Josephine returned to Hustalia, so Laura and Claudia naturally gathered around her.
Liam was busy with surgery, otherwise, he would have come too.
Seeing her return from the Haustia family with a box, both of them were curious about the contents.
When they opened it, it was glittering with gold and jewels.
It had several layers, filled with dazzling items.
Claudia exclaimed, "Are these all your old jewelry? I've never seen you wear them."
Laura took out a diamond necklace and said, "It's normal that we haven't seen them. She never liked wearing these. But Stuart is quite generous, letting you take them back."
Josephine said, "It's not just my old stuff. I've never seen the one you're holding."
Laura said, "I was wondering about that. This necklace is a new limited edition from last month. How did it end up in here?"
"Did Stuart buy it?" Claudia asked, resting her chin on her hand, "He is quite generous."
"To him, this amount of money is nothing," Laura said, putting the necklace back. "Josephine, what are you going to do? Keep them?"
Josephine shook her head. "No. I'll sell the old ones and donate the money. The new ones, I'll send back to him."
"Exactly, don't take his stuff, or it'll be hard to be mean to him." Laura agreed.
Claudia asked, "Can you tell which are new and which are old?"
Josephine was also puzzled. "I can't tell."
Laura said, "I think he did it on purpose. If Josephine keeps them, it's good for him. If she doesn't, she'll have to ask him about each one, which means more contact. What a good plan!"
Claudia angrily said, "That scoundrel!"
Josephine sighed and said, "Forget it, I'll send them all back."
However, it was easy to take them but hard to return them.
Josephine called Stuart, and when she mentioned this, he replied, "Once you take them, they're yours. There's no reason to return them."
She said, "Many of the jewelry pieces are new, not from before."
He asked, "Can you tell? Do you have receipts? How can you prove they're not old? Anyway, they're all yours, and I won't believe anything you say."

These jewellery might not mean much to Stuart, but it was a lot of money altogether.
She didn't want to owe him anything.
She personally went to Haustia Manor, thinking of giving them to Andrew. However, Andrew wouldn't accept them, either.
He was hoping Stuart would win Josephine back, so he definitely couldn't accept it.
In the end, the jewelry was still in Josephine's hands.
Laura told Steven, "Josephine won't need to borrow jewelry anymore."

Laura briefly explained and joked about Rex, "Now that Mr. Armstrong has nothing to do, he has no other way to show off."

He laid out several jewelry boxes in front of her.
She didn't even want to open them. "Mr. Armstrong, what do you mean by this?"
He replied, "Let me ask you a few questions first."
She uttered, "Go ahead."
He asked, "Do you want to get back with Stuart?"
She shook her head. "No."
He questioned, "Does Stuart give up easily?"
Josephine still replied, "No."
Rex continued to ask, "Have you thought about a way to decisively reject him?"
She then realized. "Mr. Armstrong, are you offering to help me?"
"Exactly." Rex thought Josephine was smart. "I have status and influence. With me in front of you, Stuart wouldn't dare say anything."
She said, "This is only temporary and meaningless."
However, Rex didn't plan to have a short-term relationship with her.
He was thinking of using this opportunity to get closer to Josephine.
By then, if she became his wife, it'd be useless no matter what Stuart did.
He wanted to persuade her further, but Josephine said, "Besides, I don't need this kind of act."
He asked, "So, you'll just endure his constant harassment?"
She replied, "He's not harassing me."
"He hasn't come these few days, but who knows what he'll do next?" Rex persuaded her, "You should cooperate with me to completely make him give up."
Josephine smiled. "There's no need for you."
He couldn't understand. "What do you mean?"
She said, "It was inconvenient before, but now I can tell you that I have a boyfriend."

He gritted his teeth and asked, "You're not reconciling with Stuart and playing me, are you?"
"How could that be?" She said, "My boyfriend is abroad."
He asked again, "Since when?"
"We've been in contact for a while and confirmed our relationship in the past few days," She said.
He was so angry that he was speechless.
If Josephine were single, he could pursue her however he wanted. If he succeeded, she'd be his wife, and it wouldn't be shameful to be with his wife.
But if she had a boyfriend, pursuing her further would be unethical.
He asked, "Really? You're not lying to get rid of me?"
Josephine said, "One lie requires more lies to cover it. If you don't believe me, my boyfriend will come see me in a few days."
Rex nodded. "Fine. I'll wait and see!"
