Chapter 135 You Miss Me Too, Don't You?

Josephine didn't want to be alone with him.

Seeing Stuart's grim face, the others didn't dare say anything and left one by one.

Many sighed. Honestly, with Josephine's looks and figure, who'd want a divorce?

No one knew how beautiful Stuart's first love must have been to make him willing to divorce someone like Josephine.

Only Robin stayed. He looked at Josephine, then at Stuart. "Stuart..."

Stuart's face was livid. "Get out!"

Robin's face soured. His lips moved, but he got up and left.

Even though he and Stuart grew up together, the Bailey family was still lower in status than the Haustia family.

Stuart had absolute authority and never let anyone go against his wishes, not even his friends or his wife.

Once everyone left, the room went silent.

Josephine didn't want to sit. She stood across the table, looking at him. "What do you want? I've already apologized. What more do you want?"

"That's not an apology," Stuart said. "I gave you a chance, but you were arrogant and unrepentant!"

Josephine said, "Stuart, you think I'm divorcing you for fun. I'll prove it. For the next five years, I won't even show up in Hustalia!"

"Shut up!" Stuart was furious. "I didn't agree to you going abroad."

"I don't need your permission," Josephine said incredulously. "Stuart, we have no relationship anymore!"

Stuart said, "If the divorce is up to you, then whether we have a relationship is up to me."

"You're being unreasonable!" Josephine forced herself to calm down. "Fine, what will it take for you to not interfere with my visa?"

Stuart said, "I already told you, apologize and beg me to remarry, and I'll give you a chance. But I wasn't satisfied with your performance just now."

"In your dreams!" Josephine said angrily. "I don't want to remarry you!"

Stuart stood up, tugged at his tie, and walked toward her step by step.

Josephine instinctively backed away.

Stuart suddenly grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall.

"Let go of me!" Josephine gritted her teeth and glared at him. "You're a grown man, bullying a woman. Shameless!"

"Bullying others might be wrong, but..." Stuart looked at her up close, momentarily dazed.

Just a few days ago, they were sharing a bed, and he had left her covered in kiss marks.

But now, she wanted to leave him and go far away.

She was so heartless.

"Bullying you, I feel no guilt at all." Stuart buried his face in her neck, greedily breathing in her scent. "Josephine, you wrote in your diary that you liked me."

Josephine pushed him hard, but Stuart didn't budge.

It had only been a few days since they last saw each other, but Stuart felt her scent was intoxicating, as if he hadn't smelled it in ages.

He was like an addict, deeply obsessed with this scent.

"I told you, that's all in the past," Josephine said through gritted teeth. "I don't like you anymore!"

"You're lying," Stuart said, inhaling her scent and placing his lips on her neck. "Just admit it."

"Stuart!" Josephine struggled desperately. "We're already divorced. Don't touch me!"

"Josephine, a divorce certificate can't stop me." Stuart pinned her arms with one hand. "As long as I want to, no one dares interfere."

"Stuart, your behavior is no different from a beast."

"Called a beast during the marriage, still called one after the divorce. Might as well live up to it."

"Stuart!" Josephine shouted.

Stuart covered her mouth. "Be quiet for a while; don't talk."

He hadn't slept well these past few days. The last time they were together, he was drunk.

These past few days felt like years to him.

Stuart thought it was normal. He was a man in his prime, full of energy. Having been intimate with her before, suddenly being celibate was unbearable.

He believed that he was just addicted to Josephine's body.

Just embracing her made him feel incredibly satisfied.

He wanted to be even closer.

His lips kissed the skin behind Josephine's ear.

His lips were burning hot. Josephine's heart trembled, but she quickly turned her head to avoid his kiss.

"Be good." Stuart's voice was hoarse. "Don't force me to make love with you here."

"You wouldn't dare!" Josephine looked at him in disbelief. "Stuart, let go of me! If you dare do anything to me, I won't let you off even if it costs me my life!"

"Don't be so absolute," Stuart said, pinching her chin to keep her from moving. "You know how sensitive your body is to me."

His body was pressed against hers; she could feel the change clearly.

Stuart was truly a beast, reacting in such a place.

Josephine felt a surge of unease.

If Stuart really went crazy, who knew what he might do.

She had to buy time.

"Stuart, sex requires mutual consent. If word gets out, the Haustia family will lose face."

"Mutual consent?" Stuart's breathing was heavy. "Then you must want me too. You want me to kiss you, hold you, and love you."

"Let go of me first." Josephine tried to stay calm. "You're pressing on my chest; it hurts."

She felt that Stuart's emotions seemed a bit off.

Josephine asked, puzzled. "Are you drunk?"

"Your scent makes me drunk," he said, burying his face in her neck. "You smell so good."

Every cell in Josephine's body screamed in resistance.

At that moment, Josephine knew her feelings for Stuart had completely changed.

If she had any expectations for him before, now the last bit of hope had been killed by Stuart.

Stuart used to bring her passion and excitement. Now, he only brought her disgust and rejection.

Good. She had let go. Even if letting go of everything came at a great cost. At least she was free.

Josephine curled her lips. Her face showed a self-mocking yet relaxed smile.

Seeing her smile, Stuart felt a soft spot in his heart. "You miss me too, don't you?"

As soon as Stuart finished speaking, the door to the private room suddenly opened.
