam argued back.
Josephine understood their personalities well. They had fought before, so she thought their argument was normal.
Now, Stuart woke up. Seeing Josephine silent, he glared at her angrily. Josephine could only cover his mouth.
Patients with concussions shouldn't get agitated. Otherwise, their condition might worsen.
But Stuart didn't know this fact. Seeing Josephine covering his mouth and thinking about what Liam had said, Stuart got so angry that he sat up abruptly.
As a result, Stuart felt dizzy and lightheaded before he could say anything.
His anger vanished.
Josephine fetched a pillow and placed it behind him. "You have a concussion, so you can't move. Why do you have an accident?"
"Because of you!"
Stuart felt very angry.
Stuart told Robin that he would go back to work first, but he had been thinking about Josephine and Liam.
Stuart thought, 'Josephine is too shameless!'
'How dare she betray me?'
'She has trampled on the honor of the Haustia family!'
Stuart wanted to reprimand Josephine.
However, he had an accident before he could see her!
Stuart felt very wronged.
Because of her profession, Josephine automatically switched to her doctor identity as soon as she saw a patient lying in bed.
Even if the person lying here now was Cliff, she would still blame him.
Although Stuart now felt like killing Josephine, he was weakened by the concussion. He felt very unlucky.
"You hit someone's car from behind," Josephine calmly stated the fact. "You're fully responsible. And now you're blaming the accident on me. Were you distracted because you were thinking about me while driving?"
That was the truth. But Stuart couldn't admit it.
Because it was too shameful.
Besides, Stuart was angry with Josephine at that time!
After hearing Josephine's words, Stuart felt that she had distorted the facts to make it seem like he was thinking about her because he liked her.
Stuart didn't like Josephine at all!
Stuart said coldly, "Josephine, I don't know you are so good at distorting the facts."
Josephine laughed. "Since you're lying in the hospital bed, you have to obey my orders. No matter who you are, I only see you as a patient in Bed No. 3."
Stuart was lying in bed three.
Because Stuart was lying down, he looked obedient when he didn't speak.
Stuart didn't argue and decided to reprimand Josephine after he was discharged.
Although Stuart didn't have dizziness and nausea, he had to be observed in the hospital before he could be discharged.
He had mixed feelings without seeing any concern in Josephine's eyes.
Since he was still angry, Stuart revealed the news of his hospitalization when replying to Doris's message.
Half an hour later, Josephine saw Doris rushing into the ward.
Doris rushed in. She was crying and looked very anxious.
Doris rushed to Stuart and examined him. "Stuart, what happened? Where are you injured? Is it serious?"
Stuart glanced at Josephine.
Stuart thought, 'This is the normal reaction of someone who cares about me.'
'As my wife, Josephine remained calm after the accident.'
Because of his gaze, Josephine felt strange and said, "If he has any wounds, you can only make them bleed because you're pressing on him."
Doris was very scared. "Really? Stuart, are you okay?"
"He is fine. There is an issue with his brain."
Stuart glared angrily at Josephine. "You're the one who had something wrong in your head!"
Stuart and Josephine were arguing, but Doris suddenly felt they were flirting.
She had always suspected Josephine would try to steal Stuart away. "Josephine, Stuart is injured, so please don't upset him. I'll take care of him." Doris said immediately.
Josephine replied, "You can take care of him. After all, I don't want to spend money hiring a servant."
Doris, on the verge of tears from anger, explained the situation to Stuart."Stuart, she went too far!"
Josephine couldn't control her emotions and felt irritated when she saw Doris. After giving Doris a piece of her mind, Josephine calmed down.
Liam was waiting outside for Josephine and offered to take her home.
On the way, Josephine received a call. She didn't answer it. Liam curiously asked, "Why didn't you pick up?"
Josephine showed him her phone.
Liam was surprised and said, "Why is that jerk, Robin, calling you?"
"I don't know," Josephine said, not intending to answer.
" He must have had ulterior motives"
Josephine and Robin had always been at odds. Josephine was in a bad mood, so she naturally didn't want to answer Robin's call.
But Robin was patient. He called her again.
Liam suggested, "Block his number." Liam's tone was very casual. He asked, "When do you get his contact information?" Josephine and Robin couldn't get along. Normally, if they accidentally met, they wouldn't speak unless they were fighting.
Therefore, it was impossible for Josephine and Robin to exchange contact information.
Josephine calmly said, "After I married Stuart."
At that time, Josephine was still harboring illusions of improving her relationship relationship with Stuart s well as reconciling with Robin and others.
However, the reality proved that her efforts were a joke.
Robin called Josephine twice. When he was about to make a third call, the call couldn't go through.
Robin was confused and thought, 'The first two calls went through. Why can't I get through this time?'
The person next to Robin heard his muttering and explained, "Mr. Bailey, this usually happens when the other person blocks you."
Robin didn't know this because no one had ever blocked him! He couldn't believe that Josephine dared to block him and called her again.
The call didn't go through.
He used the phone of the person next to him to call Josephine.
The call went through! Robin thought, 'Josephine really blocked me.'
'Josephine Kalmien!'
Robin felt angry because he felt that he has been humiliated.
