Gerald was driving, and he never let go of Kathy's hand the entire way.

"Kathy," He said softly, "I like you so much, what should I do?"
Kathy felt a flutter in her heart, lifted her chin, and kissed the corner of his lips.
She suddenly looked out the window. "Don't you have to go to work today?"
Gerald said, "I took a day off. When I asked for leave, I realized why newlyweds don't want to go to work."
Kathy said, "Who told you to..."
"I couldn't help it," Gerald said, "If it weren't for your shoulder injury, I might have been even more reckless."
"How dare you say that?" Kathy poked his chest. "I don't even recognize you anymore."
"Then let's get to know each other again," Gerald said, "From now on... no, from yesterday, I'm your husband."
Last night, in that situation, he had forced Kathy to call him "honey".
Now, he said again, "Call me that again."
Previously, Gerald didn't have this kind of hobby.
He had never asked Ulysses' mom to call him "honey" before.
But now, somehow, he just liked hearing Kathy call him that.

Kathy then remembered that she should inform her dad about this.
Gerald called, and Nicole answered quickly.
"You're going to drive me crazy," Nicole said as soon as she answered, "How did you suddenly get married? Did you propose? Don't let the girl feel wronged."
Gerald laughed, "No, she dragged me to City Hall."
Nicole was almost furious, "How could you do that?"
"Mom, I'm joking," Gerald quickly said, "How could I let the girl take the initiative? Of course, I proposed successfully, with flowers and a diamond ring. Although it was a bit cliché, I couldn't think of any other way."
"That's more like it," Nicole said, "Since you got the marriage certificate, see when you can have the wedding. Bring her home, and we need to meet the in-laws to discuss the wedding."
"Okay, I'll discuss it with Kathy."
After hanging up, Gerald went back, and Kathy had also finished calling her father.
Gerald sat down next to her, holding her hand, "My mom wants you to come home with me to discuss the wedding. And, about your dad, should we go visit him?"
"No need," Kathy said, "My dad said he would come."
