Chapter 26 Are You Jealous
After Claudia came out, Stuart had already left with Doris.
Claudia saw Josephine and immediately asked, "Josie, why did you bid?"
During the process, Claudia didn't know who the buyer was and didn't recognize Stuart's voice.
Josephine smiled and said, "Because I like it. I think it's worth that price."
Josephine was telling the truth. She liked the dress and didn't want Doris to have it.
But in the end, Stuart bought the dress.
This foreign trip could be considered over.
Claudia didn't know what Josephine experienced outside the bar. Since she didn't see the tie show, Claudia wanted to go and see it.
Knowing Claudia was curious, Josephine went with her.
However, Josephine didn't expect to meet William at the bar.
William was also surprised to see them. "Josie? Are you guys here to have fun too?"
Since the last time Josephine mentioned to cuckold Stuart, Claudia found William quite pleasing upon seeing him again.
In fact, William was a handsome man.
At one moment, Josephine felt that William's smile was forced. She thought his personality wasn't as optimistic as he appeared.
However, looking at William's smile, Josephine felt she might be overthinking.
Josephine didn't say anything, but Claudia had already warmly invited William to join them. Considering safety, Josephine did not object.
William was experienced and knowledgeable, so he quickly hit it off with Claudia. His phone rang. After apologizing, he went outside to take the call.
Claudia took this opportunity to say to Josephine, "I think he's good. Judging by his clothes and accessories, he should be wealthy, so he wouldn't be after your money."
Josephine was surprised. "What do you mean?"
"Since Stuart is getting close to Doris, you can betray him," Claudia said angrily, "and William is great. Being with William will make Stuart feel jealous. Stuart will definitely be angry!"
Josephine just smiled.
Stuart only cared about the reputation of the Haustia family. Therefore, Josephine thought Stuart couldn't possibly become jealous because of her.
William didn't mention anything about liking or pursuing Josephine, so they had a good chat.
Later, Claudia went out to answer a call from the model. William finally had the chance to talk to Josephine alone.
"Are you ready to go home tomorrow?" William asked. "Are you in a hurry?"
Josephine nodded. "Things are done, so we should go back."
"I don't know when we can meet again."
Josephine smiled and said, "The world is not as big as we imagine, so we will have the opportunity to meet again in the future."
"Of course," William raised his glass to her. "I believe we will meet again soon."
Josephine also raised her glass and clinked it with his.
William continued, "Actually, I have a question. But I don't know if I can ask you."
"In that case, don't ask."
William chuckled at her words. "Josie, you're really funny."
"This is not a joke," Josephine said. "Mr. Campbell, it’s improper to discuss overly private topics with strangers."
"This question won't involve too much of your privacy," William said directly. "To be honest, I met your husband the other day. After that, I saw him a few more times. But the woman with him wasn't you."
Josephine remained silent.
William continued, "I don't know what's going on between you. But I feel that since you're married, your husband, as a man, should be responsible and loyal."
Josephine replied, "Mr. Campbell, you shouldn't be troubled by being forced to marry a stranger."
"Forced? Troubled?" William was shocked. "If the person I married was a beauty like you, I wouldn't be troubled because it would be the best gift! "
This time, Josephine was genuinely amused by him.
When Stuart entered, he only saw Josephine smiling sweetly at William.
Last time, Stuart was here for a gathering. The party ended prematurely because of Josephine's accident. Stuart's work was almost done, so his friends invited him for another gathering here. Stuart didn't expect to meet Josephine here again.
This time, Josephine wasn't in danger, but she was sitting across from another man. Stuart felt annoyed because of her happy laughter!
Stuart walked over to Josephine, leaving Doris and the other friends behind.
Doris wanted to follow, but Robin stopped her and shook his head. Doris immediately pretended to be sad. "Mr. Bailey, why does Josephine always have so many male friends?"
Robin snorted and said, "That's why I say Stuart is silly. He insisted on marrying Josephine. She has always had a close relationship with Liam Clement."
Doris covered her mouth and exclaimed, "I've seen it several times..."
Robin looked at her and asked, "What did you see?"
Doris shook her head. "Maybe I was mistaken. After all, Josephine is married. I don't think she would..."
Seeing Doris hesitate, Robin became more convinced that Josephine was definitely having an affair with Liam. Robin roared, "She's really promiscuous!"
Josephine gradually stopped smiling when she saw Stuart.
Stuart became angrier as he noticed her change in expression.
Stuart thought, 'She was laughing with another man before. But she stopped when she saw me.'
'She thinks I'm disturbing her.'
Stuart gave William a cold look.
Stuart thought, 'It's him again! He's morally wrong and has been entangled with Josephine!'
William quickly said, "Josie, you deserve a better man."
Before Josephine could reply, Stuart was already in front of her. "Mrs. Haustia, you're having a great time." Stuart said coldly.
After glancing at Doris, Josephine said, "Mr. Haustia, you too."
Stuart became gloomy. "Your foot is injured, so you should rest at the hotel. I'll take you back."
"Mr. Haustia, Josie doesn't need your help." William said, "There's a beauty waiting for you over there. I'll take Josie back."
"Josie?" Stuart looked terrifyingly cold. "You're not qualified to call her Josie. You..."
"Stuart Haustia." Josephine interrupted his words coldly. "He is my friend. It's reasonable for me to meet my friends."
Josephine was afraid that Stuart would say something insulting like last time.
Before Stuart could respond, Josephine said, "This place isn't just for you to bring your lover."
"Open your eyes and see," Stuart pointed behind him. "I came with a group of people. But you are meeting alone..."
"No." Claudia suddenly appeared and sat next to Josephine. She held her chin and looked at Stuart. "I came with Josie."
Stuart immediately stiffened.
"You should know he has bad intentions. But why do you allow such a man to get close to you?" Stuart asked again.
Josephine laughed gently and asked, "Stuart, are you jealous?"
