Chapter 209 How Good You Are at Serving People.
Stuart was the last one.
Josephine didn't expect him to show up here.
Laura laughed, frustrated. "Mr. Haustia, did you switch careers?"
The two people in front turned around, realizing the last guy wasn't from their club.
Stuart had convinced someone to let him take their place and get in.
Stuart looked at Josephine and said, "I only serve her."
Claudia was shocked to see Stuart there. She asked, "Did the Haustia Family go bankrupt?"
Josephine and Laura found it funny.
Stuart's jaw tightened, but he stayed quiet.
Before paying to replace that person, Stuart had second thoughts.
In Hustalia, he was well-known; his actions could impact the economy.
If people found out he was doing this in a club, he'd be a laughingstock.
But this was Celestia Springs, where few knew him. Plus, he was in a hurry and couldn't let other men near Josephine.
So, he paid the guy and followed them in.
He looked at Josephine, "Am I worse than that guy?"
Josephine stayed silent, but Laura said, "You don't look bad."
She eyed Stuart, full of mischief.
It was the first time Stuart was being judged by a woman. Normally, he would have already confronted Laura as an enemy, but for Josephine's sake, he held back."
Laura continued, "But can you serve people? What can you do?"
Stuart thought, 'How would I know how to serve others?'
Laura wanted to say more, but Josephine pulled her back.
She glared at Josephine and then said to Stuart, "You dare to serve people without any skills? Aren't you ashamed?"
She waved over the first guy. "Show him your skills. Do it well, and this is yours."
She pulled out a wad of cash.
The guy's eyes lit up. He took off his shirt, put his hands on his waistband, and started a hot dance.
He twisted his waist and hips, his long legs moving smoothly, dancing impressively.
When he finished, Laura clapped and gave him the cash.
She looked at the second guy, but before she could speak, Stuart said, "Alright. I can't do any of that."
"Can't do it?" Laura sneered. "Then why are you here? We're here to have fun, not to look at your stern face!"
Claudia laughed, covering her mouth.
Stuart's face was livid.
He looked at Josephine, his jaw tight. "Besides dancing, what else do you like?"
Josephine didn't laugh, her expression cold. "You think you can do whatever I like?"
Stuart's gaze was steady. "Yes. What do you like?"
Josephine looked at him and said, ""I like you staying far away from me."
Laura and Claudia laughed loudly. They didn't feel sorry for Stuart at all.
They knew exactly what Josephine had been through.
Even if Stuart dropped dead apologizing, they wouldn't care.
They were happy to see him suffer.
Stuart said, "Josephine, that's not funny."
"I'm not joking," Josephine replied. "Why put yourself through this?"
"It's not hard," Stuart said. "If it makes you change your mind, I'll do anything."
"I won't change my mind," Josephine said bluntly. "The more you do this, the more annoyed I get."
The guy who had just danced chimed in, "Are you done? If not, move and stop wasting our time!"
He was still shirtless, showing off his abs.
Laura had paid good money for him, and he was worth it.
Laura touched his abs. "Yeah, don't waste our time. Who did you replace? Go get him back!"
She signaled the more refined guy to sit next to Claudia.
Claudia, who had been laughing, suddenly got serious, not knowing what to do.
Women rarely came here, and few were as bold as Laura.
Stuart watched as Laura openly flirted with the guy.
The guy wasn't exactly a saint. He put his hand on his belt and pressed down.
Laura laughed. "So obedient, and a good figure too."
She pulled out more bills and stuffed them into his waistband.
Suddenly, there was a loud thud.
Everyone was startled. Josephine, who had been watching Laura, turned to see Stuart holding a wine bottle.
He had slammed it on the glass table, making a loud noise.
Laura was annoyed, standing up with her hands on her hips. "What are you doing? Want to fight? This isn't Hustalia. You can't do whatever you want here!"
Stuart looked at Josephine. "Josephine, come with me. If you like this, I'll show you at home."
Before Josephine could speak, Laura laughed. "Show what? Got some hidden talent? Don't go home, do it here. If you want to please someone, show some sincerity!"
Stuart only looked at Josephine.
Josephine shook her head. "I won't go with you."
Laura added, "You say you want to win her back, but I don't see it."
The guy next to her spoke up, "Exactly! If you really like her, what can't you do? Look at me, if she likes it, I'll do anything! You just aren't sincere!"
Laura patted his face and gave him more bills. "Exactly. No sincerity at all, and you dare to say you're pursuing her."
"Sincerity?" Stuart's voice was low. "Are you sure you won't come with me?"
Laura said, "Are you dreaming? She wouldn't go with you!"
"Fine," Stuart said, picking up the wine bottle.
Laura said, "What are you doing? If you dare to make a move here today, I'll call a dozen people to beat you up!"
Stuart didn't look at her, only at Josephine, raising the bottle high.
