Chapter 80 Just Do It or Don't. Why So Much Nonsense?
Josephine turned her face away. She said stubbornly, "I don't care."
Stuart grabbed her chin and turned her face back. He said impatiently, "Josephine, don't push your luck!"
Josephine said, "I don't want anything."
Before she could finish, Stuart thrust into her hard.
She cried out and immediately covered her mouth.
"Don't want?" Stuart held her down, not easing up. He said aggressively, "I think you want it very badly!"
Josephine had no strength to resist; the only thing she could move was her mouth.
Without thinking, she opened her mouth to bite Stuart.
Stuart pinned both her arms above her head with one hand and grabbed her chin with the other. He warned, "Don't try to seduce me by resisting; it won't work."
Josephine was trembling with anger as Stuart relentlessly kissed and licked her, leaving his marks all over her.
Including her period, it had been about ten days since Stuart last slept with her.
He tormented her half the night before finally letting her go.
When Josephine woke up in the morning, the box of condoms was already empty.
Stuart had used them all.
He was like a beast in heat!
Josephine gritted her teeth as she got out of bed, took a quick shower, and then left the room.
After such a night, Stuart didn't bother Josephine for the next two or three days.
However, they trained together and saw each other almost from morning till night.
Josephine didn't look at him even once, but Stuart's gaze often fell on her.
Josephine's colleague said, "Dr. Kalmien, I really think Mr. Haustia likes you; he's always looking at you!"
Josephine smiled. She said dismissively, "You must be mistaken. He's not looking at me."
The colleague looked puzzled. And rebutted, "Really? I always feel like he's looking at you."
Josephine just smiled and shook her head dismissively without saying anything.
The colleague continued, "Mr. Haustia is so handsome and a soldier. Dr. Kalmien, are you sure you don't want to consider him?"
In her eyes, only Stuart was a match for Josephine's looks.
Josephine said, "Actually, I knew Mr. Haustia before."
The colleague was surprised. She gasped, "You knew each other before?"
Josephine replied, "We were neighbors as kids."
The colleague said, "Then it's even more fitting; you grew up together."
Josephine curled her lips into a smile. She recalled jokingly, "Not really. On the contrary, we fought every time we met as kids. We didn't get along and had grudges."
That night, Stuart dragged Josephine back again.
He pressed her down, bullying her harshly. He remarked, "Not getting along? Grudges?"
Josephine couldn't even speak because of his thrusts.
She didn't know how Stuart had found out about her joking with her colleague.
While kissing her roughly, Stuart said, "Josephine, you may be smarter now than when you were a kid, but it doesn't matter. To me, you're still that little fool!"
Previously, when Josephine went to Stuart's office, she overheard Doris asking Stuart, "Am I really dumb? Josephine must be so amazing."
And Stuart replied, "She was dumb as a kid."
It was true.
Josephine was indeed clumsy as a child.
She would trip while walking, get food all over her face; when bullied, she was too naive to fight back.
Stuart still remembered the first time he held Josephine's small hand; it was because she had fallen down.
Her little hand was chubby, with cute dimples on the back.
At that time, she was crying hard, calling Stuart "big brother."
Stuart, annoyed, wiped her tears.
His tone wasn't gentle while comforting her.
Josephine hiccuped while crying and got teased by Stuart.
She cried until she was tired, her leg hurt from the fall, and she asked Stuart to carry her.
Stuart's face darkened. "I won't carry you!" he said adamantly.
Josephine was chubby as a child; despite her small size, she was heavy to hold.
Stuart asked, "Did Liam ever carry you?"
Josephine blinked her brown eyes in surprise. She replied, "Liam? Yes, he carried me when I got tired. Can you carry me too, big brother?"
Stuart got even more upset. "I will not carry you!" he said decisively.
Josephine said, "But my foot hurts!"
Stuart angrily replied, "Then you can't let Liam carry you anymore!"
"Huh?" Young Josephine didn't understand what Stuart meant.
Stuart wanted to say more, but Liam ran over. He said worriedly, "Josephine! What happened to you!"
He pushed Stuart away. He accused, "Did you bully Josephine?"
Seeing Josephine's tear-streaked face and dirty clothes, Liam started fighting with Stuart.
Josephine stood by and started crying again.
Stuart looked down, seeing Josephine beneath him, nearly twenty years later, with tears in her eyes.
Just like when she was a kid, always crying.
He brushed her tears away with his thumb. He teased, "Why are you crying? It doesn't hurt. Are you feeling too good?"
Josephine wanted to glare at him but knew she probably didn't look intimidating.
So she closed her eyes and remained silent.
Stuart didn't let her off. He demanded, "Open your eyes. Look at me. You're still the crybaby you were as a kid."
Josephine angrily said, "Just do it or don't. Why so much nonsense!"
Stuart's brief nostalgia vanished instantly.
He angrily replied, "Still as annoying as when you were a kid! You haven't changed at all in all these years!"
Josephine pushed him hard.
Stuart pressed down harder.
Josephine gritted her teeth, refusing to make a sound.
Afterward, Stuart didn't say another word, just focused on his task like a tireless machine.
When he finished, he got up and left without looking at Josephine, heading to the bathroom.
Josephine lay there like a broken doll, staring blankly at the ceiling.
When would these days end?
When would Stuart finally get a divorce?
Or rather, when would he get tired of her body?
She knew very well, and Stuart had said it too, that sleeping with her wasn't out of affection; it was just a physical need.
Stuart only saw her as a tool to satisfy his desires.
How pathetic.
Even more pathetic was that she wanted to escape this situation but didn't know how.
Maybe Liam could help her.
But she knew the Clement family wasn't as powerful as the Haustia family.
Maybe they were evenly matched over a decade ago.
But since Stuart took over, he had led the Haustia family to greater heights, expanding their business empire many times over.
No one dared to challenge him.
If she sought Liam's help, it would only bring trouble to the Clement family.
With Stuart's vengeful nature, he wouldn't spare the Clement family.
So, she had to figure this out herself.
Josephine thought for two days; then, while watching a video with a colleague one evening, she suddenly got an idea.
