Chapter 456 Marry Me Again

When Gerald lamented his uselessness, Stuart had already gone abroad.

On his first day there, he didn't see Josephine at all. Because it was the final critical moment, Josephine had been working overtime, resting her head on the desk for a while at night before getting up to continue working.

It wasn't until noon on Stuart's second day there that he finally saw Josephine.

Afraid that Josephine would be too tired from walking, Stuart drove over to pick her up.

He led Josephine into the car, and she slumped in the passenger seat, saying, "I'm so tired, I feel like I'm going to die."

Stuart leaned in, his breath close. A passionate kiss fell, with Stuart holding her chin, controlling the force, making her tilt her head back to endure the intoxicating tenderness.

He only let go when both of them were breathless, but still kept their lips and teeth touching, their heavy breathing intertwined.

Stuart gently brushed her lips and said, "Let me revive you."

Josephine smiled, "What should I do? I feel even more exhausted."

Stuart said, "You don't need any strength; I'll carry you later."

"Okay."

After a while, Stuart still didn't move.

Josephine urged him, "Let's go back."

Stuart nuzzled her chin, "Wait, let me catch my breath."

Josephine's hand, which had been clutching his sleeve, slowly moved up to his broad back, gently patting it. She tilted her head and kissed his ear.

Stuart's body trembled, and the next second he pulled away from her. "Don't mess around," he said in a low voice, "we're in the car."

Josephine murmured softly, "I missed you."

Stuart's emotions, which had just calmed down, surged again.

He pinched her earlobe, "You're killing me. Do you really want me to mess around with you in the car?"

Josephine knew he wouldn't, given that the surroundings weren't private.

Josephine nuzzled his face.

Stuart took a deep breath, got up with difficulty, fastened her seatbelt, kissed her on the cheek, then sat properly and started the car. "Let's go back and eat first."

And he wanted her to rest well after eating. He saw the dark circles under her eyes, a clear sign of sleep deprivation, and felt distressed.

When they got back to their place, Stuart had already arranged for lunch to be delivered. After eating, he walked her around the room because it was not good to sleep right after eating. Only then did he let her lie down to rest.

Josephine slept until dusk. When she opened her eyes, the sky outside was dim, and she felt a bit disoriented.

But the next second, the familiar embrace made her close her eyes again in peace.

As she moved slightly, the large hand on her waist tightened.

Josephine mumbled, "Did you sleep too?"

Stuart's chin rested on her hair, "Yeah, for a while."

Josephine responded with a hum.

Stuart nuzzled her, "How do you feel? Revived?"

Josephine turned around, her head rubbing against his chest, "Not quite yet."

Stuart looked down at her, his eyes smiling, "What should we do then?"

Josephine looked up, her straight nose brushing against his chin, "Maybe you need to revive me again."

Before she could finish her sentence, Stuart kissed her.

This kiss was even more intense and urgent than before. All of Stuart's longing poured out, and the temperature in the room began to rise, the romantic atmosphere gradually spreading.

Stuart had held back for so long, now that he finally saw Josephine, he couldn't hold back anymore.

Josephine felt that he wasn't reviving her; he was practically taking her life.

They messed around until after nine, and it was only when Josephine said she was hungry that Stuart reluctantly stopped.

"No matter how much I feed you, you're never full?" Stuart kissed her, "Such a glutton."

Josephine wanted to kick him but didn't have the strength, so she just glared at him fiercely.

Stuart laughed, picked her up, bathed her, and dressed her.

Dinner was also delivered, and he fed Josephine while holding her in his arms.

Josephine said, "I can eat by myself."

"Be good," Stuart said, "Think about it, when we go back, where will we have any alone time? During meals, Gerald will be watching me like a hawk, not to mention holding you or serving you food."

Josephine couldn't stop laughing.

Stuart said, "You think I'm joking? I'm serious. So now, we need to enjoy ourselves."

Josephine let him take care of her.

But after dinner, they went back to bed, talked for a while, and Stuart started getting restless again.

Josephine said, "Don't you need to rest?"

Stuart said, "I'm a normal man. I've held back for so long, and now I finally see you. You don't have to work tomorrow, and no one will disturb us. If I don't do something, it would be a waste of this time God arranged."

"You talk as if you won't see me after we go back."

Stuart sighed, "When we go back, you'll definitely stay with your mom for a few days. They won't let me go."

Josephine laughed at his expression, "Just say what you want to say."

Stuart held her, "After sleeping with me for so long, shouldn't you give me a title? That way, when you go back to your mom's, at least I can go with you."

Josephine looked up at him, "Who slept with whom?"

"I slept with you, but didn't you sleep with me too?" Stuart looked at her with a smile, "And who felt good? Who enjoyed it? You don't even know, at that time you bit..."

"Oh my!" Josephine bit his lip, "Stop talking!"

Stuart pinched her earlobe, "Still shy? We've been together for so long, what's there to be shy about?"

Josephine said, "I don't want to be, but you're too shameless."

"How could I have chased you if I were too proper?" Stuart said shamelessly, "I think it's great."

Josephine had no words to respond.

"So, when will you give me a title?" Stuart asked.

Josephine burrowed into his arms, "Sleep."

Stuart didn't say anything more, and Josephine only heard rustling sounds by her ear. Then, her hand was held by him, his fingers rubbing hers, and suddenly, her fingertip felt cool.

Josephine instinctively looked and saw that Stuart had put a ring with a dazzling and beautiful blue diamond of unknown carats on her ring finger.

"It's your favorite color," Stuart said, "It's the largest carat I can buy right now. Josephine, marry me again, will you?"

Josephine sniffled.

Stuart held her, "I had prepared flowers and a candlelight dinner, but when I saw you, I couldn't hold back. I'm sorry, Josephine."

Josephine's eyes reddened, and she shook her head.

Stuart continued, "I wish I could let the whole world know that you're mine. But I know you don't like that. My love for you, as long as you know, that's enough."

He knelt on the bed, shirtless, with a blanket draped over his lower half, looking somewhat ridiculous. But in Josephine's eyes, she saw determination and devotion.

He said, "Josephine, marry me."
