Chapter 430 I Want to Go to Your House

Jair still wanted to kick him, but Claudia quickly held him back.

"Who are you? How dare you hit me!" David covered his face and got up from the ground.

The fact that he was beaten by Jair made him feel humiliated, but Jair was obviously taller and stronger than him, so he didn't dare to confront him directly and could only talk.

"I'm Claudia's boyfriend." Jair looked at him coldly. "If you don't know how to use that mouth of yours properly, then there's no need for you to open it again!"

Jair had been trained at the military base for many years and came from a good family, so his imposing manner was not fake.

David was actually already scared, but with Claudia there, he didn't want to be looked down upon, otherwise, it would be too embarrassing.

"You're Claudia's boyfriend?" David looked at Claudia, then at Jair. "What tricks did she use to get with you? I didn't expect it, she's quite capable."

Before he could finish his sentence, Jair kicked him again. This time, David flew directly into the wall behind him.

The commotion was too loud, and many people came over, including Lyanna, who had just been there. "David! What happened to you? Who dares to hit you here?"

Jair stood firmly. "I did."

Claudia was extremely anxious. She wasn't worried that Jair couldn't beat David, but Jair's special status made her fear that if word got out about him hitting someone, the military base might punish him.

Claudia spread her arms to protect him. "It has nothing to do with him! David was the one who insulted me first!"

David clutched his chest, unable to move. "Ms. Patel! They just hit me for no reason! You have to stand up for me!"

Lyanna comforted him a few words, then looked at the person who hit him. She was about to show her authority in front of David, but when she saw Jair, she was stunned.

"Mr. Cook..." She looked at Jair in disbelief.

Seeing her reaction, Jair knew she recognized him. He immediately pulled Claudia and turned to leave.

David panicked when he saw this. "Stop! You can't leave! I'm calling the police! I'm going to sue you!"

Claudia was also afraid that David would really call the police and it would affect Jair. She turned back, just about to say something, when she saw Lyanna raise her hand and slap David.

Claudia was stunned. David was also stunned, covering his face and looking at her. "Ms. Patel, you hit me?"

"Yes, I hit you!" Lyanna looked at him angrily. "How dare you provoke anyone?"

Jair pulled Claudia. "Let's go."

Although Claudia didn't understand, she obediently followed Jair this time.

David was still feeling wronged. "Ms. Patel, he hit me, and you're not standing up for me, but letting them go?"

"Do you know who he is?"

David asked, "Who?" He thought, even if Jair had a good aura, what kind of man could Claudia find? It couldn't be someone from a wealthy family, right?

Wealthy families usually dated people of the same social class, didn't they?

Lyanna felt that the look Jair gave her just now was terrifying. She thought about it and decided there was no need to explain too much to David. She stood up and said, "You're fired. From today on, you don't need to follow me anymore."

David was dumbfounded. "Ms. Patel! Ms. Patel!"

Lyanna didn't even look at him and turned to leave.

David's face hurt, his chest hurt, and he was fired by Lyanna. Not only was he fired, but he had also been dating Lyanna recently and was about to become a small leader.

He had endured the disgust of serving Lyanna, who was twenty years older than him, but in the end, he hadn't even enjoyed the joy of promotion and salary increase before being fired!

All of this was Claudia's fault! Yes, it was Claudia! He wouldn't let her get away with this!

Jair held Claudia's hand as they walked back. Seeing his stern face, Claudia couldn't help but cautiously ask, "Are you angry?"

Jair stopped, turned around, and looked at her. He said, "Yes, I am angry that you don't know how to protect yourself. When you encountered that bad man, why didn't you call me? If I hadn't come out, who knows how he would have bullied you."

"He would at most say a few nasty words. In public, he wouldn't dare do anything. But you, hitting someone, I'm afraid..."

"It's okay." Jair hugged her. "Don't be afraid, it's okay. People like him deserve to be hit."

Claudia hugged him, smelling the reassuring scent on him. "Thank you."

Jair couldn't help but nibble on her ear. "You're still being so polite with me?"

Claudia raised her hand to cover her ear, her face turning red.

Jair stopped teasing her and led her back to the room. Back in the room, Laura asked why they took so long. Jair said, "After the call, I went to the restroom."

Seeing that he didn't intend to say more, Claudia didn't say anything either.

The six of them chatted while eating, mostly chatting, and by the time they finished, it was very late.

Laura originally planned for the three women to sleep together tonight, but Josephine had to go see Andrew, so the plan was canceled.

After the three couples separated, Jair wanted to take Claudia back.

Claudia sat in the passenger seat and asked, "Are you going back to the military base tomorrow?"

Jair nodded and reached over to hold her hand. "I'm sorry, Claudia, I can never spend enough time with you."

Claudia said, "It's okay, we can talk on the phone every day. I'm already very satisfied."

"I'm not satisfied." Jair glanced at her. "I want to see you and hold you every day to feel satisfied."

Claudia lowered her head, playing with his fingers, and asked, "Then tonight... are you going back to your parents' place?"

Jair said, "No, I'm going to the south side. It's closer to the military base tomorrow morning."

"Then I'd like to see your place, if it's convenient."

Her voice got quieter and quieter, almost inaudible.

"Claudia?" Jair called out.

Claudia simply said, "I don't want to go back to my place."

Jair almost floored the gas pedal. His Adam's apple moved, and at a junction where he should have turned right, he turned left instead. This was the way to his place.

Claudia noticed it too. Her cheeks flushed, she turned to look out the window, not daring to look at Jair.

Neither of them spoke on the way, but their hands remained clasped. Not only that, but it was also unclear whose palm started sweating first, making it damp.

When they arrived at Jair's apartment complex, he drove directly to the underground garage. After getting out of the car, he held her hand and took the elevator.

They still didn't speak, and when their eyes occasionally met, Claudia quickly looked away.

Just like that, they reached the floor. Before opening the door, Jair finally spoke. "Claudia, are you sure? Once you enter this door, I might not give you a chance to regret it."

Claudia quickly looked at him. "Are you going to kick me out?"

Jair's eyes were deep. He pressed his fingerprint, opened the door, and pulled Claudia inside. His kiss followed immediately.
