Chapter 109 Is He Trying to Scam Us?

"Pay up quickly, kid!"

"Why aren't you saying anything? What are you standing there for?!"

The two big men shouted at Noah.

"If you don't pay up, be careful, I won't be nice!"

One of them had already clenched his fist tightly, staring at Noah with an unfriendly expression.

There was quite a crowd gathering because of the commotion.

"Oh my, someone got hit!"

"He knocked down an old man. Young people these days are too careless when they drive!"

"Yeah, maybe driving a BMW makes them feel superior."

The crowd pointed and whispered about Noah.

"We’ll for the traffic police to come and deal with this," Noah said calmly.

"Wait for the traffic police? Shouldn't your first priority be to call for an ambulance for my dad, kid?"

"You hit someone, and now you want to dodge responsibility?"

The two big men approached Noah, glowering at him aggressively.

Luna stepped back in fear and pulled Noah's arm.

"Noah, just pay him the fifty thousand dollars. If you don't have money, I'll cover it first, then we can call the hospital and get him on an ambulance."

"I can assure you that I didn't hit anyone. So there's no need to pay any money, let alone call an ambulance." Noah remained calm.

"You didn't hit anyone? If you didn't hit anyone, how did my dad end up on the ground?"

"It seems like you're trying to scam us, kid! Pay up quickly, or else don't blame us for getting physical!"

One of the big men pulled out an iron rod from somewhere and tapped it on his palm.

"Just give them the money, Noah. Fifty thousand dollars isn't much. It's better to resolve big problems and avoid getting beaten up," Luna advised. "Otherwise, who knows what might happen."

"What's going on here?"

At that moment, they heard a voice and a traffic police officer walked over.

The big man quickly put away the iron rod and pointed at Noah when he saw the traffic police.

"Officer, he hit my dad!"

"Yes, he hit my dad so hard that his leg’s been fractured!"

The traffic police glanced at the man on the ground.

The man screamed in pain as he saw the traffic police officer. "Ouch, it hurts! It hurts so much!"

"Sir, do you have a dash cam in your car?" the traffic police officer asked Noah.

"No," Noah shook his head.

"Then you'll have to compensate and call for an ambulance," the traffic police officer said.

Noah was taken aback. "I didn't hit anyone, he crashed into me intentionally, and you’re asking me to compensate him?"

"You didn't hit anyone? Where's your evidence? Show it to me!"

The traffic police officer glanced at Noah coldly. "The man is lying on the ground. Who would believe that you didn't hit him? Besides, you drive a BMW, are you saying you can't afford a few thousand dollars?"

"Who knows, he might have rented that BMW." The big man glanced at Noah and then at Luna, greed shining in his eyes.

'He rented a BMW just to impress a goddess, he’s probably just a broke nobody.'

"Even if there's no dash cam, there must be surveillance cameras! Won't the road surveillance cameras show whether this old man crashed into us or not?" Luna spoke up.

"Sorry, but the surveillance cameras on this road are broken."

The traffic police officer became impatient. "Hurry up and pay him, don't waste my time."

"Young man, the traffic police officer told you to compensate us. Are you deaf? Pay up!" The big man looked smug.

"This young man probably wants to shirk his responsibility!"

"Yeah, he hit someone and won’t take responsibility, sigh, he has no sense of responsibility at all!"

The crowd pointed and whispered about Noah.

Noah frowned and suddenly smiled.

"Noah, why are you smiling?" Luna was puzzled.

"Is that brat trying to act dumb and avoid paying up?" The big man's eyes flickered.

"Luna, wait for me here."

Noah saw a branch of the Bank of the Sea by the roadside and walked over to it.

Before long, Noah came out, holding a black plastic bag.

Several bank employees and the branch manager respectfully saw Noah off and bowed to him repeatedly.

"You said that I have to compensate fifty thousand dollars for breaking your father's leg, right?" Noah looked at the big man.

"Yeah, fifty thousand dollars. Kid, I'm telling you, not a cent less!" The big man said coldly.

"There are three of you, and it's fifty thousand for one leg. So that makes thirty thousand dollars for six legs."

Noah said calmly, throwing the bag of cash onto the ground.

Clatter!

Bundles of cash spilled out of the plastic bag, all in large American dollars, causing the surrounding crowd’s eyes to blaze with greed.

"So much money!"

The two big men were stunned, with traces of greed in their eyes.

Luna, on the other hand, was puzzled. She didn’t understand what Noah was planning to do.

"There's a total of three hundred thousand dollars on the ground here, which is exactly enough for the three of you to break your legs."

Noah smirked coldly, took out a baseball bat from the trunk, and his mouth curved into a cruel smile.

"What are you doing, kid?"

"Are you trying to hit us? Will you take the three of us on?"

"Did you get kicked in the head?"

The three men were stunned and looked at Noah with mockery in their eyes.

As soon as they finished speaking, Noah's figure, appeared behind the two big men like lightning.

He swiftly kicked forward!

There were two crisp sounds.

One big man fell to the ground, holding his knee and wailing in pain.

"Ah! It hurts so much!"

But it wasn't over yet.

Noah stomped his foot again.

The sound of bones breaking echoed.

"He’s so fast!"

"That guy must be skilled!"

"I couldn't even see what happened!"

Everyone present was dumbfounded.

Luna’s mouth was also wide open, forming an "O" shape. She was completely shocked.

The two big men and the middle-aged man from earlier were all lying on the ground, clutching their knees and wailing.

But this time, their cries were genuine; there was no faking it. Cold sweat had broken out on their foreheads.

"That’s what a fracture looks like, but it's not enough."

Noah tightened his grip on the baseball bat and viciously smashed it onto one of the big man's legs.

The blow made the big man's entire leg convulse.

"Argh! It hurts so much!"

The big man's face turned purple, and he let out a wretched cry.

"You like to stage fake accidents, don't you?

"You like to extort money, don't you?"

Noah sneered, "Then let's make the performance more realistic. I can give you money."

As he spoke, he swung the baseball bat hard onto the big man’s other leg!

"Argh!"

The pain caused the big man's whole body to tremble, and tears flowed down his face.

"It hurts so much!"

However, it wasn't over yet.

Noah's gaze shifted to the other big man.

He raised the baseball bat.

Two sounds resounded through the air.

"Argh!"

The big man let out a miserable scream, tilted his neck, and fainted from the pain.

Noah's gaze then turned to the middle-aged man.

"D-Don't come any closer, kid!"

The man's teeth chattered as he sat on the ground, hands supporting himself as he retreated. His face turned pale, and his eyes were filled with fear.

Was this young man even human?

He was ruthless!

"Don't come any closer? When you were staging the accident, I didn't invite you to come closer either. You could've targeted someone else, but you specifically chose me."

Noah smiled coldly and lifted the baseball bat.

Two more sounds resounded through the air.
