Chapter 74 So, Divorce?

"Stuart!" Jair couldn't stand it anymore and frowned. He said impatiently, "Shut up!"

Couldn't Stuart see Josephine's face has changed?

If he continued, Jair won't be able to help him.

Josephine sneered, "William has no grudge against you; there's no reason for him to frame you. If you hadn't acted without reason, he wouldn't have had the chance to frame you even if he wanted to!"

That was indeed the case.

Stuart also sneered, "Don't you really know why he has animosity towards me?"

Without waiting for Josephine to speak, he continued, "He wants to have an affair with a married woman. What kind of man is he? Morally corrupt, lacking in virtue. Such a person, I just have to hit him."

Josephine couldn't hold back and said, "You have the nerve to talk about others lacking virtue. Stuart, before you criticize others, take a look at yourself, okay?"

Stuart said, "You..."

"Shut up, both of you!" Jair shouted, "Are you done yet? If you really don't want to stay together, go get a divorce now! If you still care about the reputation of our two families, sit down and discuss what to do!"

Stuart said directly, "Of course, we should get a divorce. But not now, I'll decide when!"

Josephine felt a sharp pain in her heart.

She lowered her eyes, hiding all the emotions in her gaze.

She asked Jair, "Are my colleagues still at the training ground?"

Jair nodded in acknowledgment.

She said, "Then I'll go back first, you guys have a good discussion."

Josephine returned to the training ground, not expecting that shortly after, Stuart also arrived.

Who knew how much effort Jair put in, but Stuart actually became their new instructor.

After all, William was injured and could no longer fulfill the role.

This time, the person standing next to Josephine was Stuart.

He stood close to Josephine, raising his hand to hold her arm. He instructed, "Higher."

Josephine gritted her teeth and whispered, "Stay away from me!"

Stuart bent down, as if correcting her posture, and whispered in her ear, "Don't you just want a man to take care of you? So, am I close enough?"

If it weren't for the public setting, Josephine would have slapped him.

As he spoke, one hand supported Josephine's waist, then moved up, patting her back. "Straighten up!" he commanded.

Josephine lifted her leg and stepped on his foot.

This bit of pain was negligible to Stuart.

He pinched Josephine's neck. He slyly remarked, "Behave! I'm your instructor now; show your respect, understand?"

Josephine was so angry she didn't want to say a word.

During the break, Stuart walked away to talk to Jair.

With his broad shoulders and long legs, wearing a camouflage uniform, he looked even more heroic, his whole body exuding a masculine charm that made women weak in the knees.

Josephine's colleagues gathered around.

Someone mentioned, "Dr. Kalmien, that instructor is even more handsome than the previous one!"

Somebody inquired, "Yeah, yeah, what did he say to you?"

Another remarked, "I also want the instructor to give me close guidance!"

One swooned, "Ah, he's so handsome! That waist, those legs, amazing."

Josephine smiled and excused herself to go to the restroom, then left.

Stuart's face was indeed unparalleled.

Plus, with his tall stature, broad shoulders, and narrow waist, it was easy for women to lose their minds over him.

However, Josephine had already moved past the stage of being infatuated with Stuart.

Once, she was even more passionate than her colleagues.

But what use was it?

In the end, she couldn't warm Stuart's cold heart.

Josephine came out of the restroom and washed her hands at the public sink.

When she looked up, she saw Stuart in the mirror.

Josephine didn't want to deal with him, so she kept her eyes straight ahead and tried to walk past him.

However, Stuart grabbed her arm.

Stuart said, "Josephine, don't go too far."

Josephine wanted to laugh. She said sarcastically, "Who's going too far? Stuart, if you really have nothing to do, go find your lover. I'm sure she's eagerly waiting to be with you."

Stuart said, "And then, no one will control you; you can go find men and seduce others, right?"

Josephine said, "Stuart, my reputation is already so bad that I can't do anything but bring shame to the Haustia family. Why don't you divorce me?"

Stuart's gaze turned dangerous. He asked impatiently,"Are you doing this on purpose, just to make me divorce you?"

"If that's what you think, fine," Josephine said, "So, are we getting a divorce?"

Stuart stared at her sharply for a few seconds, then turned and walked away.

They had extra training in the evening.

Josephine's colleagues thought they could rest after dinner.

Today's exercise was definitely over the limit for them.

However, unexpectedly, there was an emergency assembly.

Emergency assemblies were common in new recruit training.

Josephine came downstairs and the first person she saw was Stuart.

Even though she tried to ignore it, she had to admit that Stuart's face and body still made all women swoon.

Just standing there, he exuded an air of nobility and arrogance. Now, with the added steadfastness of a soldier, it was even harder to look away.

Josephine saw her colleagues looking at him with faces full of admiration.

Truly, full of admiration.

The emergency assembly was for a five-kilometer cross-country run.

Josephine's group was still training for the three kilometers run.

Today was the third day of Josephine's period, and she still felt uncomfortable.

As she ran, she fell behind, clutching her stomach and enduring the discomfort without stopping.

Jair was also running and saw Josephine, asking, "Josephine, are you not feeling well?"

Josephine shook her head in denial. She insisted, "I'm fine."

She didn't want any special treatment.

What happened in the afternoon had already made her colleagues suspicious.

Besides, she was representing the hospital here.

Jair didn't understand women and didn't show any pity. Hearing she said she was fine, he immediately ran ahead.

But soon, he saw Stuart.

He approached Stuart and said, "Josephine seems to be unwell, go check on her."

Stuart was conflicted.

He didn't want to see Josephine because he was still angry.

But he was also worried about her health.

Of course, he would never admit that he cared about her.

As he always said, if she fainted, it would be the Haustia family's disgrace.

"Ignore it," he coldly replied with two words.

Jair said, "You're the instructor now; aren't you responsible for your soldiers?"

Stuart finally said, "Fine, I'll go check. But let me be clear, I'm treating her as a soldier, not because I care about her."

Jair thought Stuart was being difficult.

They were a married couple, what was there to be difficult about?

He shook his head in disappointment and ran ahead.

Josephine felt a sharp pain below, it was really unbearable.

She wished she could stop and rush to the restroom.

Her pants might even be stained.

Her vision went black, her body swayed, and she cried out, thinking she was going to fall. The next second, a strong hand caught her.

Then, Josephine fell into Stuart's broad, warm chest.

Even in the cold winter, Stuart's body was warm, with a familiar cool scent that Josephine knew well.

"Are you still pretending?" Stuart's tone was harsh, his face dark. "Josephine, are you stupid?"
