Chapter 373 Underground Casino

"Typical gold digger behavior!" Sarah lay in Larry's arms, letting out a cold laugh. "You think you know someone, but you really don't. Luna always seemed like such a sweet, innocent girl. Who would've thought that when we hit rock bottom, she wouldn't lend us any money?"

"She makes over half a million dollars a month and can't even spend it all. That money's just sitting there. She could've helped us out! It's not like we wouldn't return it; we promised to within a year, didn't we? But no, she refused and had that loser Noah answer the phone instead!"

"It's clear that Luna and Noah's whole family look down on us. They probably think we can't pay them back."

"Yeah, I didn't expect Luna to act like this. People are so unpredictable," Larry sighed. "Honey, what do we do now?"

"We'll have to get a loan from the bank," Sarah said after a moment of thought. "That's our only option right now. With your credentials, getting a loan shouldn't be too hard. It's the only way those developers will work with us."

"You're right." Larry nodded. "Once we get the loan, I'll work my butt off! Today was a huge blow to my pride. When I make money, I'll get back all the dignity I lost today."

"Go for it, honey!" Sarah encouraged him.

Sarah's phone buzzed with a notification. She picked it up and saw it was a news alert. "Rolls-Royce Guy," she read the headline, her eyes lighting up. "It's been a while since we've heard anything about him."

She quickly opened the news article.

"My idol, Rolls-Royce Guy, is in the news!" Larry's whole body tensed with excitement as he leaned in to read.

"Rolls-Royce Guy helped the police in Silverlight City bust a major drug trafficking ring. Amazing! My idol!" Larry was trembling with excitement. "He helped the police solve cases back in Oceanbridge City too. I can't believe he's in Silverlight City now, helping the police here as well!"

"No wonder he's my idol!" Sarah's eyes sparkled with admiration. "Rolls-Royce Guy isn't just rich; he's talented and spreads positive energy!"

"Exactly," Larry nodded seriously. "I'm at the lowest point in my life right now. My reputation is in shambles in Oceanbridge City, and I can't borrow a dime in Silverlight City. I feel like I'm in total darkness."

"But Rolls-Royce Guy is like a beacon of light in my life, giving me hope and motivation to keep going. That's the power of having an idol!"

"Reading about him fills me with determination and energy! I believe I can make a comeback!" Larry clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms. "When that happens, who cares about Luna? And Noah, that loser? I'll crush them under my feet! With the motivation Rolls-Royce Guy gives me, I know I can succeed!"

"Especially that Noah. He thinks he can ignore me just because he hides under Bodhi's wings? I'll definitely teach him a good lesson!"

"Go for it, honey!" Sarah cheered him on.

At 7:15 AM, Hilton Hotel.

After breakfast, Noah received a message from Ethan. The people from Respect Noah Pavilion had arrived at the Hilton.

[Got it,] Noah replied to Ethan and gathered the East and the other three, heading downstairs.

In the parking lot, eight black Buick SUVs were lined up neatly. As Noah appeared, the doors of all eight vehicles opened simultaneously, and a group of men in sunglasses stepped out.

These men were tall, dressed in suits, and exuded a cold, intimidating aura. They were members of Respect Noah Pavilion, who had rushed overnight from Oceanbridge City to Silverlight City, totaling forty men.

"Noah!" The four men bowed their heads and shouted in unison, their voices booming and drawing the attention of passersby.

"What's going on? Is this a movie shoot or something?"

"Let's keep our distance. These guys look like trouble," people whispered as they hurried away.

"You've traveled all night from Oceanbridge City and must be exhausted," Noah said, looking around at the group. "But now is not the time to rest. We have an important task ahead, and I need you all to stay sharp."

"Yes, sir!" they responded in unison.

"Let's go," Noah's expression turned serious. Today was crucial. They had to act before the Murphy family realized Noah was in Silverlight City and take down Jesse.

Jesse was the only one who knew Noah's identity. If they were too late and the Murphy family issued orders, Noah would be in great danger.

After getting into the cars, they headed straight for Galaxy District. Nearing 43 Brookside Road, Noah had the forty Respect Noah Pavilion members get out and spread out.

Pinewood Breakfast Shop.

That was the name of the shop at 43 Brookside Road. Oddly, it was morning, but the breakfast shop was closed, and a blond-haired thug stood at the entrance.

"The shop's closed. If you want breakfast, go somewhere else," the thug said impatiently as Noah and his group approached.

"I'm here to see Jesse," Noah said.

"See Jesse?" The thug looked Noah up and down, then glanced at the four men behind him. After a moment, he said, "Follow me. Jesse said if five people came together, I should take them straight to him."

The thug led them inside the breakfast shop.

They entered a small side room. The walls were peeling, cobwebs hung in the corners, and a faint musty smell filled the air. There was only a tall cabinet in the room.

The thug walked over to the cabinet and pushed it with ease.

A hidden door appeared, revealing a staircase leading down. Voices, footsteps, and cheers echoed from below.

"Hurry up and get in. The crackdown on crime is intense right now. The cops could show up any minute!" the thug urged impatiently when Noah hesitated.

"Alright." Noah nodded, bending down to enter the hidden door and descending the stairs. The East Four followed closely behind.

After about fifteen seconds, they reached the bottom, and their view opened up.

They found themselves in a massive underground casino, filled with gambling tables—forty or fifty at a glance. The air was thick with cigarette smoke, almost suffocating.

Around each table, people of all ages—young, middle-aged, and elderly—were gathered, their faces alight with excitement, eyes bloodshot, and fixated on the cards, shouting loudly.
