Chapter 83 Do You Want Me to Go Faster

Josephine looked at him. She said seriously, "Put your clothes on first, we need to talk."

"Talk about what?" Stuart said, "I've already taken my clothes off, let me take a shower first."

Josephine said, "Do you have some obsession with showering? Do it later."

Josephine had no intention of letting him shower; she just wanted to talk about the divorce.

Who knew what Stuart might try to do while showering.

After the talk, Josephine didn't believe he would still be in the mood for her to help him shower.

But Stuart insisted. "Shower first."

Now, Josephine was sure that Stuart had ulterior motives.

Josephine glanced at him, her eyes drifting downward. She asked, "Aren't you tired?"

Stuart followed her gaze downward. He retorted, "It's because I'm tired that I need to relax. Mrs. Haustia, hurry up."

Josephine didn't speak or move.

"You do know why Grandpa sent us up here, right?" Stuart asked as he walked closer, trapping her in his arms, "Hmm?"

Josephine turned her face away. She rebutted,"He isn't here. He can't see what you're doing, and you don't want to have kids with me."

"Do you want to have kids?" Stuart grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. He asked her, "Do you want to have my children?"

Looking at his face, Josephine felt a bit dazed for a moment.

However, she quickly snapped out of it and said directly, "Stuart..."

Stuart said, "Shower first."

Stuart suddenly let go of her, grabbed her arm, and led her to the bathroom.

Josephine's strength was no match for his. He dragged her to the bathroom, and before she could close the door, Stuart had her pinned against the wall.

Josephine shouted, "Stuart!"

Stuart's large hand moved downward, his tone cold. He remarked, "I just bled for you, Dr. Kalmien. Shouldn't you repay me?"

Josephine's struggling body went still.

Stuart chuckled softly. He teased, "Besides, I wasn't mistaken. You were the first to rush in and protect me. Dr. Kalmien, do you like me?"

Stuart hadn't considered this possibility; he was just teasing Josephine.

Unexpectedly, Josephine said, "You're overthinking it. As a doctor, it's my instinct to save lives. And, Stuart, I was just about to tell you, I have someone I like..."

Before she could finish, Stuart had already stripped her clothes off, his large hand kneading her chest, making Josephine cry out in pain.

"Already crying out?" Stuart lifted one of her legs. He said sarcastically, "Don't rush, we have all night."

Josephine felt like she had completely given up resisting.

Since she had decided to divorce Stuart, this might be their last time in bed together.

Stuart was handsome and well-built; sleeping with a man like him wasn't a loss.

Besides, he was exceptionally talented and skilled, always making Josephine feel comfortable.

Josephine simply wrapped her arms around his neck.

Sensing her softening attitude, Stuart's movements became gentler. He teased, "Finally behaving? Feeling good?"

Josephine glared at him.

He laughed, his chest seeming to vibrate.

He bit her ear and asked, "Do you want me to go faster?"

Contrary to his usual serious and cold demeanor, Stuart had recently taken to saying outrageous things in bed.

It made Josephine so embarrassed that her ears burned.

Yet Stuart seemed to enjoy seeing her both shy and angry.

Josephine wanted to kick him.

Stuart used to be straightforward in bed, but now he had more and more tricks and words!

In the end, they didn't talk about the divorce. Josephine was carried to bed by him and fell asleep immediately.

Stuart held her from behind, still reluctant to leave her body, kissed her delicate neck, and fell asleep.

Josephine had a lot of soup for dinner, served by Andrew, so she had no choice but to accept it.

She woke up in the midnight needing to use the bathroom.

As soon as she moved, she sensed something was wrong. When she realized what it was, she was incredulous!

Stuart wasn't human, was he?

He was truly a beast.

She was asleep, and he still wouldn't let her go?

As soon as she moved, Stuart woke up.

His voice was thick with sleep. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Then, instinctively, he raised his hand and patted Josephine, as if soothing her.

Josephine lay quietly for a few seconds, then moved aside to separate from him.

Stuart's large hand reached out, pulled her back, and held her in his arms again.

Josephine pushed his arm. She said, "I need to go to the bathroom."

After that, she slept until morning.

When she woke up, Stuart was already gone.

Missing the chance to negotiate with Stuart, Josephine felt regretful.

Once she decided on something, she didn't want to drag it out.

In the morning, she called Stuart, asking if he had time for lunch.

Since there was no good atmosphere for a chat at the Haustia Manor at night.

She thought lunchtime would be safer.

Stuart asked, "What's it about?"

Josephine said, "I want to talk to you about something. We'll discuss it in person."

Stuart checked his schedule and said, "I only have an hour at lunch. Come to my office then."

Then he hung up.

Josephine no longer cared about his coldness. Stuart saved his tenderness and affection for someone else.

Josephine arrived at the office early, only to find Robin there too.

When Robin arrived, Stuart was still busy.

He asked, "Do you need something?"

Robin said, "Just passing by, thought I'd check in."

Stuart said, "I don't have time to entertain you."

"No need," Robin said, "I just have a few questions."

Stuart asked, "What questions?"

"Last time you mentioned divorce." Robin looked at him. "What's the situation now?"

Stuart put down his pen. He said impatiently, "You must be really bored."

Robin said, "First, I'm concerned about you. Second, I'm asking on behalf of Doris. She's too shy and scared to ask you."

Stuart looked back at his documents. He replied, "Mind your own business."

"What do you mean?" Robin said, "Are you getting divorced or not?"

Just as he said this, Josephine arrived.

Robin looked at her.

Josephine had her hair tied up, with soft curls framing her face, making her look even more beautiful and delicate.

Seeing Robin, she frowned slightly but still nodded at him in greeting.

Robin said, "What a rare guest, Dr. Kalmien. What brings you here?"

Josephine said, "I'm here to see Stuart."

Stuart, being punctual, checked the time and stood up. He suggested, "Let's go."

Robin asked, "You have plans? Where are you going?"

Stuart said, "Lunch, and to discuss some matters."

Robin laughed. He insisted, "Mind if I join you? I'll have lunch with you."

Stuart didn't say anything, but Josephine immediately said, "It's not convenient."

Robin's smile disappeared.

After speaking, she didn't look at either of them and turned to leave.

Stuart told him, "Don't follow and cause trouble. Go do your own thing."

Then he left too.

A few minutes later, Doris came in.

She asked, "Where's Stuart? Why are you here alone?"

Robin looked at her deeply. He remarked snarkily, "How long are you going to wait? Until Josephine and Stuart reconcile, and you have no chance at all?"
