Chapter 338 If You Are Not A Moore

Liam froze when he heard those words.

He glanced back at his phone screen. Even through the phone, he could feel the coldness in Atticus's gaze, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Your bodyguards are with you, right?" Atticus asked again.

"Yeah!" Liam quickly replied, a sense of foreboding rising within him.

"Let me see them."

"Okay!" Liam didn't dare disobey. He turned the camera towards the three bodyguards.

The scene on the screen made Atticus's eyes blaze with fury.

Noah was being held at gunpoint by the three bodyguards!

The guns were aimed at the back of his head and his temple—both fatal spots. One wrong move, and Noah would be dead!

If Noah died, especially at the hands of the Moore family, the entire eastern region of Eagleland would be dragged into chaos.

"Liam, you're asking for trouble!" Atticus snarled, nearly fainting from rage.

"Mr. Moore!"

The three bodyguards greeted Atticus respectfully.

"Put your guns down, now," Atticus commanded.

"Yes, Mr. Atticus Moore!" The bodyguards obeyed, lowering their weapons.

"Arrest Liam for me!" Atticus ordered.

The bodyguards were stunned.

Liam was also taken aback.

"What, you don't listen to me anymore? Arrest Liam! Now!" Atticus's voice rose, his authority palpable.

"Yes!" The bodyguards, trembling, immediately grabbed Liam.

"Uncle Atticus, what are you doing? Why are you arresting me?" Liam shouted in confusion.

"Give the phone to Mr. Anderson," Atticus said, ignoring Liam's question.

"Mr. Anderson? Which Mr. Anderson?" Liam looked around, still not understanding.

"Give it to Noah Anderson!" Atticus shouted.

Liam's whole body shook, his legs trembling. Atticus was showing Noah such respect!

Liam was utterly shocked. Who was Noah, really?

The bodyguards were equally stunned, their thoughts mirroring Liam's.

"Don't make me repeat myself, Liam. Give the phone to Mr. Anderson now!" Atticus's voice was stern, his patience wearing thin.

"Yes, yes, Uncle Atticus, I'll give it to him right now!" Liam quickly handed the phone to Noah.

"Mr. Anderson," Atticus's voice was serious as he addressed Noah, "Liam is my nephew. His disrespectful actions are partly my responsibility. I will personally apologize to you in the future."

"Furthermore, Liam nearly endangered your life. He must face the consequences. He is at your disposal, Mr. Anderson."

Noah didn't respond to Atticus. Instead, he looked at one of the bodyguards.

"Give me the gun."

"This..." The bodyguard hesitated.

"Do as he said!" Atticus shouted, cold sweat forming on his forehead as he couldn't gauge Noah's intentions.

"Yes, Mr. Moore!" The bodyguard handed the gun to Noah.

Noah raised the gun, pointing it at Liam.

"Noah, what are you doing?" Liam was terrified, his scalp tingling, heart pounding, and body covered in cold sweat. He tried to dodge the gun.

"Hold him down!" Atticus ordered.

The three bodyguards immediately pinned Liam down, preventing him from moving.

"Liam, I gave you a chance earlier," Noah said coldly. "Out of respect for Atticus, I told you to kneel and apologize, then return to the Moore family, and I would let it go. But you didn't cherish it and even tried to kill me. Now, you must pay the price."

With that, Noah pulled the trigger.

Four gunshots echoed in the underground parking lot.

Blood spurted from Liam's arms and legs, the bullets hitting his elbows and knees.

Liam's face turned pale, and he screamed in agony, his body convulsing and his face contorted in pain.

"It hurts so much!" Blood gushed from his wounds, the metallic scent of blood filling the air. He collapsed to the ground, powerless.

The bodyguards rushed to support him.

"No one is to help him!" Atticus shouted.

The bodyguards quickly stepped back.

Liam lay on the ground, cold sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Mr. Anderson, Liam's insubordination and the danger he posed to your life are inexcusable. Even if you kill him, I will have no complaints. This is the punishment he deserves!" Atticus said seriously, with no hint of insincerity.

"Uncle Atticus, don't kill me!" Liam's face changed dramatically, and he shouted, "Please, don't kill me! I'm your nephew!"

Atticus looked at Liam coldly, saying nothing.

Seeing this, a wave of despair washed over Liam. He turned to Noah, crawling towards him, pleading, "Noah... no, Mr. Anderson, please don't kill me. I'll do anything you want! Just spare me!"

He regretted everything, finally understanding Noah's words on the boat: "Even Atticus can't save you." It wasn't a boast; it was the truth.

Even Atticus had to show Noah such respect. How could he save Liam?

Noah glanced at Liam. "I'll spare your life today. If you weren't a Moore, you'd already be a corpse."

With that, Noah tossed the gun aside, and a bodyguard quickly caught it.

"Liam, thank Mr. Anderson for sparing your life!" Atticus ordered.

"Thank you, Mr. Anderson! Thank you, Mr. Anderson!" Liam kowtowed, blood dripping from his forehead.

"Compile the information on all the families and send it to me on Facebook," Noah instructed Atticus.

"Yes, Mr. Anderson!" Atticus nodded immediately.

Noah tossed the phone back to Liam, clasped his hands behind his back, and walked towards the parking lot exit.
