Chapter 435 Suspecting Me of Taking Drugs?
Early the next morning, Josephine received an urgent task.
Actually, when Stuart received Jair's message, both he and Josephine were still asleep.
It wasn't that the two of them are being lazy; it was just that Stuart had just reconciled with Josephine before they went to Hustalia, and they didn't have any time to be intimate. Now that they' were back, it was understandable that he was having a hard time controlling himself.
Josephine was puzzled and said, "I heard that men's sexual function declines after the age of twenty-five. Are you taking some kind of medication?"
Stuart hadn't caught on yet. "What medication?"
"You know, the kind that boosts a man's energy."
Stuart was furious. "You think I'm taking medication?"
Josephine said, "Medical research shows..."
"Shows what?" Before she could finish, Stuart pinned her down. "No research is as convincing as the facts. Fine, you think I'm on medication? I'll show you whether I am or not!"
And that was just the beginning. Sometimes men go to great lengths to prove themselves.
So, Stuart, who was already naturally gifted, ended up exhausting Josephine to the point where she couldn't even speak.
In the end, he still asked Josephine, "Did I take any medication? Huh? Did I?"
Josephine had to beg for mercy. "No, you're the best."
Stuart leaned down, his body pressed against hers, and whispered in her ear, "Call me 'honey,' and I'll let you go."
Josephine was silent.
What kind of twisted pleasure was this! But to beg for mercy, she had to comply.
As a result, Stuart didn't keep his word; after she called him that, he seemed even more excited. After all that, Josephine couldn't take it anymore.
In the morning, Stuart didn't go to the gym, and both of them were still asleep.
Jair had sent the message to Stuart. After reading it, Stuart hugged Josephine and went back to sleep.
When Josephine woke up, he told her there was a task.
"What?" Josephine had just woken up and was still groggy.
Moreover, her body hadn't been this tired in a long time; Stuart had put her in all sorts of positions last night.
Luckily, her body was flexible; otherwise, it would have been hard to keep up with Stuart.
But knowing her body's capabilities, Stuart had been so excessive. Before she fell asleep, Stuart was still giving her a massage, so when Josephine woke up this morning, she was just tired but otherwise fine.
Stuart said, "Jair wants to propose and needs our help."
"Propose?" Josephine's sleepiness was half gone. "He wants to propose to Claudia?"
"Yeah, who else?" Stuart laughed, "He also asked you what kind of romance Claudia likes."
Josephine was instantly awake. "The more romantic, the better. Claudia is like a little girl; she must have high expectations for this kind of romantic gesture."
"So Jair is asking for our help."
"Sure." Josephine was eager. "I'll discuss it with Laura right away."
"Why are you so excited?" Stuart asked her, "If I were to propose to you, would you be this happy?"
Josephine said, "Seeing Claudia happy makes me happier than my own happiness."
Stuart kissed her. "Claudia is lucky to have a friend like you."
"Get up quickly." Josephine patted him, "I need to discuss this with Laura!"
Seeing her so eager, Stuart thought he should also start planning his proposal.
Jair and Claudia had gotten together later than them, but now Jair was already planning to propose. It made him envious.
Josephine went to freshen up, and Stuart called Jair directly.
Jair and Claudia were still in bed too. Due to his habits from the military base, Jair woke up early.
He held Claudia, reluctant to let go, and after thinking for a long time, he sent a message to Stuart.
When Stuart's call came through, Claudia showed signs of waking up.
Jair quickly muted the phone and gently patted her. Claudia went back to sleep. Jair quietly got out of bed and went to the balcony to take the call.
"Planning to propose?" Stuart asked, "You're moving fast."
Jair could hear the envy in his voice and laughed, "Can't help it, you guys are too slow."
Stuart was amused, "You think I don't want to propose? I do."
"Well, I'm going to beat you to it." Jair said, "Did you tell Josephine? Ask her to help me think it through."
Stuart said, "I did, she's very excited and wants to discuss it with Laura. But if I remember correctly, you haven't introduced Claudia to your parents yet, right? And you're already proposing?"
Jair said, "My family knows about her, and they don't object."
"That's good." Stuart said, "Have you bought everything?"
"I decided in a hurry, so I'll buy an engagement ring first and then custom-make the wedding rings later."
"I'll recommend a designer to you. Josephine and I plan to get our rings made there."
"Oh, so you have plans too?"
"I've had them for a while." Stuart said, "I just didn't expect you to beat me to it."
"Not being proactive about marriage is a problem."
Stuart laughed, "A year ago, would you have thought this way? You've changed a lot."
"People with girlfriends are different from those without. And the more outstanding the girlfriend, the more you should feel a sense of urgency. Honestly, if I were you, I would have proposed long ago. I don't know what you're waiting for."
Stuart felt a bit wronged. Did he want to wait? He had long wanted to marry Josephine. But after they reconciled, Josephine had been resistant to his advances, so he had to resolve that issue first before considering anything else.
This wasn't something he could explain to Jair. Stuart could only say, "I'll speed things up."
After Josephine freshened up, they went downstairs for breakfast.
Andrew and Jeffery had already eaten and were in the study reading.
Many kids at this age are very mischievous, but Jeffery could sit quietly. He accompanied Andrew in reading, exercising, and even knew how to make people laugh, making Andrew smile every day.
Not just Andrew, but Jeffery also got along well with Nicole. Even Ulysses couldn't do without Jeffery now; he would look for Jeffery to play with as soon as he got home from school. Despite the age difference, they still had a lot in common.
Seeing how well Jeffery got along with everyone, Josephine felt relieved. She said to Stuart, "I think Jeffery's social skills are really impressive. I wonder who he takes after."
You know, Stuart was very serious and unsmiling as a child. Josephine wasn't particularly outgoing either.
Stuart said, "Maybe he takes after Grandpa. Grandpa has a great personality, no wonder he likes Jeffery so much."
Josephine was silent for a couple of seconds and then asked, "Does Grandpa really not mind Jeffery having my last name?"
Stuart said, "I was just about to discuss this with you."
